Yeudi Conclave

The WJZR had sent a delegation too, stiff men and women in sombre suits with pins that showed a globe on fire had entered the modern hall. Party men, any Jelbic could tell them apart. They looked like missionaries going door to door. There were two other men with them that did not wear the pins, and their suits were clearly designer too. One of them was a lax looking younger guy, some might recognise him from a recent gossip magazine article. The other was older, stern, a weathered face that had seen it all.

The Jelbic delegation spoke intensely amongst themselves, with the leader mostly deferring to the men in expensive suits. Finally, after being given a rough nudge from the elder Jelbic he spoke. The younger one had a big smirk on his face as this happened.

The Worldburnerist People's Republic of Wrnuke is a staunch defender of international democracy... the.. (clears throat) The proposal to reform the monarch of the Yeudi people into a more ceremonial role, and to combi- combine it with the existing role of President of the Triad is satisfactory. As the protectors of the Yeudi gems in Wiel, we have coordinated with the Banmek-Sntazed family who have given their full support for this proposal.

..But.. They are requesting that the next elected President of the Triad to serve as representative of the Yeudi people officially acknowledge the Yeudi people as descendants of the Jelbic peoples... and that any unused regalia and historical artefacts are to be transferred to charities and societies in the Jelbosphere for public display--they are calling this a.. return of property.
