Kagba - Following failed ceasefire talks the conflict between the Movement for a Democratic Nsanlosa and the Kagban Liberation Front has taken a turn for the worse. Open conflict is now ongoing, as MDN forces have moved to expell the KLF from Haradesa and push towards Kagba proper. 

Just after ceasefire talks collapsed, the KLF proclaimed independence for the "People's Republic of Kagba", officially seceding from Nsanlosa. The MDN transitional council moved to denounce the proclamation, reaffirming the "territorial integrity" of Nsanlosa and announcing a offensive to "remove terrorist elements from Nsanian territory." It has been several days since, with MDN forces succesfully pushing the KLF out of Haradesa Province but progress stalling shortly after. 

While both former allies are now at eachothers throat, the situation in the Military Occupation Zone of Istapali is steadily worsening for remaining Nsanian forces. Shortly after the fall of the Hodari regime, thousands of soldiers defected and crossed the border back into Nsanlosa. Those that remain suffer from a lack of leadership, resources and morale as the new Transitional Council is failing to assert control over the former Hodari military. Coordinated strikes by Istapalian forces have further resulted in heavy casualties and some Nsanian units have been forced to leave their positions, with the MOZ shrinking in size for the first time since the invasion. 

While the Transitional Council continues to press on the preservation of the MOZ, the situation on the ground is quickly becoming critical. Dessertions continue to plague Nsanian ranks and with MDN forces occupied in their offensives against the KLF, their better morale and supplies will likely not alleviate the situation. Prominent members within the MDN have now called for a formal withdrawal from istapali, seeing the continued attempts at occupation as a direct threat to their efforts in ending the new PRK.
