The Government of Alduria absolutely endorses this motion, but with the cavaet that Pontesi should not be sanctioned.  We shall not do business with the enemies of Canrillian values. Pontesi is a fellow monarchist country which is fighting off the communist menace.

We are putting forward a motion endorsing Alduria's plan to send aid to Pontesi in support of their defense against Istalian aggression until the war comes to a halt.

Communist aggression should be stopped at all costs.

Esteemed members, it has come to the attention of the Imperial Commission that Aldegar has ratified the Treaty of St. Claire and seeks ascension to the empire via Observer Status. To remind the assembly, An observer status within the empire is a very special position.

• Observer Status welcomes nations to the empire however, they shall be denied security agreements and mutual defense clauses as stated in the Treaty of St.Claire.
  
• Observer nations have the choice to welcome His Royal Majesty, Maximillien V, as Head of State or to remain under their current system.
  
• Observer states are also required to use the empire's currency, the Canrillaise Fleurs (CFR), as a medium of trade and income.
  
• Observer states also receive special economic benefits when trading within the empire.
  

We believe that the Empire should begin looking outside our own borders to spread our ideas and our wealth. Aldegar, already a close partner to Lourenne, represents a huge step forward in our goal of security and stability in our region.

All 303 of Lourenne's seats will vote in favor of this proposal now called Proposal 1.4 We await to hear your comments.

Our portion of the Kanjor vote favors admission to the Empire for Aldegar in Observer Status.

We would not be against looking at mutual defense in this case, but in any event we do favor Observer Status for Aldegar.

We will vote in favor of Aldegar joining as observer. However, we do ask to remain cautious as they have or had a lot of trade and financial benefits from other nations who are may be less friendly towards the Canrille Union and its members. 

If they are truly willing to join and help the Canrille union, we should ensure they can not be damaged by this decision, after all they have become a centre of trade.

By default, Alduria's votes have been automatically referred to as "Abstain" due to failure to present debate and members to a vote.

The proposal is passed with a vote of 430 in favor to 18 against and 72 in Abstention.

The Canrillaise Imperial Commission shall now take charge of a full observer status implementation for Aldegar. We will keep open the topic of mutual defense, as Aldegar is already in such an agreement with the United Kingdom.
