We bet on Dovani and the East rising.

There has been, indeed, quite a few right calls from your and the Yeudi diplomats overall. And, Sir, I do not "hate" nor "not like you" as you may think. If that was the case, why would I have spent effort into recruiting you within the Department of Foreign Affairs? Mr. Benowitz, we've recognised your worth as a distingushed scholar alongside other professors from numerous universities and your mission, as of now, is to advice both the Prime Minister's Office and the Foreign Office on the right course of action to acheive Luthori's goals after the Kundrati War.

As we've both remarked and that was the observation of the Foreign Office as well, the West has fallen from its place of prominence in world affairs, and quite fairly, the West fell from its place before the fascist takeover of Kundrati, it only revealed the weaknesses of the Western Hemisphere. 

The Luthorian Empire after the war would need to deal with both foes and allies, the Hutorians in the north, while allied can prove to be independent-looking, far from a bad thing, but can prove to be a thorn in Luthori's side in any capacity. The Kalistanis and Egelians, while they are likely to be rivals in the next few years, as per with the declarations of the Egelian King, the Empire would still need to remain vigilent as to balance our existing, although strained relationship with Altéa and our quasi non-existant relationship with Kaliburg.

Xsampa and Dovani would still need to be worked out. Finally, our relationship to the Commonwealth remains paramount and at the center of our foreign policy. Alongside our commitment to democracy and enlightened ideals.

There is a sentiment prevailing that Luthori has a need for policy of caution, let's take the rise of Pan-Dovanian sentiment within the Eastern Hemisphere, it would foolish for the Empire to come in direct opposition to the sentiment, nor will it be effective. The Empire lacks sufficient diplomatic leverage and influence to make her vision of a divided Dovani possible.

The Foreign Secretary proposed that Luthori's policy in regards to Dovani from now, in light of the developments unfolding in the Eastern Hemisphere should be of an official neutral position on Pan-Dovanianism and maintain cordial relations with Xsampa, who will inexorably become the titan of the East if everything unfolds as it is currently is, while on the same way, empowering states that might be more understanding of Luthori's economic, financial and commercial interests in the Continent.

Two individuals were relaxing in the Emperor Augustus Room, Blackhall Palace, seat of Luthori's foreign policy, the atmosphere was relaxed, yet silent, before one individual dared to speak, breaking the solemn silence that has imposed itself on them.

"Kalistanis are coming?"

"Yeah, that's what they are talking in the press."

"We are losing our grasp on the situation."

"Yeah, we are, but we are too slow on this. We did good on the banking affair though."

"I mean, yeah, but look, we don't need an permanent enemy on our northern flank."

"We don't, but didn't the Prime Minister finally did something."

"Yeah, let's hope this works. But, let's do something with Kalistan. They don't like us."

"I know. What do you have in mind?"

"Invite him. He's on an unscheduled trip, another unscheduled meeting wouldn't hurt."

"With whom?"

"Directly with the Prime Minister."

"Damn."

"Yep, damn. Now contact Crown Street while I ask the Kalistanis if they like the idea."

As he got up, the other shadowy individual followed him, curious.

"It's his idea."

"For what?"

"Go figure."
