I would like to request the above is adopted as the new cultural protocol of Solentia. For reference, here is the current cultural protocol: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-298.html

I have not made any significant changes to the demographics of the country. The update primarily simplifies the document. I have renamed the Ashker group to "Solentian Turjak", in light of the changes to the culture of Utari Mosir (now Utaristan).

I opened a feedback thread on this last week, and received no response from anybody.

Hi!

I think its high time we need to update the cultural protocols of Mordusia. I'm planning for some internal RP that focusses on the differences within the borders of Mordusia, especially the centuries of exposure to the Canrille culture, migration with my southern neighours and assymiliation and adaption that happened in Voissain.

So these are The current cultural protocols of Mordusia and I want to change them to this:

Quote:--- OVERVIEW ---

Mordusia is a country in South Seleya and is based on Australia and New Zealand. Throughout its history it has had close cultural and diplomatic relations with Luthori, who colonised it as a settler colony and Canrillais neighbours, especially Alduria.

--- ETHNICITY ---

Mordusia is populated mostly by Mordusians from Artanian decent. Their ancestors mostly came from Luthori and Beluzia. A significant part of the ethnic makeup of the province of Voisain is Canrillaise or the mixed ethnic group of Luthorian Mordusians and Canrillaise, the Voisainais. There is also a minority group living all over the country, the Ipki people, who are the indiginous people of the land prior to Luthorian colonisation.

> Mordusians (European Australians) - 80%
--- Luthorian Mordusians (English speaking Australians) - 70%
--- Voisainaise / Voisain Mordusians (Bilingual Australians (French/English) - 9%
> Canrillaise (French) - 5%
> Ikpi (Aboriginal Australians) - 9%
> Duntrekker (Afrikaner) - 2%
> Aldegarian (Persian) - 1%
> Other - 3%

--- Religion ---

Mordusia is a Hosian country with the vast majority of people believing in the Hosian faith or raised in the Mordusian/Canrillais hosian influenced cultures. Most Mordusians of Artanian decent are part of the Luthorian Church, the people of Canrillais decent or mixed decent in Voisain are Aurorian Hosians. The Duntrekkers, some Ikpi peoples are Restored Ameliorate. The Yazdists form the biggest non-Hosian religious minority. Most Ikpi people and Aldegarians follow this faith. Ikpi people's mix this faith with traditional practises and ancestor worship.

> Hosianism (Christianity) - 71%
--- Luthorian Church of Mordusia (Anglicanism) - 51%
--- Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Catholicism) - 14%
--- Restored Ameliorate Church (Calvinist) - 3%
> No religion - 23%
> Yazdism (Zoroastrianism) - 6%
> Yeudism (Judaism) - 1%
> Other religions - 3%

- - - LANGUAGE - - -

Luthorian (English) is the de facto national language of Mordusia. The variety of English spoken and written in Mordusia is known as Mordusian Luthorian (Australian English). There are also some speakers of Canrillaise (French), majorly spoken by Canrillaise and Voisainaise themselves, they live mostly in the province of Voisain.

I'd like to update the Kalistani CP to reflect a more realistic distribution of cultural influence in the "Kalistani" cultural designation.

Current:

Quote:Kalistani / 91%
The following cultures influence the "Kalistani Ethnic Identity" in the following quantities (roughly speaking):
(Artanian Based)
» Luthori (British/English)- 29%
» Pensio (Spanish)- 21%
» Enskalan (Basque)- 17%
» Istalian (Italian)- 10%
» Canrillaise (French)- 8%
» Narik (Dutch) 4%
» Dundorfian (German)- 2%

Proposed Change:

Quote:Kalistani / 91%
The following cultures influence the "Kalistani Ethnic Identity" in the following quantities (roughly speaking):
(Artanian Based)
» Luthori (British/English)- 29%
» Gaduri (Spanish)- 21%
» Dundorfian (German)- 17%
» Istalian (Italian)- 10%
» Canrillaise (French)- 8%
» Narik (Dutch) 4%
» Lurrian/Enskalan (Basque)- 2%

Enskalan was an interlude in Kalistan which I never fully retconned, but instead just RPed out of it, so it still is listed in the Hall of Continuity. But I think more closely match the demographic of the western US in general, Dundorfian should have a much larger influence, while still allowing me to recognize the old RP involving the Enskalan/Lurrian Basque piece.

I would like to update Dolgava's CP to better reflect geographic differences, and to bring it to the modern age of RP so to speak. I put alot of thought into this, and as someone who has spent significant time in Dolgava, I think this will better enhance RP and Dolgava into the future. I changed some things to help things make sense as well as help give locations for each culture to call home so to speak. As it stood, having the Estonian population (which is vastly different to the rest of the Baltic states, due to language), being on the mainland of Dolgava made little sense. So here are the proposed changes.

I did a bit of housekeeping as well, changing Karzonian to be the Estonian ethnic group, and thus putting them on Karzon, which can be distinct from the rest of Dolgava. I also updated the  Belorussian to Krivian to match with more recent RP done.

I also got rid of the Luthorian population in Dolgava, as it makes zero sense, and hasn't been Roleplayed for as long as I have been in Dolgava, or as far as the old forum archives went. I used up that 2.5% to boost the Dolgavan population, as well as the Karzonian population, and the Krivian population

Current:
Quote:D E M O G R A P H I C S
Dolgavans (Latvians) :: 40%
Hulstro-Dolgavians (Baltic Germans, Dundorfian) :: 30% - based primarily around Fürstenau
Azkulians (Lithuanians) :: 10% - based primarily in Dosne
Valgrivan (Estonian) :: 5% - based primarily around Valgriva
Karzonian (Latgalian) :: 5% - Primarily on the island of Karzon
Beloyuzhni (Belorussian) :: 2.5% - based primarily around Trigrad
Manoush (Gypsies) :: 2.5% - spread through Dolgavia
Luthorians (English) :: 2.5%
Other :: 2.5%

Proposed:
Quote:D E M O G R A P H I C S
Dolgavans (Latvians) :: 41%,
Hulstro-Dolgavians (Baltic Germans, Dundorfian) :: 30% - based primarily around Fürstenau and Ebenzing,
Azkulians (Lithuanians) :: 10% - based primarily in Dosne and spread throughout the country,
Valgrivan (Latgalian) :: 4% - based primarily around Valgriva and spread throughout the country (most consider themselves to be Dolgavan ethnically),
Karzonian (Estonian) :: 6% - Primarily on the island of Karzon,
Krivians (Belorussian) :: 3.5% - based primarily around Trigrad,
Manoush (Romani/Gypsies) :: 3% - spread through Dolgava
Other (including a exclave of  Canrillaise from Lourenne in Aikums as well as a significant population of Hutorians) :: 2.5%

Religion and languages and all the other stuff is staying the same
Keeper of everything Dolgava

In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.ph...63#p145764), Pontesi is a "culturally protected" country. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the country must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name.

--OVERVIEW--

Pontesi is based primarily on Armenia. The majority of the population is Arev Mardik (Armenian) and in Luthorian the term "Pontesian" is often used specifically to refer to this group. The second-largest group in the country is Seluco-Pontean (Roman Armenian) people. Among this group, there are many who identify as being both Seluco-Pontean and Arev Mardik.

Jelbic people arrived and settled in Pontesi over five thousand years ago, arriving from northern Seleya. Unlike many other in-game groups, the Jelbic people do not have a single real-life equivalent. Jelbic culture is based on aspects of various Eurasian peoples. The most important influences are Turkic peoples, Mongol peoples and Uralic peoples. Jelbic people speak a fictional, constructed language (see below for more information on language). Jelbic people are divided into particular ethnic groups. In Pontesi, the two most significant groups are Pnték people and Brmék people. Each group speaks a distinct dialect of the Jelbic language.

--ETHNICITY--

» Pontesian or Arev Mardik (Armenian)- 52%
» Seluco-Pontean (Roman Armenian)- 26%
» Jelbic (see above)- 13%
-- Pnték- 10%
-- Brmék- 3%
» Yeudi (Jew)- 5%
> Narikutons&Darnussians 2%
» Other- 2%

--RELIGION--

Within the structure of the Aurorian Patriarchal Church, Pontesi is part of the Patriarchate of the East and uses the Pontesian (Armenian) rite. Feminism is a fictional form of polytheistic animalism based on the divinity of cats.

» Hosianism (Christianity)- 72%
-- Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Armenian Catholic Church)- 42%
-- Terran Patriarchal Church (Eastern Orthodox Church with aspects of Slavic mythology)- 30%
» Religio Seluciana (Roman Polytheism)- 14%
» Felinism (see above)- 8%
» Yeudism (Judaism)- 3%
» No religion- 2%
» Other- 1%

--LANGUAGE--

Pontesian (Armenian) is the most widely-spoken language in the country and it is the first language of the overwhelming majority of Arev Mardik (Armenian) people. It is also the first language of most Seluco-Pontean (Roman Armenian) people but a significant minority speak Selucian (Latin).

Pnték is a constructed language that draws inspiration from a number of real-life languages. The syntax and grammar of the language is based on Japanese. The vocabulary is drawn from various languages, including Czech, Dutch, German, Slovak and the Turkic languages. For information about the language, please consult the “Expanded Jelbic Dictionary” bill (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.p...lid=387061) and the “Jelbic Dictionary” wiki page (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Jelbic_Dictionary). Ethnic minority groups generally speak their native languages, such as Majatran (Arabic), Deltarian (Serbo-Croatian) and Augustan (Esperanto).

sorry to bother the mods. I want to request a small change in the culture protocol of Pontesi. As a start for future changes. in the request i want to decrease the jelbic population with 4%, add 2% to the yeudi population and 2% to new population for pontesi, narikutons and Darnussia.

i have roleplayed a lot with yeudi's and Amudim is a longlasted ally of Pontesi with a lot of roleplay between eachother, while also roleplaying a lot of the economy interwinned with the neset, wich motivated more yeudis to come into pontesi. Also with Narikuton&Darnussia, a long lasted ally of pontesi, now also with a lot of cooperation between the 2 nations and Thaller-Siran as one of the biggest companies in pontesi, it could be assumed that N&D people could have migrated towards pontesi with the same reasoning as the yeudi's.

Sorry for the late answer to this request. This is approved
