President passes away in hospital, emergency elections declared as riots break out in the capital, new gold mines discovered
It is with great sadness and respect that we here at the Pravda declare that our former president for nearly 2 decades of electoral victories, Jozef Otčenáš, has passed away. His son, Ludvík Otčenáš has resigned his position as prime minister in order for a temporary emergency government to form to keep the state intact. After this occured a multitude of riots broke out in what threatens to become serious in the capital, with black batallions of Ludvíks VKWP battling with self purported liberals and "free thinkers" of the former KPP & APPA parties. We call upon the nation for calm in this time of strife and allow the election to proceed as intended.
Ludvík gave a speech regarding the events and his fathers passing,
"Sons and daughters of the one true Kundrati party and its patriots, in this hour of mourning and strife I call upon you to support the government as I turn in my commission as prime minister to focus on my electoral campaign for president of the nation. In this dire hour the passing of my father and prayers to the almighty have proven my suspicions correct, in our midst harbored are the multitudes of traitors and communists who seek to destroy our nation and faith. I call upon all able bodied patriots who fear the lord and love the fatherland to give me your vote, and march in the streets to prevent our destruction by these godless heathens. All glory to Kundrati, God, and the Vanguard Kundrati Workers Party!"
Ludvík Otčenáš is expected to be the main front runner in the election, however despite the bans on radical minor parties and new threshold laws, over 5 different candidates both from the VKWP, APPA, KPP, and independents are on the ballots, having found supposed support mostly in Jildrath, Extea, and Peghonai.
New gold mines were discovered with enough ore to be drilled for decades to come! This exciting discovery comes after years of efforts by the regime to find new natural resources. This undoubtedly will strengthen the new gold backed currency and reduce national need for imported bullion, once more proving the bounty of the nation and its people is more than sufficient in a world which wishes to dominate others economically, Kundrati stands firm against the storm!
