ROMULA - A day of sunshine, smiles, and sparkles that Romula will never forget: Imperial Grand Princess Eleonora married Marco Balestrieri, officially appointed Duke of Capranica Saliana by Emperor Thomas himself on the morning of the big day. A ceremony that combined the majesty of state with the most genuine romance, transforming the capital into a dreamlike stage.
The day began with the ducal investiture: Marco, visibly moved, received the title from the hands of the Emperor in a brief but solemn ceremony, applauded by his family and the first guests. Immediately thereafter, the Imperial family left Palazzo Quattroregni for the Basilica of All Angels, aboard state carriages, escorted by an elegant corps of mounted Imperial Guards, who led the way amid applause and flowers thrown by the crowds already gathered along the streets.Shortly afterward, the most anticipated moment arrived: Eleonora's exit. Radiant in a dress that combined baroque details with modern lines, the Princess left Palazzo Quattroregni in a carriage drawn by six white horses, escorted not only by the mounted Imperial Guard but also by a military retinue that added solemnity and rhythm to the procession.
