Somewhere, Desert Bank, Beiteynu - 8 March 5557, 07:19

Temperature was already reaching 36 degrees; and the scenery, oh my. Aridness and hotness, the unparalleled smoothness of the Holy Land. The mountains of Pontesi lay on the far East, barely visible. Or where they the Karkaari, to the West? Or the Karkaari's trailing tips towards Amshinov, to the North?

It mattered not - the beautiful scenery was broken by the extravagant minimalism of a luxurious white villa, its massive pool shining beneath the rising sun. He signalled and his men removed their black hoods. They squinted their eyes, looking bewildered and dishevelled.

He gestured towards a lavish breakfast and offered the couple two glasses of dripping cold ice tea.

And then he smiled with a grin so wide and inviting at the wonders of the Neset laid before them.

-

International Airport, San Luis, Baltusia - 7 March 5557, 15:41

It was a risk operating with the syndicalists around, but Yishelem had decided to be arrogant.

A man stood idly at a column, pretending to read a magazine; toothpick in his mouth. A hippie looking Kalistani-Yeudi, messed hair, pilot sunglasses, the whole package of nonchalantness. He looked like he smelled and he definitely did. An Agafim contact passed by him and slightly brushed his shoulder.

Showtime.

He whispered "kadima (forward)" to his earpiece and started walking towards the Xsampan couple that the Agafim had targeted as medium-level influencers in that godforsaken government in godforsaken South Dovani. They looked like tourists alright, but seemed very cautious at the same time.

He followed them as they exited the terminal, looking for a taxi.

They tried to ride the wrong one and he immediately jumped in and took the cab.

They tried another wrong one; yet another Agafim agent grabbed it at the last minute.

Finally, they took the third one. The right one.

And the Luthorian-Yeudi agent of the Agafim greeted them, packed their bags in the trunk and drove off with the two Xsampans.

The shock for the king

4 december 5557 17:42 at the royal palace in Melikvan

The king is standing in front of the window looking outside when his thoughts are disturbed by the minister of defense, Areg Pntekyan, who received more information on who is behind the breach of the Vahanakar.

Areg Youre majesty, my apologies for disturbing you

Aris leave the formalities aside, tell me!

Areg i've got message of the Yeudish bureau of investigation, it was the CSS, the secret intelligence of Xsampa who was behind it. They wanted to hurt Beiteynu and as they couldn't reach beiteynu, they

The king interupts Areg and says tried to use us against beiteynu, smart. Don't say anything outside the Bazmuyut! I have to think, leave me! Angry about recent events, he goes back towards the window, moment he sees Areg leaving the room, there forms a devious smile on his face....

More than a simple explosion...

Abandoned Void Station

"Fuck where is that tape, Annie told me to get it for her," Velimir says while pushing aside some of the still burning debries of the bunker door he had to blow up in order to get this low inside the station, his goal was simple: assess the success of their bombing operation on the station and find the tape. He then walked into a room that smelled so fucking awful it managed to get through his gas mask, but even the smell didn't deter him as he then located the corpse of a scientist sitting at their desk in front of a computer, he finally found it, his holy grail, the tape. Velimir yanked the tape out of the new decomposed body before putting it in his bag. "Annie, I found it. Just don't forget to release the agent, do you understand?" He says through his talkiewalkie while looking at the dead body, "I'm not mentally challenged, dumbass. Also the agent was released into the Solmograd water distribution system, expect a total infection of the region in the matter of days." Annie replied back before cutting communication, Velimir let's out a long sigh as he then noticed that the room he was in was located behind a one way mirror for a test room but the mirror was covered by biohazard warnings, yet how he tried taking them off, they didn't want to cooperate. Velimir didn't give up though because he needed to see what was so bad that even a one way mirror had to be covered up, he left the room and walked to the next door, he struggled pushing the door but when he did, all he heard was the bones cracking of multiple dead bodies stacked up against the door as if he trying to escape something, and that something is apparently a dead body holding a knife with massive inscriptions written on the wall that say "Yoashi's blessing is here". "Annie I think we unleashed the apocalypse."

The cargo plane was being stocked. Kundrati Defense Contractors had received an order from the Kundrati Government to begin shipping arms "to the East." The crew did not know the destination; only the pilots did, and they were sworn to secrecy on pain of death. The pilots worked for the Kundrati Air Force, and the workers who were stocking the ammo and equipment were part of the Kundrati Army based at a nearby military base.

The plane was stocked with KU 800 BRENs and related ammunition. In addition to these weapons, communications equipment, and satellite Internet equipment provided by ArtSat were also present.
The plane was colored in a regular cargo airline's livery to evade suspicion.

Once everything was stocked, the doors closed. Three men joined the pilots as passengers since once they got to their destination, they would've had to help unload the contents. The plane closed up and began to move towards the runway, taking off soon after.

A few hours later, they would've had to land in Dankuk for a quick refueling stop. From there, it was an easy flight south.

To Xsampa.

AllComm Center, Amshinov, North Bank, Beiteynu - 10 July 5558

The monitor blipped; a southbound plane was about to enter Xsampan airspace coming in from the north and turning slightly eastward. Unlike that mysterious jet that had its ATC data wiped in Vanuku a while back, the plane's identification popped on the screen.

The operator turned to another screen and inputted the data: inbound from Baeguk.

-

Agafim HQ, Yishelem, Beiteynu - 14 July 5558

The Director put the report on the table - the flight did not seem cargo related, the way it was routed on the ground in Xsampa. None of the regular inbound air-traffic cargo routes from abroad, which thankfully were not that many considering Xsampan's distaste for global trade.

Analysts were unable to trace it to known entities moving goods to Xsampa.

He stared at his desk for a good two minutes. Then he immediately picked up his phone and pressed #1 - speed dial for the Agafim's best friend: the Medinat Department.

Anna Kadiyot picked up.

-

Sato Facilities, Bannerhafen, Narikaton and Darnussia - 15 July 5558

She may have felt unease, but she held her ground as the Xsampans inspected the Yeudicho IRBM on display. One of the Xsampan scientists was engaged in deep technical conversation with the lead engineer from NarikMissile Co. A silent figure stood several feet away, unmoving. She knew perfectly well that the Deputy Director of the Agafim was X-raying the entire scene.

Eventually the Xsampans shook hands with the Dual Republicans. She herself simply nodded to the only Xsampan who cast a scathing look at her.

The Deputy Director left as if he had disappeared by magic, with no sound.

-

Wiel, Vanuku - 16 July 5558

"You saw the missiles, you already have the schematics of the USSB 54; you get 108 of them if you tell me whose plane that was."

The Xsampan gruntled; "not here".

-

Remote beach, West Bank, Beiteynu - 17 July 5558

It was not the Deputy Director of the Agafim meeting the Xsampan contact this time.

It was the Head of the Medinat Dpt. herself, Anna Kadiyot: "what was that plane".

The Xsampan hesitated.

"Guns, weapons".

"Who sent it". Silence, but the crashing of the waves on the black rocks.

"Kundrati".

The same pilots who left for Xsampa were told to return for another mission, and another crew would be sent.

The order came in from Kasaema again, though it would only be weapons this time. Reportedly, the destination also had access to Allink, which would make communications supplies redundant. More KU 800 BRENs and ammo, alongside some army knives and pistols, would be sent. Some rations would also be sent.

The plane was loaded as usual; the three passengers at the Xsampa mission would sit in the passenger seats, and the plane would take off.

They would maintain radio silence once they left Kundrati airspace. Instead of going east, however, they were going south.

A few hours later, they spotted Pontesian land.

IBSI and Kundrati intelligence were monitoring Leo Ingleton. Head honcho of the pro-"democracy" forces in Kalistan, Ingleton was the top suspect to capture, obviously being the leader and the man with the highest fame in the movement.

Ingleton, for months, had been in hiding, roaming around Kalistan. Of course, the pro-"democracy" insurgents fell to Kalistani and Kundrati forces. The insurgents revealed information about their command structure, how they operated, supply locations, and more. Using that information, there were some educated guesses over where Ingleton could be. Teams would be sent to these locations, and while they would find some insurgents hiding, they wouldn't find Ingleton.

Until now.

Ingleton had been in hiding, but he was a recognizable face. An old retired lady had spotted him, in disguise, at a bingo club in Neveras. His disguise was shoddy, given how long he'd been hiding and how few his supplies were coming towards. Ingleton didn't know he'd been spotted, though he did shout bingo.

An emergency services call would be forwarded to the IBSI a few minutes later. Forces were sent. A few minutes afterward, the bingo club was stormed.

Ingleton would run as fast as he could, and he did make it out via a back exit, but he was shot at least twice in the leg by a passing officer.

Soon enough, he was taken in a specialized police wagon to a nearby hospital.

When he arrived at the hospital, the IBSI and Kundrati intelligence sent some of their agents to talk to him. They were led by Kalistani's Alan Stallion and Kundrati's Ezekel Bastarrarena. Troops and police surrounded the hospital to secure the area just in case, and hospital personnel were forbidden from even entering the unit Ingleton was at. Workers in said unit were forbidden from entering Ingleton's room without permission.

S(tallion) and B(astarrarena) entered I(ngleton)'s room. They would interrogate him from there.

Quote:S: Ingleton. How are you?

I: You didn't have to shoot me in the leg.

S: We had to. You were running. It was obvious your little stunt was going to kill you.

I: Sure.

B: You're responsible for initiating a civil war in Kalistan. Your troops were defeated. Your attempt at democracy, your tiny stunt, is over. Luckily Kalistan doesn't have the death penalty, but we could send you to another country and just shoot you there.

I: Is that a threat?

B: If you don't tell us what you know, maybe.

I: But I don't know anything.

S: You know, those bullets are still stuck in your leg. Those IV tubes are stabilizing you, but it is blocking them from removing those bullets.

I: Hah. You're really going to knock my IV out?

B: No. Not that.

I: I don't know anything.

B: Bullshit. The leader of democracy doesn't know the insurgency that he led. How does that make sense?

S: Yeah. It doesn't.

I: But it is.

[Bastarrarena would grab a knife and some gloves.]

B: Maybe this might help.

[Bastarrarena would make a few tiny cuts in the left arm. The arm would start to bleed, though slowly and not enough to cause immediate death.]

I: You captured all of the insurgents. What is there for me to share?

S: Perhaps we didn't capture them all. Where are the rest of them?

I: You know where they're at.

S: If we knew, we wouldn't need you.

I: They're already in jail.

S: Not really. Given how you used them, we're considering giving some leniency to some of them.

B: Let me ask you. Do you love to manipulate others?

I: No. I believe in what I say and say democracy is best for Kalistan.

[Bastarrarena would start to use the knife to make some petite piercing on Ingleton's right arm. At this point, Ingleton starts to scream.]

B: If you scream, we'll grab the bullets in your leg and yank them out. So shut up.

[Ingleton would stop screaming.]

S: Are there any remaining munitions stashes in Kalistan?

I: A few. We hid them nicely and clearly in the middle of the mainland. There are a few near the border with Baltusia.

B: Ah, so you work with the Baltusians.

I: No.

[Stallion would leave the room. He would call HIM Pavlina I Ananto-Hulanevek via a secure line. They would speak for a minute before the call ended and Stallion would reenter the room. He whispered to Bastarrarena.]

B: The Empress wants your head.

I: Of course she does.

S: Unless you tell us everything.

I: What is there to share?

S: Whether you work for Baltusia.

B: Or whether you just want to become famous.

I: Alright.

S: So?

I: Baltusia helped me.

S: How so?

I: I took money from them. They wanted me to start a revolution.

B: What kind of revolution?

I: A violent one. We wanted to restore democracy with syndicalism instead of liberal democracy, and we got the money from Baltusian partners. We shot the Emperor to spark that revolution. He was too weak, too spineless to do anything, the Empress was controlling him! That's why she's the co-sovereign! Our leading man was Steven Brown there.

B: And of the Empress?

I: She's from Kundrati, not Seleya. We wanted her gone, too, but we didn't because we didn't have the nerve to when we met her. I told you already that she's the real power, she controlled the spineless Emperor! My arm is bleeding badly and I want a nurse.

B: Alright. We're done for now.

The duo left, and the police allowed the doctor's team to tend to Ingleton's wounds. A day later, the duo returned to Ingleton, who was meant to be preparing for surgery to remove the bullet, though this was delayed to let the duo interrogate Ingleton.

Quote:I: What?

B: Your Baltusia lead came up empty.

S: See, it didn't go through easily. We have no records of Baltusia being involve-

I: But they are!

B: Shut up.

S: We have no records of them being involved in this stunt. We didn't capture any Baltusians who were high-ranking enough. Unless you can tell us that hole in the story, we're going to shoot you in the head.

I: Alright, alright. The revolution was meant to be a cover. We were hired by Baltusian intelligence to start that revolution, and there are Baltusian agents. They're all in Odufaray, and they were the ones who helped recruit members to our revolution.

B: Where are they now?

I: They're trying to escape back to Baltusia.

B: Bullshit. We have military troops already at the border. They'll be caught in no time.

I: They know the area. They know where to hide and where to run.

S: Thank you.

The duo left.

Some policemen in thick local Neveras accents entered. They left moments later and approached the duo for information that had been shared. The policemen confirmed that, so far, nobody of Baltusian origin was trying to cross the border illegally. Some concerns were brought up that Ingleton's movement was a cover to introduce fascism to Kalistan as well.

The duo returned.

Quote:B: Lying will only make things worse for you. Come on.

[Bastarrarena would grab some gloves and open one of the leg wounds. He was slowly beginning to dig around for the bullet.]

I: No! No! Okay, okay it wasn't Baltusia!

S: And?

I: It was homegrown! Homegrown! I lied about Steven! He's my associate but-

[Ingleton would scream very loudly at this point. The bullet was taken out, though it was an ugly scene. Bastarrarena would stop at that point. Ingleton would go into shock and the duo stayed.]

B: Should we let the doctors in?

S: Maybe.

[The duo left. Doctors were allowed in, and they attempted to stabilize Ingleton. Another man, a senior policeman, approached the duo.]

Policeman: What the fuck was that? He's dying!

B: He didn't reveal anything.

The doctors managed to stabilize the bleeding, though they would have to clean up the room.

The next day came. Ingleton was unconscious. The duo entered Ingleton's room and realized he was still unconscious from yesterday's incident. They called Her Imperial Majesty's office. A direct line was then established, and they informed him about what happened. She gave the order.

Bastarrarena would approach Ingleton. He yanked the IV tubes out and then took off Ingleton's shirt. Bastarrarena would shoot Ingleton in the chest twice before Ingleton's shirts were put back on. The duo took the body with them, and they, and some policemen, would take the body and put him in a coffin. The coffin was taken to a hearse. The hearse was sent away to where Her Imperial Majesty was for further orders.

The hospital room remained untouched. Nurses were forbidden from cleaning the room pending orders from Her Imperial Majesty.

Eroncourt, Lourenne - 1 November 5558

[Image: image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimages.alltrails...=3840&q=75]

They walked along the trail and soon found themselves on one of the bustling pavement streets. A battalion of secret service agents, Yeudi and Canrillaise, mingled with the people going about their business a few meters behind them.

Weather was cold; a wind that felt directionless touched their faces, here and there.

-

They spoke of Dovani and its subsiding and calming trance ever since that Vascanian short-lived hiccup. Xsampa, naturally found its way in the conversation, a mischiefing predisposition worthy of regional and global adversaries. Baeguk, undying, to the North.

Then they passed through Keris and Macon; the footprints of Dolgava and Hutori still lingering in a Northern Hemisphere that's still present in the shadows of legacy. Trigunia, the alternating figure between despair and unreason.

A short stop for a hot cup of cafe au lait as the conversation naturally shifted towards Seleya. The oxymorons of a relentlessly undying Kalistan and Ananto barely noticed by many. Lodamun, overextending its hand in the wrong neighbourhood and masking its heavyweight militarist soul behind trade and commerce. Baltusia, the confused and confusing one. All in all, a Seleya that seems hefty eager to embark upon Pan-Seleyanism but failing; failing only because of fearing of dreaming of unity, unlike Artania, which pretends to dream of unity.

The conversation shifted southwards, the clash of Luthorian and Canrillaise essences with identities lost in the wind. A Kanjor and a Dorvik working together under the umbrella of an anti-Dorvish Lourenne that's now ended, but not ended.

-

They stopped for breakfast. Naturally, Isaac Benowitz looked for omelette with cheese. They laughed together as he butchered the order.

-

As they joked about hummus and baguettes, their words lingered on Majatra's active cauldron and the relentless pursuit of foreign powers like Kundrati to exploit situations, twisting them to their liking. Benowitz choked when the Vivaldi-Vandams mentioned Istalia. A story about the Throne of Yishelem shifted the conversation to the Jelbic Empire and the 3rd Point. Unnoticed menaces, they said.

They were about to break off - a couple of SUVs were stationed close - when Artania came up, this time as a divided whole.

"Like nothing ever happened, nor changed", one said.

"We need leadership", said the other.
