The extremist-right political movement RCD (Radaigeach Ceart Dhut) has become the biggest party, taking all 105 seats in the Rutanian Parliament. Fear is upon citizens of Rutania as they wait for the reforms made by the RCD.

Aonghas Mòr, president of the party has released the following statement: 'The people of Rutania have selected us to make this state great again, like it was. We will be introducing reforms in the upcoming months such as withdrawal from unneeded treaties and much-needed change in the legislation. We thank all citizens for their trust in our party.'

Rutania's new dawn, a year since the election of the Pàrtaidh Adhartach as the majority in Pàrlamaid, is well underway. The restrictions placed on civil liberties by the RCD have been repealed, and the nation looks to be on the up as the 'Progressive Revolution' makes the nation great again.

Since the victory of the right wing in Rutania, the growth of several more radical political extremes within the party has only continued. The RCD faced a sort of internal civil war, between the traditionalist factions, and the growing Thallerist Factions After years of debate, violence, and the collapse of several governments due to the split, the Thallerist Faction, finally, came out on top, with it's leader Eoin Thaller becoming Party Chairman, renaming the party from the RCD to the National Peoples Thallerist Party, (Pàrtaidh Nàiseanta nan Daoine Thallerist), cementing the Thallerist Faction's victory.

With the victory of the Thallerists, it was only inevitable that Democracy in Rutania would die.

In a short coup, The PNDT, along with the military, which had been purged of all disloyalty, took control of the Parliament. Eoin Thaller, flanked by a corps of Grenadiers, would walk into the legislature, and in a short speech, would declare "Today, the folly of Democracy in Rutania is dead. Today, Rutania advances towards a brighter future.". With thundering applause from the PNDT side of the aisle, Grenadiers would begin arresting the non PNDT members of the Legislature. They would then be placed into vans, and taken to an undisclosed location. Those with any possible usefulness would be tortured and extorted for information, while the rest would simply be shot, and have their bodies thrown into unmarked mass graves.

Following the coup, Thaller would purge the party of any disloyal elements, including those who could have potentially been a threat, replacing them and the party high command with only those loyal to him and him alone, solidifying his control of the party, and with it, the Nation.

A Baptism of Fire.

It is a solemn night, as families huddle around their radio's and televisions. Normally, they would be asleep, but as per the new legal requirements, all the nation is awake to hear as Eoin Thaller, who has proclaimed himself Consul (Consal in Scots-Gaelic), give an address to the nation. The tv and radio then suddenly plays the national anthem, before they announce "Ladies and Gentlemen of Rutania, The Father of the Nation, Defender of The Faith, Protector of Rutanians, Rightful Heir to The House of Thaller, Rightful Head of the House of Thaller, Head of the Church..." For about 2 minutes they go on and on, listing the new titles that Thaller has given himself, before finally beginning. "... and Consul, Eoin Thaller is ready to address the nation. Ave Rutania!".

"My Fellow Patriotic Rutanians. Today is a great day for our nation. We have made great strides, ripping down the ideals of the old Republic, and establishing a new nation, based on the great Thallerist Principles that we hold so dear. Our Nation has never been so glorious. However, the dream of a pure Rutania has not been achieved yet."

In the middle of the speech, people can start hearing men marching out in the streets. They are armed, but they don't look like normal army or police forces, their uniforms are black and they are wearing berets

with the insignia "BÀS DO TRAITORS", which means Death to Traitors.

"I have, as leader of the  Pàrtaidh Nàiseanta nan Daoine Thallerist, directed the creation of the Geàrd Thalerist (Thallerist Guard), which is currently.. purifying our nation of all disloyalty. We have received reports of several democratic, communist, and anti-Thallerist forces against the state, which is why we are preparing our nation for a national restructuring."

Screams can be heard outside, as the Blackshirts march into homes, put bags over the heads of several people deemed 'National Security Threats', (aka those who go against the doctrine of Thallerism, such as those members of the liberal intelligentsia, communists, the families of purged politicians and officers, etc). Some of those who resist are just shot immediately, as people look outside their homes with horror. These were their friends, their colleagues, their associates. And now they are gone, heading to one of the many Re-Education Camps being set up all across the country. And yet, all they can do about it is raise their hands in salute as the broadcast ends, playing the national anthems, and simply recite the National Motto.

Flags fly at half mast in remembrance of the great leader of Kundrati, a great Patriot for all the people of his country, and Terra. Though he has left this earth, his movement is not over, and we are expecting further cooperation between our two nations following this period of mourning and the re-establishment of a new leader in Kundrati.

A Pure Nation.

A Mother wakes up late at night in her hospital bed. She has worked and labored to bring life into this world, a beautiful baby boy, the first of her life. This is the greatest honor a Rutanian woman can achieve, to bring new life into this world, to bring forth a new generation of brave Rutanians. Finally, the nurse enters the room, but she's not carrying her baby boy, no, she's holding a pen and a notepad.

"What is this?" the Mother asks, she wasn't expecting more paperwork to be necessary.

"Your son exhibited signs of mental illness, and as per the National Purity Laws of the Greater Rutania Act, we had to end the child's life.", the Nurse says calmly, with little emotion.

"W-what?"

"We need you to sign the death certificate."

"O-okay, of course.. all for the purity of... o-our country.."

She grabs the pen, hands shaking, barely able to even sign her name.

"Thank you. Hail Thaller."

The nurse leaves, leaving the woman there to just sit in the dark of the night, quietly sobbing into her arms, as Consul Thaller reports on the radio and tv about the quote 'future purity and greatness our nation is going to experience'.

SIGNING OF THE ARTANIAN ALLIANCE

Consul Thaller, and the Kundrati leader and their respective delegations have met in Kaesama to sign the Artanian Alliance, an economic and military alliance between the two ideologically similar nations. While Davostag did not sign the pact, they have been considered an honorary ally, and a friendly economic partner for both nations.
