After efforts to rescue the Yeudis stranded on the tanker found success, they have largely been kept in Gramdkarpo and provided with care. However, it was clear from the start that this was not permanent. And it seems, the decision has been made to send them on their way to Eroncourt, where from there, Lourennais authorities will transfer them back home to Yishelem. Due to existing tensions between Xsampa and Beiteynu, directly going from Gramdkarpo to Yishelem is impossible. So, Lourenne will have to act as a middle man to ensure a safe transfer.

The ramifications of the rescue is yet to be seen. The door for reconciliation is there, but it is unlikely due to the nature of Yishelem. Whatever the case, this rescue may show the world that Xsampa does have humanitarian values. Irregardless, this most likely will not ease the tensions between Xsampa and Beiteynu, as expected of a fascist state. But what's sure is that, these Yeudis will certainly have an interesting story to tell once they get home. Being the first Yeudis on Xsampan soil, they made history for better or worse.

With these Yeudis on the next plane out of Xsampa, they have received medical care and support during their brief stay in Xsampa. As they leave towards Eroncourt, Xsampans can take confidence in knowing that humanitarian values are valued in our Proletarian Haven.

Xsampa begins patrols in the Sovereign Sea; Denounces imperialism on Southern Dovani as First ReStRi Strike is announced.

It would seem goodwill has failed. Yishelem cares not for humanitarianism or good standards. We must react accordingly to their blatant imperialism encroaching upon Dovani. The XDAN has been mobilized to begin patrols in the Sovereign Sea to ensure imperialist efforts don't enter the sea. These patrols will ensure that Xsampa can adequately defend the Sovereign Sea and hopefully act as a counterweight to the increasing amount of imperialistic patrols that Beiteynu is enacting in the South. Dovani cannot be imperialized again, and Xsampa will do what it must to defend Dovani.

As it stands, the base is likely to be constructed in Vascania. This is a tremendous threat to Xsampa and Southern Dovani. It is clear that our goodwill rescue from the tanker has fallen on deaf ears. And it is clear that they will go on with this threat to peace. As such, the People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has announced that Beiteynu will formally receive its first ReStRi Strike. For being a threat to the region, peace, Dovani and imperialism in the region, a ReStRi Strike has been given. Only the first phase, but it's clear that Xsampa must do something if Beiteynu is to be stopped. The Navy will begin efforts to challenge the imperialistic tendrils and ensure that the Sovereign Sea is safe. Once that is accomplished, efforts can potentially begin on challenging the existence of the base.

It's clear any attempt at dialogue will fail. The rescue attempt showed that Yishelem has no interest in protecting its people, and instead has the only goal of imperializing Dovani. Xsampa will oppose this imperialism on our front door, and we will not let another Rapa Crisis repeat itself and be locked into the Sovereign Sea. These patrols will be but the first step in countering the imperialistic nature of Beiteynu.

With recent tensions between Xsampa and Beiteynu remaining high, there have been many worries over the possibility of war. It seems our comrades in Zardugal have chosen to make efforts at preventing a war and have offered mediation efforts. With the Jelbic Empire accepting the mediation efforts, all eyes have been on Metz-Leonid and whether it would accept the efforts or reject them outright. After much deliberation, Comrade Wangchen has chosen to accept the efforts, believing peace can be maintained and a peaceful resolution can come about to the ongoing crisis.

As such, there are hopes that the concerns regarding the base can be resolved diplomatically and peacefully. While tensions remain high, and the XDAN maintains patrols in the Sovereign Sea, the chance of peace will depend on how the meditation efforts go and if they succeed. Depending on what compromises are made, both sides can walk away with victories and peace in mind. Whether negotiations can succeed is in the air but the fact they are available is relief to many.

If negotiations are successful, we can ensure peace in the Sovereign Sea, and repel imperialism from Dovani. We can only hope that Yishelem is willing to make concessions for the greater good. If not, Xsampa stands ready to fight imperialism.

Xsampa addresses war in Majatra and Wrnuke leaving Zardugal Mediation Talks; Concerns over the Vascanian Base remain high.

Majatra has gone to war. Our comrades in Istalia has sought out to bring down the reactionary state of Pontesi and Kafuristan. The situation however is volatile and, various states have given their responses to the situation. Our comrades in Lourenne have responded with an embargo on all three states due to the war, whilst the Jelbic Empire has urged for Pontesi to invoke Article 4e, which it has yet to do. The People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has released a brief statement on the crisis.

It is recognized that the current crisis in Majatra is extremely volatile. We urge for Pontesi and Kafuristan to see reason. This war will only lead to ruin, and human suffering. We recognize that the United Kingdom of Lourenne has chosen to embargo Pontesi, Kafuristan and Istalia in an attempt to punish all three states. While Xsampa does disagree with the embargo on Istalia, we recognize that efforts to prevent more damage in the region are limited. Xsampa will continue to observe the situation and do what it can to help ensure this conflict is short and suffering is minimal.

However, as the war rages on, Wrnuke has chosen to back away from Mediation Talks in Zardugal regarding the Vascanian Base. This has been reason for alarm, and the XDAN has maintained its alertness in the Sovereign Sea, as it seems any chances of de-escalation are slim. As such, the Comrade Wangchen has issued a simple request to Yishelem; leave the region and end all operations on the base. 

With the base being a major point of contention, and a major threat to not only Xsampa but the freedom of Dovani. Therefore, it must be dismantled or at the very least, Beiteynu and the Jelbic Empire must leave. The imperialization of Dovani cannot be tolerated. The XDAN is ready to defend Dovani, and the offer for an olive branch regarding the base is still in the air, but it's evident that imperialists will not negotiate. Not with words. Only through the barrel of a gun. Should Yishelem refuse to negotiate, then there may be little other choices.

Comrades. Midnight is upon us. The fascist state of Beiteynu has refused to cooperate. They have ignored all pleas of rationality, and all efforts at diplomacy. They have remained steadfast in constructing a base in the Vascanian Sea and subjugating Dovani. The People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has formally issued a Second ReStRi Strike. It's become abundantly clear that diplomacy has failed. Unfortunately. The effort of peace has failed. As Majatra goes to war with itself, it seems easy to understand why they refuse to negotiate now. The concept of peace is foreign to them. And now they dare bring imperialism and war to Dovani. 

Comrade Wangchen sent a simple request earlier in January; end the base. Such a simple request, one that would've guaranteed peace in Dovani. At every occasion, Xsampa has sought to give the olive branch. Rescuing stranded Yeudis, accepting mediation talks. At every opportunity, Yishelem has refused and dug their heels in the sand. The extent of diplomacy has been reached. The XDAN has received orders to move into the Vascanian Sea. If Yishelem won't remove the base, a clear threat to Dovanian peace, stability and development, then we will have to do it ourselves. The XDAN has strict orders to not fire unless engaged, and has been given orders to not get close to the base. It is hoped that pressure will finally encourage Yishelem to give up their futile efforts at imperialism. Should any XDAN vessel be fired upon, they reserve the right to return fire. Comrade Wangchen has been merciful and patient with Yishelem. This is arguably the last chance for Yishelem to act as an adult and begin negotiations. The base will go. No matter what. Whether by pen or gun, that is for Yishelem to decide.

In these worrying times, comrades, we must stand firm and united together against the forces of reaction, fascism and imperialism. Xsampa must not falter in keeping Dovani free of fascist influence. If not us, who else? If Yishelem decides to maintain the current, the XDAN is ready to defend Dovani from imperialism. Stormy days may be ahead, but we have survived many crises before. We will survive this one and push fascism out of Dovani.
