Requesting a tweak in Luthori's cultural protocols, mostly in reference to the mentions of immigration influences within Luthorian culture, adding more minority populations within Luthori (ie. Valruzian, Narik, Dundorfian) in reference to Luthori's diplomatic history.
(Removed Hulstrian and integrated it into Dundorfian - if that's alright.)

Adding to this, I would wish to split up Hosianism within Luthori, by adding the Aurorian Church and other Hosian denoynms, while keeping the Holy Luthori Church's influence and perennial role in Luthorian Hosianism.

Furthermore, I would like to remove the Victorian Era focus, because it never made sense around me (don't know if that can be debated however). Here's the former culpro for reference: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-342.html
-- OVERVIEW --

Luthori is based on England, although with influences from foreign cultures due to its lengthy history of relatively open cultural integration system (inspired from America’s Melting Pot – with Luthorian culture at its center, but other cultures being added in addition to it). Historically, the country controlled a vast colonial empire that included portions of Dovani, Seleya, Temania and Vascania. Luthori's former colonies have now been independent for centuries though. Furthermore, in recent history, Luthori has begun to encourage immigration from other countries as a way to boost their population. Since 5317, Luthori has been a constitutional monarchy under the House of Orange-Villayn Armstead.

I would like to request an update for the cultural protocol of Dundorf, which is a result of the recent census RP we did. This update contains only minor adjustements and doesn't change the nature of Dundorf, which remains predominantly Dundorfian with its historic Narik majority, and remains plurality non-religious, with the Ameliorate Church holding the primacy among religious groups. Here is the old CulPro, for reference: https://forum.prtcy.com/thread-281.html

Quote:-- OVERVIEW --
Dundorf is generally regarded as Particracy's equivalent of modern-day Germany. In comparison to other Dundorfian (German)-majority countries in the game, Dundorf is relatively ethnically homogeneous and is more politically polarised, leading to the establishment of various authocratic regimes on the left and right side of the political spectrum throughout its history. Since 5218, Dundorf is governed by a federal parliamentary democratic system, with a multi-party democracy.

Solentia: Hasab Warkol

GreekIdiot

The Hasab Warkol (Dudmani for "Reckoning") is a terrorist group with cells around the world, originating from Solentia. It is funded by 1 key source, which will be the plot-twist at the end. Its goal is to exact revenge and teach past and current powers a lesson for neglecting Solentia and its people.

The story is NOT a religious thing, but a civic one, based on the nation's rocky modern past with not 1, but 4 civil wars since the 5200s - powers either ignored or meddled, leaving a mess.

Let's call it generational PTSD.

~

Hasab has a hit list of 10 target nations; this is a digital leaflet circulating in Terra's dark web, this is a hint and this is a different hint, when it comes to figuring out which nations have been targetted.

Story also includes hint videos, like this.

~

Rules of Engagement (if you want to participate in the RP):

I'm personally reaching out with DMs to players from these 10 target nations, directly. Basically, I am planning this with the 10 main players, in secret.

These players, if/once they figure out who the rest of them are, can absolutely coordinate together without me knowing anything beyond the 1-1 plans I have with each.

The plan is a dance: I build up, they can react, I act, they respond - the aftermath of each cycle helps push the story forward by building momentum from each cycle until the finale.

If you're NOT one of the 10 main players but want to participate, you can reach out to these 10 main players (once you've figured out who they are) to coordinate your envisioned involvement.

Difficulty Level: Medium to High

Solentia will be painted with optics that will make it harder for anyone to attack it in any manner without getting a bad rep internationally. You'll have to account for that.

I am notoriously complex when it comes to players figuring out the main strand of the story: I RP in "modules", different time periods, I use flashbacks and have plot twists. Most of my text/imagery is intentional and I'm a great fan of misdirection. You'll have to pay attention.

I also RP multiple faces, so it's important you don't mistake everything as "Solentia".

By RPing as a secondary player, you are agreeing that you're not looking to win over any other player OOCly - but may absolutely be looking to score points ICly - and you're totally fine with being flexible with the story, considering you're neither aware of the cycles nor the endgame.

~

There are 3 acts and 6 phases:

Exposition ~ we're currently on this one

Inciting Incident ~ you'll feel it, it's not the first boom

Rising Action

Midpoint ~ you'll feel the international shift

Pre-climax

Climax ~ the #1 nation will be attacked

(Resolution, plot-twist reveal)

As part of this arc, I will also be doing a few posts on Solentia's:

Culture, so you know how both the nation and region in Southeast Majatra play out

We're all very excited for the enthusiasm that the rollout of PT: Reborn has generated among the community, noting it has generated an increase in the amount of RP articles.

We noticed that the current setting of the game timer, one month every twelve hours, seems to be too slow for the new game mechanics part. The Moderation team is open to consider returning to a one month every eight hours timer, considering it as a fair balance for more dynamic game mechanics but still months that are not too short to produce quality RP arcs.

For this reason, we're officially opening a max 1 week feedback period in which all members of the PT community are encouraged to tell us their opinion on this matter. Upon closure of this feedback period, our team will make a final decision.

Hello All

I thought I would repost the old discussions on the guide to improving RP from the old Forum. It starts with my discussion about the Kayfabe, which is a wrestling term that allows for willing suspension of disbelief among the audience. It is especially appropriate, both in politics (i.e. most political actors, media actors, and etc know that the outrage is all kayfabe, but most people do not, so they believe the show these politicians perform is real...) and scripted RP like PT. It also offers a guide for new players (older players will benefit too), and a suggestion for Military RPs, all written by long time players with literally decades of combined experience with PT.

This is NOT the rule. You do NOT have to abide by it. It is merely a suggestion that you can choose to incorporate in your RP, to get a new perspective on just what it is we are doing here. Many people used to play this game this way, but we have gotten away from it after we left Classic, because (I suspect) most people simply didn't know it was an option or a possibility.

The three contributors to this "guide" of sorts are myself Zanz and James, and I will note their contributions, as well as the dates which they made them. Some of this stuff might not apply anymore (especially discussion about RP team) but I will leave that in because on a general, conceptual level, it is still good information to have even if it describes some mechanics that no longer exist. I would certainly welcome other additions from people who have their own suggestions for improving RP from a more modern perspective.

These posts are quite long, but I think are worth the read for people who are trying to enhance or improve their RP, and if nothing else it is useful perspectives from people who have been playing this game an awfully long time that you might find some value it.

This museum, funded entirely by money provided by House Ananto and the generous support of our members and donors, aims to create exhibits highlighting important aspects of the History, Culture and Practice of the Empire of Ananto and Kalistan.

We reference here the Empire under House Ananto, dating back to the first Enabling Acts in 5148. The Museum will contain an exhibit on the ancient Monarchy (I-III Dynasties), but as House Ananto is unrelated to the ancient and extinct rulers of the Anantan Empire, the primary focus will be on the IV Gaduri and V Kundrati Dynasties.

Welcome! Feel free to spend as long as you like perusing Kalistan's Imperial History.
