Colonel-General of the Dorvish Air Force Bernd Sternberg was ecstatic that the new jets were prepared for use after impressing the top military brasses of each nation as it went up nearly unmatched against various jets from across Terra. Dorvische Republikaner win elections!

Haldor, Kordusia - With almost 300 seats within the 500-seat Volkskammer the new guy of the elections have won a stunning victory. The recent dissolution of the Demorkatische Partei Dorvik left their voters with two alternatives; a national-conservative monarchist party or a far-right libertarian party. For the majority of the voters, the choice was easy. However, the party leader, Gustav Horch, has announced he wants to form a coalition with the monarchists. Whether this will succeed has to be determined in a vote that will be held today.

Titov, Zaitsev Announce Vereinigt Dorvik Return to Politics

In a surprise announcement in the run up to the March 3279 elections in Dorvik, former Kanzler Ilya Titov and party Präsident Vladik Zaitsev have announced that they are re-gathering members of United Dorvik in order that they rejoin the political scene. Their return sets the stage for a showdown in the March elections as experts predict at least a mild result for Vereinigt Dorvik who still maintains a strong following among those who remember them. The party is mostly remembered for their opposition to socialism in Dovik and staunch committment to right-wing values. Formerly a mix of libertarians and conservative members, the new Vereinigt Dorvik has so far strongly embraced liberal conservatism as their platform.

Only time will tell how well the new party will perform however, as the political landscape has changed greatly since it was originally formed in July of 3127. Some analysts say that Vereinigt Dorvik may need to accept that it will no longer be the dominant right-wing force in Dorvik, with Dorvische Republikaner having considerable success in Titov's absence. Some say that VD may eventually join some sort of a coalition but so far Mr. Titov has remained tight-lipped, refusing to speculate on hypotheticals.

Titov is standing for election in the Volkskammer whilst Zaitsev is the party's main candidate for Präsident der Volksrepublik.

Dorvische Republikaner start massive campaign in Dorvik.
Will they tackle the populist-extremists?

Dr. Horst Mumbach speeching to a large crowd on the DR Freedom Rally in Haldor.

Haldor, Kordusia - The party spokesman of the Dorvische Republikaner, dr. Horst Mumbach, has announced that the party will fight for victory over 'the repressive populist-extremists that dare to chain the Dorvish people'. The aim of the new campaign is to tackle their arch-nemesis, the populist Dorvische Partei. Rumours say the campaign cost over 25 million dolgars. Inside sources state that party leader and billionaire Gustav Horch has paid a massive amount of it while others list the illustrious Von Bismarck family as the main investor. Whoever it may be, the Dorvische Republikaner seem determined to become the major party in Dorvik again. At the DR Freedom Rally in Dorvik's capital, Haldor, party spokesman Mumbach speeched about the new program of the Dorvische Republikaner; liberty, peace, the environment, a small government and a flourishing economy. The most drastic changes are noticeable in the defence and economy departments, the Dr. Mumbach said that the Dorvische Republikaner will take a whole new approach to the military to ensure peace for Dorvik and a new approach to boost the economy and make it flourish. Die-hard libertarians are heard to be slightly disappointed but most critics agree that the party needs a broader audience to gain the upper hand in Dorvish politics.

In an interview with former President and party chairman Rolf Holst a journalist asked him at what price the party would go for a seat in the government. The former President responded with 'We are happy to cooperate with every party on the right side of the political spectrum. And of course with our friends of the Zentrumspartei who have showed themselves to be a liberty loving and reasonable party during the many times we cooperated.' On the question if he would cooperate with the resurfaced party Vereinigt Dorvik he had the following to say 'I have spoked with Horch, von Bismarck and Mumbach about Vereinigt Dorvik and everyone of us is still uncertain whether to cooperate. Mr. Horch even mentioned that the party is too restrictive to ever be able to properly cooperate with our party but I wouldn't rule it out, the party is willing to make sacrifices in order to keep the DP out of power.'

Titov Rejects Cabinet, Calls for Right-Wing Coalition

Speaking to the press this morning, Ilya Titov [VD] has announced that he will formally reject the Dorvische Partei's offer to install a 'majority government' in power, including elements from Vereinigt Dorvik, the Dorvische Kaiserliche Bund, and the Dorvische Zentrumspartei.

"On one hand," he says, "We of course welcome any opportunity to become involved in the government as much as possible. But I wouldn't want to lead a government as Kanzler that I did not believe could function well."

Pressed further for an explanation, he answered; "The Dorvische Kaiserliche Bund are left wing libertarians seemingly considering a more conservative approach. They are also monarchists. And the Dorvische Zentrumspartei whilst we agree with their market orientation are libertarians. My main concern is trying to somehow force the left and the right to work together, as well as conservatives and liberals. I just don't think it would be a very effective government at all."

He has fended off some accusations within his own party of costing Vereinigt Dorvik an opportunity to govern, but his supporters say that he has set his sights higher. As a former Kanzler before the party was de-registered, Titov is known for his strong leadership style coupled with his strong advocacy for the freedom of markets.

Titov Kanzler in VD, DP, DKB Coalition Government

After snap elections were called in October to resolve the sudden dissolution of the Nationalsyndikalistischen Arbeiterpartei and the Dorvische Zentrumspartei, a coalition of the willing seems to have formed between Titov's Vereinigt Dorvik (86), the Dorvische Republikaner (126), and the Dorvische Kaiserliche Bund (54) for a cabinet agreement. The parties have been in negotiations for a few days and are expected to announce a coalition government to replace the current led by Gustav Horch of the Dorvische Republikaner. Ilya Titov is currently the favorite to take up the position of Kanzler as rumours have come out that Vereinigt Dorvik and the Dorvische Republikaner have been conducting seperate negotiations concerning the nation's politics.

Ilya Titov leads a more conservative party where as Horch is the current leader of the Dorvische Republikaner who is more liberal. The parties are expected to set aside their differences however as they lead a coalition of the willing against the nation's left-wing, represented by the Dorvische Partei (234), who almost gained a majority in their own right. A major victory has been granted in the meanwhile to the DP who replaces the DKB's Reinhold von Weinsedorf as Präsident, with their own candidate Samara von Jakuvs.

Meanwhile, it is reported there are tensions in the Vereinigt Dorvik party room as hardliners fear Titov will be forced to give too many concessions to Dorvische Republikaner on liberal policies. Historically a party which supports conservative policies and a powerful government, Titov faces the challenge of uniting members who demand that the VD take a role in government with those who demand a strong stance in party values.

Cabinet Announced After Parties Emerge from Negotiations

Emerging early this morning after hours of negotiations, it has been formally announced that Ilya Titov [VD] will take the reigns of the center-right VD, DP, & DKB coalition government. Widely tipped to do so after it was leaked by anonymous party officials, Titov will be Kanzler once again after going into retirement in March 3283 when the party chose not to recontest the elections. Coming out of retirement and leading Vereinigt Dorvik once again in January 3179, he is a successful politician and widely considered an embodiment of the party he has helped to found and refound.

Other ministries the party is expected to take control of include Finance, Infrastructure and Transport, as well as Science and Technology.

Below is a full table of the Cabinet to be sworn in tomorrow.

Kanzler der Volksrepublik: Ilya Titov [VD]
    Foreign Affairs: Emma Römer [DR]
    Internal Affairs: Sigmund Kerner [DKB]
    Finance: Dmitri Kovalev [VD]
    Defence: Erwin von Bismarck [DR]
    Justice: Svyatoslav Kaminski [DKB]
Infrastructure and Transport: Yaroslav Kolesnikov [VD]
Health and Social Services: August Grüber [DR]
Education and Culture: Sergei Dolstov [DR]
Science and Technology: Petya Kolesnikov [VD]
Food and Agriculture: Rebekka Rodiva [DR]
Environment and Tourism: Joachim Sarkozi [DKB]
Trade and Industry: Dr. Roman Mihaylov [DKB]

Meanwhile as the center-right continue to celebrate victory in recent elections, Titov has committed his party to reforming taxes and decreasing spending. He has also rejected suggestions that Vereinigt Dorvik would pander to the liberals in social policy, labelling rumours 'scare tactics' from the left.

Dorvische Republikaner call for victory in Dorvik.
With the right-wing government installed, the DR believes in the future of Dorvik.

Haldor, Kordusia - After the delegate of the Dorvische Republikaner was seen leaving the negotiations room this morning it became clear that a right-wing majority cabinet was in place. The party leader and main negotiator, Gustav Horch, who has no seat in the current cabinet had this to say: "We are happy to announce that Dorvik will be ruled by a honest right-wing government that stands for a flourishing economy and national security. But do remember that our party will not forget what it stands for, after all the two other cabinet parties sometimes disagree with giving the people the liberty they deserve. But let them not forget that the DR is the largest right-wing party in this nation, the people have spoken. Also, sacrifices are inevitable. As a die-hard libertarian that is one of hardest sacrifices I ever had to make. But those libertarians with me must remember that it could have been far worse, a populist religious-extremist socialist party could have been in place! Always remember that." Although the DR party shows itself happy with the results several inside sources state that the highest ranking members are angry at Vereinigt Dorvik for breaking promises. Rumours go the VD had promised to endorse them for the position of President and as a trade the DR would give them the position of Chancellor. Whether this will cause tensions with the new cabinet is unsure to say at this point.

Dr. Horst Mumbach found dead.
Assassination or violent robbery?

Haldor, Kordusia - The party spokesman from the Dorvische Republikaner, dr. Horst Mumbach, has been found dead this morning. His corpse was found in the city park of Haldor. The police refuses to make any statements about what happened in that fatal night for mr. Mumbach. The man who found the corpse commented that the body looked very bloody and was certainly stabbed over a dozen times, also the face had been severely maimed. The man stated he would never have recognized mr. Mumbach. The police did comment on this, stating that his wife had called both the police and the Sicherheits-Abteilung of the Dorvische Republikaner, both of them searching for the missing mr. Mumbach. DR party members have announced a period of grief and all party members have been seen wearing black clothing. Inside the party there is now a discussion how the S-A could fail to protect mr. Mumbach and also raises the matter if all prominent party members should be guarded 24/7. As his replacement as party spokesman the son of Herzog Heinz von Bismarck, Gottfried von Bismarck, has been appointed.
