In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules, Aloria is a "culturally protected" country. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the country must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name.

--OVERVIEW--

Aloria is primarily based on Brythonic culture (including Welsh, Cornish, and Breton) but also on broader Celtic cultures. In addition to Welsh, Cornish, and Breton, it also represents an alternate history survival of Gaulish culture into modern times, with Germanic and British influences.

Aloria is divided primarily between two major cultural groups: the Dradic (Celtic) and Dundorfian (German) peoples, with a variety of smaller minority populations.

--ETHNICITY--

A majority of Alorians are Dradic, equivalent to the Celtic peoples. Of these most are Cymerians (Welsh), while smaller minorities belong to the closely related Ultranian (Breton) and Sildarian (Cornish) ethnicities. In addition to being based on Brythonic peoples, Aloria's Dradics are also based on the French people and French-speaking Swiss people. They mostly adhere to the Alorian Hosian Church, with a significant Dradic Pagan (Celtic Pagan) minority.

There is a substantial Dundorfian (German) minority. Aloria's Dundorfian people are based on Swiss Germans and are divided between Abjurantism (Protestantism) and the Alorian Hosian Church, with a small number of Dradic (Celtic) Pagans.

» Dradic (Celtic)- 61%
⠀⠀-- Cymerian (Welsh)- 46%
⠀⠀-- Ultranian (Breton)- 13%
⠀⠀-- Sildarian (Cornish)- 2%
» Dundorfian (German)- 34%
» Other- 5%

--RELIGION--

The largest religion in Aloria is the Alorian Hosian Church, a Septentrine (Old Catholic) denomination part of the Bishopal Communion (based on the Anglican/Episcopal Churches and the Old Catholic Churches). The Federation of Abjurant Churches in Aloria unites Ameliorate (Reformed) and Confessional (Lutheran) Abjurants (Protestants). Most Abjurants in Aloria are Ameliorate. Dradic (Celtic) Paganism is still practised by a small minority.

» Alorian Hosian Church (Old Catholic)- 51%
» Federation of Abjurant Churches in Aloria (Protestant)- 16%
» No religion- 15%
» Dradic Paganism (Celtic Paganism)- 7%
» Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Roman Catholic)- 6%
» Other- 5%

--LANGUAGE--

Aloria is largely a bilingual nation, with two main national languages, Cymerian (Welsh) and Dundorfian (German). The Sildarian (Cornish) and Ultranian (Breton) languages are spoken by their respective ethnic groups. Although Alorian Dundorfians use Standard Dundorfian (Standard German) in formal and official contexts, the Kurmalic Dundorfian language (Alemannic German, especially Swiss German) is widely spoken and understood. Though it has no official status it is not in danger of extinction, unlike other nonstandard varieties of Dundorfian.

Aloria represents a fusion of Brythonic and broader Celtic cultures, blending Welsh, Cornish, and Breton traditions with an alternate survival of Gaulish heritage into modern times. Germanic and British influences further shape its dual identity—divided between the Dradic (Celtic) and Dundorfian (German) peoples.

Ethnicities - Most Alorians are Dradic, akin to Celtic peoples. The largest subgroup, Cymerians (Welsh), dominate, followed by Ultranians (Breton) and Sildarians (Cornish). Dradics also draw from French and Swiss-French parallels, following the Alorian Hosian Church or Dradic Paganism. A large Dundorfian (German/Swiss German) minority adheres mainly to Abjurantism (Protestantism) or the Alorian Hosian Church.

Ultranian / Breton / 13% / Dradic (Celtic)
Sildarian / Cornish / 2% / Dradic (Celtic)
Dundorfian / German / 34%

Religions - The Alorian Hosian Church, a Septentrine (Old Catholic) branch of the Bishopal Communion, is Aloria’s leading faith. The Federation of Abjurant Churches unites Protestant groups, while Dradic Paganism endures as a living Celtic faith. Smaller numbers follow the Aurorian Patriarchal Church or remain non-religious.

No religion / — / 15%
Dradic Paganism / Celtic Paganism / 7%
Aurorian Patriarchal Church / Roman Catholic / 6%

Languages - Cymerian (Welsh) and Dundorfian (German) are the official languages of Aloria. Sildarian (Cornish) and Ultranian (Breton) persist regionally. Standard Dundorfian (High German) is used formally, while Kurmalic Dundorfian (Swiss German) thrives in informal contexts, preserving its distinct local flavor.

Guidelines - Political party names should appear in Welsh or German. Character names should reflect Aloria’s Celtic and Swiss heritage, favoring Welsh, Breton, Cornish, and Swiss-German origins.
