In Legebiltzarra decree, the old state symbols are restored

In an Act of the Legebiltzarra passed today and signed by President Stansislav Herasymchuk today, the old symbols of the Kundrati state - and the name of the Kundrati Union - was restored to it's rightful place as the official symbols of Kundrati oncemore.

First, the flag of the Kundratis which was featured on the top of the headline. The flag, symbolic of the legitimate Kundrati state in Etxea before the Second Kundrati War, has been restored to it's rightful place as the official flag of Kundrati as a whole. The flag, being the flag of Kundrati before the Legionaries took over the state, was raised over the Legebiltzarra to the tune of the restored national anthem, the Song of the People that was also the anthem of the state in Etxea and the state before the Legionaries took over. Dimensions and specific colorings of the flag were also made clear in the bill of symbols.

The song link leads to a vocal version of the song. Only the tune itself with modified lyrics counts as the Song of the People.

The flag of the Kundratis was not the only thing that was restored. The symbol in the middle, the snake and rose, was also restored as the state seal of the Kundrati Union. A official state seal to be attached to documents will be made soon and presented to the public at once. As for symbols of the states themselves it will be up to the states on whether they will require a referendum or a contest to determine the state symbols or if they should stick to their old ones.

The date that the law will go into effect has been set for 1 January 5673.
