Cultural Protocol Updates
#21
(18-01-2025, 06:05 PM)Doc Wrote: Request to Port the CP.

I think I can recreate it from the Wikipedia, but I don't have access to edit the Cultures group

Here's the Wikipedia   https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Demog...f_Kalistan

I think this has changed since this time slightly, but mostly in the language and religion categories.

And I want to check to make sure that the cultures still reflect what is ingame cannon, but for the most part, I think this is sort of right, and if I can get access to the forum to put it in the right format, I think I can recreate this

Approved (Mbites tagged me to handle this).

Generally no worries, once/if PT Classic is back, we'll all revert to the bills to double-check what we ported on the forums.

I'd like a request on flexibility per region in Baltusia. (Or the creation of another country-entity).

(OOC: "we" don't have any single southamerican, or Southern Cone equivalent; According to the list of protocols; we have 2 american, 1 mexican, 1 caribbean but nothing remotely south of that; and even in SA you can cut lines all around for a lot of cultural sources for protocols....) [Or a change in the map to include something?].
Though Baltusia is protected in Classic list: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-118.html but not protected in the legacy directory: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-248.html

[Still we have 4 french and 5 germans]

So I'd like to know the extension of the protection in this case.
Because the protocol is lost in the old forum, I guess by some of the flag it'd be like... SouthWest-American...
Which has little sense since one of the regions is Santiago, and in the wiki the capital is San Luis, which is Santiago de Chile... (Yes, Even I can see *MY* apartment from this view https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/San_L...n_Luis.jpg).

So... any minimal chance of doing a Southern cone RP?
(For reference, this is southern cone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_C...ensity.png )

Or, if Baltusia is heavy locked into the "USA", any other nation? (According to the Protocol list (the classic one), none of them... so a chance to create one?).

===
Edit: Going around thinking this... scratch the idea of changing the Baltusian protocol... I formally request the creation of a Southern Cone equivalent nation, and I'll be happy to create the whole history of it based in RL + Some of my old stories. (Will probably change a bit of Egelion one so they don't get mixed up).
You guys say it's impossible or plain no. I'm dropping Baltusia and maybe I'll RP as the Terran equivalent of FIFA, based on this: (Yes, this is blatanly, advertisement if anyone wants to join this idea: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-189-post-...ml#pid4904

If you're interested in a southern cone nation, Tukarali is a nation based on Portuguese culture, often resembling Brazil.
