The defense against social fascism remains critical as fascist states such as Beitenyu, like vultures, circle and prey on innocent nations. One of these nations is Istalia. Not only liberating itself from the tendrils of Beiteynu, but also from capitalism and the bourgeoisie. However, it remains threatened by the imperialists in Pontesi and Beiteynu. But we do not abandon our comrades. General-Secretary Pakshi has gone to Romula, to ensure further mutual cooperation and the defense of Istalia against reactionaries.

Comrade Pakshi met with Comrade Auro Casella, with several clear goals. Establishing stronger ties with Istalia, the defense of Istalia from counterrevolutionaries, and the liberation of the Majatran Proletariat. With the visit to Romula surely securing stronger ties, the question of defense has been laid out, and Xsampa will assist Istalia should it ever come under threat. Comrade Pakshi assured that the XDA would stand ready to ensure that Istalia is protected from fascism and imperialism. As the fascists in Beitenyu and Pontesi look to prey on nations seeking freedom, Xsampa shall do what it can to support and help these nations. Istalia is no different. Our comrades must be defended from reaction and imperialism. 

The defense of Istalia is paramount for not just the revolution, but anti-imperialism, the liberation of the Proletariat and for Self-Determination. Our comrades in Istalia will always have the support of Xsampa. As ties are deepened, the friendship between Xsampans and Istalians will only continue to thrive.

Comrade Pakshi has chosen to resign. After 2 and a half decades of dedicated service to Xsampa, Pakshi has resigned due to health reasons, and believing a new generation of revolutionaries must lead Xsampa. To that end, the Supreme Council, and the Party have nominated, and elected Comrade Wangchen. A New Socialist, Comrade Wangchen presents a new vision for Xsampa, and the Revolution. Comrade Wangchen has brought up three major points that will be enacted during his tenure as General-Secretary. These are as follows; Trickle Up Socialism, New Democracy and Collective Defense.

Collective Defense

As it stands, counterrevolutionaries and imperialists threaten Xsampa and our allies. We cannot sit idly by and let fascism spread and pollute our allies and the world. Comrade Pakshi set the stage for opposing imperialism. Comrade Wangchen will ensure that Xsampa can do so permanently. Xsampa must move to defend allies and defend from imperialism. The XDA is the instrument of defense. Xsampa lives or dies because of it. The XDA cannot be neglected. And we cannot neglect the needs of our allies. Imperialists have been given too much mercy. No more. Xsampa must be ready to defend her allies and strike at Imperialism. The defense of the Proletariat can no longer be held back.

Trickle Up Socialism

Whilst there exists the premise of trickle down economics, Comrade Wangchen has proposed Trickle Up Socialism, looking to improve quality of living for those at the bottom of society, and let their prosperity funnel up to support all of Xsampa. As such, efforts are planned to be made for expanding quality of living, and economic prosperity of those less fortunate. This will ensure that every Xsampan has a good quality of living. Whether it be welfare reforms, working to expand individual production or increasing economic security and development, trickle up socialism will ensure a better society for those less fortunate, and ultimately a better Xsampa.

New Democracy

Comrade Wangchen has proposed several new reforms to how Xsampa is operated. New Democracy will ensure that Xsampan democracy is preserved, protected and the best it possibly can be. Whether it be strengthening worker councils or reorganizing how the government is operated, New Democracy will set new heights for Xsampa. Comrade Wangchen has ambitious plans for developing a better Xsampa, and continuing where the April Spring stopped.

Ultimately, Comrade Wangchen has big plans, both to combat the enemies of Xsampa, and to elevate and develop home. Comrade Wangchen will certainly put the New in New Socialist. However, an important event is coming up, and it seems Comrade Wangchen will be the one to handle it. 5574 will mark 200 years of the Revolution, the Democratic Republic, and Xsampan Unification. Such an event will be widely celebrated and we cannot allow foreign imperialists to defile such an event. As 200 years comes close, we must remind ourselves of what's at stake, and what the enemy will take away should they prevail.

A Memoir of Hope; Support for revolutionaries across the globe must be expanded.

An ever so often tail we see across the world is the revolutionary despairing. Wailing in anguish, misery and sadness. They see a tsunami of insurmountable odds and raise their hands up, saying "nothing can be done". Xsampa disagrees. All it takes is a single revolutionary to change the world. All it takes is a single person to change history. All across the globe, we have seen changes. Nearly 200 years ago, it was a single revolutionary who laid the foundation for this democratic republic. A single revolutionary who lead the charge against feudalism, reaction and capitalism. Even elsewhere, it was a single revolutionary in Baltusia who decided that enough was enough. They fostered a revolution against fascism and led the nation to a new direction. Even for our religious comrades in Artania and Majatra, was it not a simple priest who has become worshiped by millions across those continents? All it takes is a single individual to bring massive change.

And for revolutionaries, that is the nature of our struggle for a better free world. We will be beaten down by fascists and imperialists. We will take hits. But we get up. Because we have no other choice. Because if not us, then who? That is the nature of the revolutionary. To struggle. All across the world, whether it be Artania, Majatra, Seleya, Keris, Makon, Dovani, Temania or Vascania, we see the sight of struggles. Revolutionaries will always struggle. That is the truth. But we must do what is necessary for the future. For a better world. Whether it be fighting the fascists in Beitenyu, or participating in the humane democracy of Dundorf, revolutionaries must continue the fight, no matter how many times they may fall.

To that end, Xsampa must take a new step forward. We support revolutionaries where we can, but what do we do when there are no more new ones? We make them. Xsampa will be a home to new revolutionaries. We must teach revolutionaries how to organize, fight and resist. We must teach revolutionaries to be the vanguard for the revolution. To that end, any and all revolutionaries fleeing persecution, or looking to learn how to organize and fight are welcome in Xsampa. We shall welcome them, we shall reach them, and inspire them. They all are welcome to Metz-Leonid, and we shall instruct and teach them. Whether it teaching them how to organize a workers party, or resist tyranny, they shall be supported by Xsampa. To that end, the International Metz School will be created. It matters not what ideals revolutionaries subscribe to. Whether it be Xsampan Socialism, Lourennais Socialism, Baltusian Syndicalism, Neo-Communism, Metzist-Leonidism, Kaminskism, or Democratic Socialism, we shall support them. IMS will teach them. 

We will foster new revolutionaries. We will support them, and teach them. Give them what they need. IMS will help them in learning how to organize the working class, how to fight against tyranny, and how to resist fascism. We may not able to give them hope. But we will give them the tools to build a better tomorrow. We will give them the tools to survive struggle. Even if a single revolutionary can learn from IMS, we will have done our part. Even a single revolutionary can change the world.

Xsampa denounces Temanian Eugenics Leaks; People's Committee of Foreign Affairs to no longer consider Temania an allied state.

Comrades, there lay a danger. Temania. It would appear fascism has corroded it's institutions and has plagued it. Leaks have come about for a new economic plan in Temania. One of cruelty, horror and bleakness. Between cramping the Proletariat into barracks to work endlessly, the most shocking thing from this leak is the possibility of a eugenics program. You heard that right comrade. Eugenics. Temania used to be an ally. Evidently we knew not how corrupt they have become. Corrupted and corroded by fascism, one has to ask. If this leak never came about, how long would Temania have hidden it's intents? The workers revolution in Temania has been sidelined and fascism has spread it's tendrils over the nation.

The People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has announced that Temania is no longer recognized as an allied state, and has instead been moved towards a hostile state, with a ReStRi Strike on the horizon due to the distance. The threat Temania poses to, not only Xsampa but the proletariat itself is immense. As of today, Temania is no longer recognized as a socialist nation. It is a fascist state. The mere fact that eugenics is considered has shown that Temania has long falled to fascism. 

Let it be known comrades, the Proletariat in Temania must rise up and free themselves from Temanian Fascism. Their facade of socialism must be exposed for what it is. Let it be known that Xsampa stands ready. Fascism this close to home cannot be tolerated. It cannot, and won't be. Xsampa stands ready to oppose Temanian fascism wherever it may dare to spread.

Redefining "Power to the Proletariat";  A reorganization of Xsampan institutions.

As the celebrations from Unification Day and May Day come to a conclusion, Comrade Wangchen has looked to begin work on redefining the power of the Proletariat. In specific, the worker councils and where they fit into society. As it stands, they are responsible for the election of legislators into the Supreme Council, who then elect the General-Secretary, the Central Committee, and the Commissioners of the People's Committee's. However, beyond that they don't do much. Comrade Wangchen has looked to redefine this and direct more power to the councils. So what can be done? Well, the first step is granting more power to the worker councils. They represent the workers, and ensure that Xsampa is actually governed by the Proletariat. As such, they will be granted more power. But what more power will they be able to have now?

Well, we will need to look to the April Spring comrade. The April Spring saw an explosion of new reforms for Xsampans. Chief among them was the right to strike. This was a major step, and has given the Proletariat more power. As such, it is time to begin opening up and allowing more independence for worker unions. Of course, any worker unions that are hostile to the Proletarian State, or sympathetic to liberalism will not be tolerated, but we shall begin efforts at seeing Xsampan worker unions given more liberties. In effect, this means the creation of an involved working class. A protected working class. The Party may act as the Vanguard of the Revolution, but perhaps it is time for the Proletariat to be given a role in preserving the Revolution. As such, another reform shall also be enacted. As it stands, only the Supreme Council has the right to impeach the General-Secretary should they turn on the Revolution. A safeguard from the Ladakh Era. Now, the worker councils will have that right. Should the Supreme Council fail to listen to the Proletariat, or refuse, then the worker councils will have the right to safeguard the Revolution and have the right to push an impeachment order onto the Supreme Council. This will not only grant more power to the Proletariat, but ensure more padlocks are put in place on Xsampan democracy, and the Revolution. This will ensure that it is safe from rogue actors who may seek to subvert the right of progress, humanity, and liberation.

However, reforms don't stop there. Comrade Wangchen has looked to create the People's Committee of Social Equality. The PCSE will have a single goal; Ensure every institution, both currently existing and new to exist are equitable and discrimination is purged. Whether it be equality between gender, races, sexual orientation, or identity. However. This People's Committee will have a mandate. To ensure the best capacity to fight inequality and discrimination, this People's Committee will have a mandate for those who have been victims of discrimination in the past. In essence, this is equal to what is considered Affirmative Action in the West. 

These reforms will lead Xsampa to a new era. An era of safeguarded democracy, a safe Revolution, and a more united Proletariat. While more reforms are planned, these efforts will be a good starting point from where the April Spring stopped. Whether it be empowering the Proletariat, or expanding equality, Xsampa must establish itself as a strong enemy to inequality and injustice.

Trade with Likatonia begins; Xsampa to show interests in Seleya economically.

As it stands, Xsampa is very specific about who it trades with. This is unlikely to change. But, every now and then, a rising state is able to show itself off to the world. Case in point, Likatonia. After some negotiations, the rising state in Northern Seleya and Xsampa will begin trading. Xsampa will provide Likatonia with Sulfur, Silicon and Diamonds. In exchange, Likatonia will provide Xsampa with valuable rare earth minerals. This trade deal has the possibility of beginning relations properly with Likatonia and could lay the framework for future cooperation. With that in mind, there is a possibility of expanding Xsampan interests in Seleya. As it stands, there only lay a few allied states. Out of all Seleyan states, there lay only 2 allied states in Seleya. As such, expanding relations with Seleyan nations will be invaluable, both to benefit Xsampa and help nations. Likatonia is the first step.

Trading with Likatonia opens the door to future cooperation, both with Likatonia and other Seleyan nations. Irregardless as Likatonia receives shipments of diamonds, silicon and sulfur, Xsampa having access to shipments to REMs will certainly be valuable. As Likatonia is the first step towards establishing relations in Seleya, perhaps more relations can be established with Likatonia and other nations. But for now, trading will benefit both nations.

Celebrating 200 years of Unification, and Communist rule; Unification and May Day celebrations across the country.

Every May is a month of celebration across Xsampa. May 1st being International Workers Day, often shortened to May Day, and May 2nd, Unification Day, which saw the unification of North and South Xsampa into one. But today makes it more special. Today marks 200 years of Unification, and 200 years of communist rule. Celebrations, parades and festivals have been occuring all across the country in celebration for both events, especially for Unification Day. 200 years ago, Xsampa was divided, and irrelevant to the world. But 2 centuries later, Xsampa has built itself up, has begun putting itself onto the world stage and shown itself as worthy of being recognized. This is only one of many things being celebrated today. 

Metz-Leonid saw the most major of celebrations, with a military parade even being held. As national pride soars through the day, Comrade Wangchen has offered his thoughts on this momentous day.

Today is a day of great value to us. Today, marks 200 years of unification. 200 years of shared solidarity. 200 years of a united people. 200 years of the Proletariat being liberated. On this day, we stand united in joy, in pride, and in solidarity with one another. 200 years ago, our nation was struggling. Isolated. Within those 200 years, we have overcome many challenges. Poverty. Illiteracy. Reaction. We celebrate overcoming these challenges, and emerging better than ever before. Now, we stand together, united as one people. The Proletariat has been freed, and we celebrate 200 years of freedom, of a unified people. We have had many bumps along the road to a golden future, but we have not stopped. We have not stopped the march for a better future. As we celebrate this day, we must always remember that we are forever united as one people.

With many Xsampans celebrating today, and national pride soaring, Comrade Wangchen is right. Xsampa will forever remain united. Never again will the crime of division ever occur in Xsampa. We stand united as one people, one nation. Whether it be towards a better future, or against our enemies, we stand united. As today is a day of joy, celebration and unity, let the people of Xsampa know only joy and easiness today. Let the Proletariat of Xsampa remain united forever, happy and free.

Xsampa addresses the recent pirate-oil tanker incident; Urges rationality from Yishelem as XDAN is put on alert.

A recent situation has occured Southwest of Vascania. The well known Vamaj Network remains a cornerstone of global trade with oil. It would seem however, that a tanker came under attack from pirates. While normally, this wouldn't be of major concern to Metz-Leonid, and would most likely be something for Vascania to resolve, the oil tanker has had the unfortunate fate of from Beiteynu. Ever so protective of Yeudi lives, the homeland state has begun negotiations with Lourenne to ensure trade is protected. This normally wouldn't be an issue. However, there is a rumour flying about. The possibility of a military base. The mere possibility is a threat to Xsampa as it ensures Xsampa will be locked to the Sovereign Sea.

While it is a possibility, it is one of extreme risk to Metz-Leonid. Even if it is a rumour, efforts must be done to be ready for such a possibility. As such, the People's Committee of Revolutionary Defense has announced that the XDAN will be put on alert due to a potential Zaar Fleet deployment to the region. As such, the navy is getting ready and while no deployments will be authorized, it is likely to occur should this situation escalate. However, the Last Resort Doctrine has given some stretching ground for non military actions. The People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has scrambled to address the situation, and the Zaar Fleets.

It is recognized that every state has the undeniable right to defend its interests, and people. However, in this situation, it is urged that Yishelem take rationality. It is urged that Yishelem reconsider the deployment of a Zaar Fleet to the region, and instead promote diplomacy and working with local nations to help ensure a speedy rescue of the stranded tanker. The quick resort to military means has proven to be worrying, both to international and regional peace. We urge Yishelem to reconsider, and instead work with local nations to ensure the best outcome for all.

As the tanker in question is isolated and stranded, the deployment of a Zaar Fleet is sure to see stronger concerns. While it is understood that pirates are a threat to rescue efforts, the deployment of a Zaar Fleet, and the possibility of a military base has shown that this may be more than just a rescue option. As the XDAN gets ready for the worst, diplomatic channels remain open. The question of if a ReStRi Strike is issued remains in the air, and depends on what happens in the coming weeks.

Xsampa rescues Yeudis stranded in Southwest Vascania; Yeudis to be given medical care and shelter.

The recent situation in Southwest Vascania has taken a new turn, as the calls for humanitarianism have prevailed. A portion of the XDAN has been mobilized, with an explicit goal of search and rescue. The Yeudi Tanker has been stranded for a considerable while now without help. No one else is able to adequately help, except us. So, efforts began only a week ago to rescue these poor stranded souls. While the tanker itself can't be saved, the souls onboard can, and efforts have been made to do so. Upon the rescue fleet returning to Xsampa, these Yeudis will arguably be the first Yeudis to step foot on Xsampan soil. Despite the misdeeds of their home state, they will not be punished, nor will they be harmed. Instead, they will be given proper care. Warm beds, clean water, medical care, food. They will be welcomed and given support.

While the tanker is left behind, the question of an eventual return has been raised. While officially, there is no statement so far on that manner, what is made clear is that no harm is to come to these survivors. They will be treated as foreign guests in Gramdkarpo. The rescue fleet itself will be commemorated for their efforts in saving the Yeudis, and while the tanker is unable to be salvaged and saved, at least the people onboard are safe and sound. They will be protected in Gramdkarpo. 

Being the first Yeudis to step foot on Xsampan soil however, they are making history, both as the firsts, and as a display of human goodwill. They will be provided with warm beds, a roof over their head, clean water, food and medical care. They are guests, and we must show them that the power of the Proletariat isn't violence and vengeance, but compassion and kindness. Perhaps this effort can lead to a new page between Xsampa and Beitenyu as these Yeudis will be able to show that not everyone from Beiteynu is a fascist imperialist. Irregardless, they will be sheltered, cared for and protected.
