"The throne is rightfully ours"

Gurun (People's Party of Bianjie) has built up the nation up from nothing into a internationally important nation with the help and funding of the Fanggon clan. Nowadays Bianjie has fallen into obscurity and our political climate is as unstable as it ever has been. 
Today, the Fanggon clan with Jin as the head of the house is looking to get back into politics after centuries of watching from the sidelines. 
Fanggon Hala-i Jin claims that the claims of the Fanggon clan to the throne of Bianjie is still valid, and that the current instability has proven that the country needs a proper monarch. 

Fanggon Hala-i Jin:
Our claims to the throne have not gone unheard, but as my ancestors wished for, we gave the people a chance of deciding for themselves. Look where that brought us: we haven't had a proper government in over a decade. No addressing issues. Today's people abroad probably have never even heard of Bianjie! What we need is a strong leader, and the Fanggon clan would bring that to give us the recognition and stability we once had. Gurun (PPB) will join our politics once again and bring back the rightful clan to power, and we will make sure Bianjie stays relevant in today's world. The current khan is a false leader and they are merely a pawn for the wretched parliament.

An election will take place in january of next year, and Gurun will take part in the election, with Jin as the party leader, advocating for bringing the clan back to power. Support for this move is pretty split, many believe that the Fanggons will truly help the nation become relevant once again, but others are concerned about what it will mean for democracy in the nation.

Gurun accuses several members of defective activities
Gurun leader Fanggon Hala-i Jin has accused several party members of being spies for their opposition. An investigation to this matter has started and their membership suspended until further notice. Zhen Mudur, former member of Bianjie Democratic Action party, who joined Gurun back in April was openly accepted into the party, but was caught messaging with the BDA about confidential party meetings. Mudur and his suspected accomplices are forbidden to participate in any further meetings.

Support for Gurun and the Fanggon clan
A recent poll about the support for the Fanggon clan and the Gurun party showed that the nation is split on the decision about having the clan back on the throne. Most support for this is in the south, namely in the Capital and Southern circuits. The Northern circuit shows a lot of support for the incumbent, and in Central Bianjie the results are very mixed.

These results show a certain uncertainty for the future of Bianjie.

People News - Following recent statements from Fanggon Hala-i Jin, leader of the Gurun party, a powerful backlash has arisen from Bianjie Democratic Action (BDA), the main opposition to Gurun. BDA leader, Ruan Mei-lin, took a strong stand against what she called an “undemocratic power grab,” warning that the Fanggon clan’s intentions are a threat to both the current Khan and Bianjie’s fragile stability.

Ruan Mei-lin (BDA):  
The Fanggon clan talks of stability, but true strength comes from unity and the people’s voice. Not the reinstallation of an outdated clan. We cannot allow a single family to seize control of our nation in the name of ‘stability.’ This is a dangerous path that could lead to unrest if we allow it to continue unchallenged.

As january’s election is approaching, the BDA has been organizing speeches, especially in the Northern and Central circuits to counter what they see as aspirations for an elaborate power grab by Gurun. Tensions have escalated with reports of Gurun supporters clashing verbally with BDA activists, raising fears of possible physical violence in the future.

Gurun Seeks ‘Traitors’ in its Ranks

In an unexpected turn of events, Fanggon Hala-i Jin has accused several Gurun members, including the once respected Zhen Mudur, of colluding with the BDA. This move has prompted widespread scrutiny, with some claiming the “hunt for defectors” is an attempt to purge the party itself.

The BDA has warned that such internal purges could destabilize the entire political landscape. “If they’re going after their own members, how far are they willing to go?” Ruan Mei-lin said.

Polls Reflect Growing Divide and Growing Risks

Regional polls indicate an increasingly disunified nation, with the north and central circuits leaning toward support for the current Khan and democratic principles, while the south is firmly in favor of the Fanggon clan. This regional divide has created a environment in which both sides fear that the other’s victory could lead to a dramatic shift in the country’s future.

In a recent episode of the famous morning talkshow "Good Morning Bianjie" the hosts made the following statement: 
The growing hostility across regions suggests that violence is not out of the question if this power struggle continues unchecked. Bianjie must find a way to resolve its division before they go into open conflict.

Popular bookstore in Ambagašan burned down - Police investigating possible political motives

People News - The popular Ambagašan bookstore "真実" hit by arson attack. Many people have theorized a political motivation, as it was mostly connected with an anti-communist sentiment. Gurun has not taken responsibility for the attack, but the police are investigating the matter.
BDA leader Mei-Lin has accused the Gurun party, and it's followers for this attack, calling it an attack of free speech.

Ruan Mei-Lin:
This attack on our freedom of speech will not go unnoticed. The commies are playing dirty, attacking people and their businesses for their beliefs. The police are onto you, and so am I. I don't usually condone taking matters into your own hands, but if the corrupt police force don't expose these people for what they really are, we, the people should bring these [redacted] to justice. 

Chief of Ambagašan Police Department Mei King has neither confirmed or denied their main suspects, but who else could do this but the rotten communists? 

Mei King:
We have to be impartial in our investigation, and so far we cannot publish our main suspects, but the perpetrator(s) will be brought to justice and punished accordingly. Political motives is a real possibility, but we cannot rule out alternative options. We will investigate this thoroughly. We urge residents of Ambagašan to stay vigilant for other similar attacks happening in the future.

Arson attack in Ambagašan
The Ambagašan police department is investigating an arson attack on a bookstore allegedly responsible for anti-communist sentiments. While the police have not yet made a statement regarding a possible suspect, the BDA has taken it upon themselves to accuse Gurun for inciting this attack. This is just a ploy to paint the communist supporters in a bad light.

Fanggon Hala-i Jin:
We here at Gurun are deeply saddened to hear about an attack like this taking place on our own soil. However we are even more saddened that the BDA pigs have resorted to such a low. They have directly accused our party and our supporters for this attack with no real evidence. They are fearmongerers and cowards. Furthermore they even asked in their propaganda paper to take matters into your own hands! Stay vigilant, comrades. Be on the lookout for oppressors.

The chief of police have confirmed that they will be conducting their investigation impartially, but given the statements made by the BDA-aligned newspaper People News, it might not be enough, and any supporters of Gurun are strongly encouraged to either be accompanied by a friend, or be prepared to defend themselves against violent supporters of the opposition.

Gurun has major victory in the south

In the capital and southern districts, Gurun managed to win 90% of the vote, and a narrow victory in the western circuit with only 51%
BDAs disinformation campaign has succeeded in the Northern and Eastern circuits, with Gurun performing poorly. 

The end result however leads neither party at a clear majority, and both parties would need to work with the small Republican party (RPB) to get the majority they need, but they have made it clear that they aren't cooperating with either side, leaving the election in a stalemate.

Fanggon Hala-i Jin:
This election is a clear victory to us, the population differences speak for themselves, although we don't necessarily have a majority, we had by far the most votes as the capital circuit is such a populous region in our country. Clearly, we are the rightful rulers of Bianjie!

Jin has also pleaded to the Khan directly, asking for a transfer of power because of the will of a majority of the people, which he has so far refused.

BDA claims victory in the north while Gurun frauds the election in the south

People News - BDA has landslide victory in the Northern and Eastern Circuits. Western district is split between the two major parties. Although Gurun has frauded the elections with rigging and intimidation, BDA fared well against them. Only thing standing in between government is the Republican party, which will not work with BDA even if we wanted to.
BDA will investigate these fraudulent elections in the south.

Gurun has also made the claim that they "won the election" just because they won the Capital Circuit. This is entirely untrue and irrelevant as foul play has been used. They even claimed that BDA had a disinformation campaign against them in the north.

As there is no government being formed for the duration of the term, BDA and its followers are demanding a recount with proper measures to make fraud impossible.
