Police raid the royal palace after the Justice Commission announced the start of an investigation against the Tsarina, SCC & NGA to examine the case: probing the people's Tsarina
Rodashyam, Radin. Recently, the police forces of the confederal capitals of Rodashyam, Zoetergraaf, and Petrograd orchestrated raids against the residences and working offices of the Tsarina following the Nadiyan Commission for Justice and Governmental Transparency's announcement that it would investigate the Tsarina and her staff on charges of corruption, embezzlement of taxpayer funds, and money laundering. This comes after multiple staffers of the Tsarina were busted in an anti-speculation operation to shut down the last remaining black market financial institutions present on the blacklist of the Nadiyan Central Bank, the staffers were promptly arrested and an arrest warrant was published for the ones that refused to turn themselves in or outright resisted the investigation, the Tsarina herself was ordered to come back immediately from Altea and put under house arrest in Zoetergraaf while the investigation is still going. In addition, the other members of the Salvia royal family were investigated and questioned by the NCJGT. Still, they weren't arrested due to all of them not being involved with the ordeal, instead focused on maintaining their present jobs, such as former Tsarina Maria, who was called for an interrogation but left only 2 hours after, before going back to continue working her position as a professor for a local high school in Zoetergraaf. The corruption investigation has also seriously hurt the approval rating of the Tsarina by causing it to collapse from an excellent +24 to a catastrophic -17 while the percentage of Nadiyans wanting to restore a republican system jumped by 16% going from 33% to 49%, many took to the streets to call for the organization of a second constitutional convention or constituent assembly per mandated by the Nadiyan Constitution which states "The Constitution of the Confederation of Nadiyan Free Peoples and Nations shall revise and update the supreme law of the land through a constitutional convention according to the needs of the moderns times and as seen fit by the Supreme Cooperative Court with the approval of the General Assembly knowing that the maximum date between each convention is 50 years and the minimum one is 25 years. Yet only the people alone have the power to approve or reject any newly drafted constitution while being able to still choose if they want the confederacy to remain with the previous supreme laws." The confederacy itself will celebrate 50 years of existence in 5689 and some already want to revise the Nadiyan constitution because of the demands for further centralization of powers and the rise of Nadiyan nationalism which reflected in the collapse of pro-confederacy governments in Radin and Kozacchyna while Brakav is also expected to fall soon. Finally, the Supreme Cooperative Court and the Nadiyan General Assembly have both announced that they will monitor the investigation against the Tsarina and examine its legality because of judicial immunity being explicitly prohibited by the constitution but MPs of the Princesses and Tsarina Association of Nadiya still called for the NGA to vote on the matter because the ceremonial member of the diarchy has just been arrested and probbed, something that will most likely result in tensions with Egelion and other monarchies around Terra.
