–OVERVIEW–
Baltusia is a linguistic, cultural, and ethnically diverse country inspired by the United States of America. Each of its five states takes broad cues from the major regions of the United States, from north, south, midwest, and southwest. Historically Baltusia was culturally open, based upon a much looser interpretation of the United States and was as it is today English-speaking, though it retained a diverse cultural mix through immigration by its neighbors. The majority of the population today is American, split among the traditional ethnic groups. Inspiration for Baltusia’s culture and politics obviously come from the United States.
