Dorvik
Haldor, Kordusia - News from the corporate sector today as SWP Chairman Karl Raskop's new security company Raskop Securities opens its doors. While Mr. Raskop maintains that the company is simply a way for him to make money, many political observers are claiming that this is being used as a way to circumvent the ban on paramilitaries. Mr. Raskop's claim was not aided by the news that Raskop Securities had entered a 50 year exclusive contract with the Party that Mr. Raskop chairs, the Sozialistiche Weltrepublik Partei. Armed guards are now stationed in and around SWP headquarters in downtown Haldor. Whether or not this is the SWP reaction to new conservative entries into the political spectrum or an oddly capitalistic venture for Mr. Raskop remains to be seen.

Konservative Reichspartei raises Security Department

Haldor, Kordusia - The Konservative Reichspartei has set up a Security Department in response to the terrorism attack in the government district. The department is headed by the infamous special operations soldier Georg Bayerlein who previously adviced companies like BismarckPaulus AG. All party members are under 24/7 protection from the highly trained specialists. The party's PR spokesman, Franz Marcks, says "It is terrible that some people think they need to act outside of democracy. I don't think that killing innocent people ever changed something else than the lives of innocent families." The party leader Heinz von Bismarck also commented "Our sincere condolences to the families who lost a relative. We hope the police will catch these rats soon enough, we have party members fearing for their lives simply for their political beliefs, and that in this nation!" Several people have claimed that this Security Department is merely a decoy for a paramilitary organization in response to Raskop Security. The party however denies this but one can doubt this when noticing that the guards are armed with assault rifles from Schützman Waffen, a daughter company of BismarckPaulus AG which is headed by the father of Heinz von Bismarck.

Demokratische Partei Launch Scathing attack on "blatant breach of law" by certain parties

The Demokratische Partei Chairman Miroslav Pfeizzer has launched a scathing attack on both the SWP and their coalition partners the KRP for what he described as a "blatant and disgusting breach of national law."

Mr Pfeizzer's comments were directed at the fact that both parties have attempted to go over the regulation which prevents paramilitaries. In a statement to the press earlier he said "It is absolutely ridiculous that these parties think they are above the law. We understand that with the recent terrorist attack people are scared, and our thoughts are with the families of the victims. However, this is not an excuse for the blatant and disgusting breach of national law which both parties have undertaken. If we are to show these terrorist that we are not going to be defeated then it is by carrying out our business normally, not by breaking down."

It is not yet known, how the party will react to Pfeizzer's words, although speculation suggests that he has the support of many major figures within the party, including Felix Janisch, the minister of Defense, and Johann Mueller, the son of former leader and founder Sebastien Mueller, who is rapidly shooting up the party structure.

Leading Democratic Party member assassinated

Kriessefels, Miktar - Members and supporters of the Demokratische Partei are in mourning today after a young and upcoming party member Karl Markitzer was assassinated. It is currently believed that the assassination was carried out by a relatively unknown Dorvische-Extremmist group which calls itself Kreiger der Bruderschaft (Warriors of the Brotherhood). Its leader Henrik Fleischer sent a video to the Dorvish Government in the aftermath of the assassination which happened as Markitzer left the Volkskammar last night. It is now known that Markitzer was killed because he was of Mothin descent. Fleischer's video talked of his want to "wipe the world clean of the Mothin filth" and his desire to destroy what he described as the unmenschlich.

Miroslav Pfeizzer, a man also of Mothin descent, spoke of the great work that Markitzer did throughout his career and said that the party, and Dorvik, had lost one of it's "brightest stars."

A public funeral will be held for Markitzer on friday, in his home town of Trelin in Mothar. A minimum of 400,000 people are expected to attend.

Minister Gebhard von Lettow survives assassination attempt!

Haldor, Kordusia - Minister Gebhard von Lettow of Food and Agriculture, also the deputy party leader of the Konservative Reichspartei, survived an assassination attempt last night thanks to the recently set up Security Department of the KRP. The party's spokesman, Franz Marcks, released the following statement. "On the night of October 14 minister von Lettow was the victim of an ambush on the way to his house. The ambushing terrorists where heavily armed and took out the right front wheel of the car with an IED. The armoured structure of the car minister von Lettow was in and the skillful reaction of the guards escorting him have resulted in the survival of minister von Lettow. Our party mourns the loss of one guard, who we will not name to protect his family. Our party will financially support his family." Minister von Lettow has spent one night in hospital for minor treatments caused by shrapnel and blast pressure. The terrorists retreated after losing three members in a firefight but items found on one of the bodies leads the police to believe that these where members of the Revolutionary Red Army of Workers and Peasants who are also held responsible for the bomb blast in the government district in June.

Rant gets Pfeizzer the sack

Mirolslav Pfeizzer has been removed from his position as head of the Demokratische Partei following a rant which saw him describe the Left Wing of Dorvikan Politics as "lower than dirt" and blame them for any problems which persist in Dorvik at this moment in time. The Party Committee, which handles all matters of Internal Discipline amongst other things, saw it necessarry to remove him from the head of the party, as they were worried that his words would offend not only the left wing parties of the nation and their supporters, but also antagonise the left wing of the Democratic Party itself.

In place of Pfeizzer, Karolina Weiskopf has been promoted from Deputy Leader after the committee unanimously voted for her. Under normal circumstances, a ballot would be taken, but due to the short notice and need for the party to unite under one leader, the committee evoked article 9b of the party charter which allows them to make the decision under "special circumstances". The race for deputy leader will commence next month, with the two front runners surely being Joachim Marin, and Hans Loebeck.
