Ruling party sees rift forming
SEPTEMBER 5718—Following tense plenary sessions during the 49th All-Tukarali Party Conference of the National Democratic Front of Tukarali, insiders and analysts say that cadres are bound to split into two distinct ideological divisions, making the Party volatile.
Disagreements on future policy decisions in preparations of the Fourth Five-Year Plan for 5724-5729 and the Eleventh Party Congress to be held in 5723 became a common occurrence as reflected by plenum votes and deadlocks. Experts say that the division hinges on varying perspectives on the future trajectory of Tukarali as a socialist country.
Hardliners of Tukarese National Democracy (TND)—cadres occupying the majority of party leadership posts—posit that TND has now formed its own distinct sociopolitical identity unique to Tukarali in itself, questioning the relevance of Metzist-Leonidist-Ruanist (MLR) thought in policy and procedures.
Whereas reformists for Tukarese People's Democracy—a vocal minority in the Politburo—counter that TND is a localized application of the MLR and that they are synonymous. Reformists harshly critique the complacency of the party administration, getting flack on 'abandoning the primary purpose of TND, which is to form foundations for socialist rule in a people's democracy.'
Effects of this division are yet to manifest as Tukarali declares its disengagement from chasing growth but rather its commitment to building sustainability. Over the past years, Tukarali has taken a slow and steady path to development, prioritizing sustainability metrics over exponential growth. As such, the country has now developed a materially self-sufficient economy through empowering its barangays—the smallest unit of administration—and worker-owned industrial, commercial, and service entities. The Standing Committee of the All-Tukarali People's Congress of Deputies has proudly reported significantly and systematically lowering dependence on food, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.
Culture and humanities saw a boom in the introduction of the palace system, wherein each barangay had its own Palace of Arts and Culture and Palace of the Youth—nodes of proletarian enrichment and youth development. Industry has scaled to produce enough capital to sustain its economic sectors, but trade has yet to improve through specialization efforts. Research and development on the creation of a copper value-added sector are in the works.
But beneath all the hard-earned success, cracks forming with the NDFT may bring everything falling down.

Impaktita crowned Tukarali's drag superstar
April 2, 5720
Condragulations, you're number one! After 6 weeks of intense competition, Sangon-based drag queen Tia Impaktita Dela Fuente, known in the show as Impaktita, was crowned the inaugural winner of the maiden edition of Drag Race Tukarali, edging out 7 other competitors during the finale.
The 51-year old veteran entertainer, known outside her drag persona as Ricardo Dela Fuente, built her name as a legendary staple in Sangon night life — a frequent headliner in drag and LGBTQIA+ themed performances and artistic showcases in queer-oriented clubs downtown.
In a press conference post-coronation, the Drag Race Tukarali winner recounted her journey, even way before the show.
Quote:"It can rather be hard to make your passion your job. It is easier to feel burned out. However, I persevered not because I pursued an endless grind, but because I knew there is a community out there that got my back.", said Dela Fuente, dedicating the win to the country's LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside drag, Dela Fuente is heavily involved in the city's arts. He was elected as Vice President for External Affairs in the Theater and Performing Arts Committee of the Sangon Metropolitan Palace of Culture and the Arts. He was also an elected officer of the Sangon branch of the All-Tukarali Creative Labor Union, a registered labor union under the All-Tukarali Labor Network.
Given his officership in the labor union, he also served a term in the 2nd Sangon Metropolitan People's Political Consultative Conference from 5709-5716, rendering his service specifically under the Committee of Social Equity and Gender Development as Committee Vice-Chairperson.
Because of the queen's immense portfolio of dedication to performance, art, drag, and the LGBTQIA+ community, fans of her and the show believe the win to be a confirmation of her anointment as a living icon, to which Dela Fuente expresses humble gratitude for.
Quote:"I wouldn't be here if it weren't for that sense of hospitality and solidarity that is unique amongst my folk. I promise to myself to never feel like I am above them. I've encountered so many struggles with them. If they never left me behind at my worst, I would never wish to do so even at my best.", said Dela Fuente.
Her close friends also confirmed an upcoming courtesy call visit to the Sangon Metropolitan Executive Committee and a special "victory lap" tour in Sangon's club circuit featuring her Drag Race Tukarali co-alumni, and a planned thanksgiving and charity concert held at the Main Hall of the Sangon Metropolitan Palace of Culture and the Arts.
Completing the winner's circle are Top 4 alternates Serra Marie Cruz, Yuki Inana, and Rita Ebas Corpuz, who also won Miss Congeniality via votes from fellow queens.

Secretary-General Montañez weighs on the Xsampa question: Beware of opportunists.
Comrade Imelda Montañez, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Front of Tukarali, expressed her candor in this year's All-Tukarali Youth League Conference when the question about the struggle between the Custodian and the Democratic Opposition of the Democratic Republic of Xsampa was brought up during Open Dialogue.
Montañez accepted the question from a youth leader, specifically asking how should the proletariat of Tukarali see the conflict in a critical and socialist lens.
Montañez immediately pointed out the overwhelming presence of opportunism that is sowing discord amongst Xsampa's proletarian ranks.
Quote:"Not all those who instigate revolution come with a clear purpose of liberating people. No. A revolution requires a reflection of the material realities as the methods of Metz and Leonid intended. To do otherwise would be hinging your legitimacy on fragile dogma. There I say to everyone, in the global socialist arena, that we should be wary of opportunists. Beware of opportunists. The bourgeiosie has the threat of re-emerging itself as a labor aristocracy. To avoid this path, it is imperative for us to strengthen our practice and adhere to materialist methods of analysis, to engage in local and grassroots solidarity, and to foster discussion that seeks to derive truth from conflict.", said Montañoz.
In relation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently announced its intent to welcome refugees from Xsampa with open arms. Moreover, while it still seeks to maintain official diplomatic relations amidst the chaos, the Ambassador of Tukarali in Xsampa has been immediately called back, leaving the Embassy vacated by the Ambassador. However, consular services will still remain.

On the 25th Year of the National Democratic Revolution – accomplish the Three Horizons!
The year 5725 marks 25 years since the victory of the National Democratic forces in its 30-year struggle against the inefficient machinations of Tukarali’s bourgeoisie antiquities. After 25 years of domestic stability, of ensuring that post-revolutionary tremors have ceased before further expansion of the material base, what is the next step?
The last 25 years of the National Democratic Republic of Tukarali are better described not as a period of stagnancy, but a period of reflection. It is a period of deep assessment of material conditions, of great adjustment to the new socialist status quo that has set itself apart from the archaic norms and customs of the bourgeois past.
With the 25 years of NDR Tukarali having unwaveringly persisted, the hypothesis has been proven. The revolution has been deemed victorious, and it shall now chart a course beyond the shine of its revolutionary exploits.
Thus, the National Democratic Front of Tukarali, by all means having been legally mandated as the politico-ideological vanguard of the Tukarese proletariat and the administrative custodian of the proletarian state, pushes for the Three Horizons, the tripartite agreement in which the country must fulfill with the best of its abilities.
The Three Horizons represent the main objectives of the Tukarese national democracy, starting from the internal material base, to the livelihood of the citizens, and outward to the broader socialist movement.
The Tukarese proletariat shall achieve, in strategic sequence and of equal importance, the Three Horizons that will determine the trajectory of Tukarali's development:
Quote:1. Creation of a regenerative economic base through sustainable and domestic productive forces (the continued commitment to sustainable development and strategic economic expansion anchored on the principle of the common good);
2. Promotion of a life of dignity under the just and revolutionary ideals of Tukarese national democracy (the values of social justice ubiquitously observed, the rights to equality and autonomy rightfully exercised, and the goal of removing alienation structurally fulfilled);
3. Participation in advancing the global revolutionary struggle in harmonious manners, emphasizing proletarian internationalism (the determination of the National Democratic Republic of Tukarali to be a trusted ally to socialist countries and other like-minded nations that understand the just and revolutionary cause in which Tukarali exists).
There is no set deadline for these goals, for it is a lifelong commitment that the proletariat of Tukarali must undergo. As we go far beyond the pages of revolution, let us accomplish the Three Horizons!

ATPCD, ATPCC holds pre-planning for 5th Five-Year Plan
MARCH 5, 5731—The Fifth All-Tukarali Political Congress of Deputies and the Fifth All-Tukarali People's Political Consultative Conference have jointly convened for their first assembly of the 5731 fiscal year to lay out the needed foundations of the 5732-5736 Five-Year Plan at the Central Government Complex in Sangon.
The pre-planning period saw the review and revision of policy drafts presented by the different In-Congress and In-Conference Committees, outlining certain issues that require significant focus for the fifth seven-year electoral cycle. At the end of the week-long session, different areas of key focus were determined for this year in accordance with the government's holistic initiative of the Three Horizons.
Addressing logistics and resource allocation
Many of the lingering issues presented stem from the frictions regarding productivity, capability of amenities, resource capacity, and equitable distribution. Deputies of both the Congress and the Conference have argued that Tukarali must append its existing strategies of resource management. A strong initiative pushed is for the country to develop its information technology sector to create a comprehensive nationwide cybernetic network, which would allow for the promotion of 'data-driven and evidence-based governance.'
Growing demand of the labor market
Representatives from workers' unions have argued that Tukarese labor market is experiencing skills mismatch, crippling chances for global mobility and the ability of worker-owned enterprises to be competitive in the Terran market. Moreover, members from the education sector have seconded this observation, stating that recent pedagogical studies seem to favor the shift to competency-based and outcomes-based education rather than content-based and other traditional models of curriculum design. The collective opinion then suggests a full-sweep educational reform.
Green energy and industrial expansion
Industrial and environmental advocates have noted Tukarali's 30-year strategy for steady and sustainable growth. postponing widespread development to be able to sustain strong foundations. They now argue that Tukarali is now capable of pivoting to expansion of local industries and independence from coal and fossil fuels as primary source of energy in the country. Emphasis on creating a state-of-the-art copper industry running on renewable energy is noted as a 'mega-project' take in consideration.
The final plan is expected to be drafted around the fourth quarter of 5731, with full implementation starting on January 5732.

Cybernetic project T-SYNK to run via copper landlines
JUNE 5735—The Central Executive Council of the All-Tukarali People's Congress of Deputies has announced the completion of T-SYNK, a nationwide cybernetic project launched as the capstone of the Fifth Five Year Plan of the National Democratic Republic of Tukarali.
The project involved the domestic creation of dedicated analog terminals for factories, farms, hospitals, schools, churches, cultural venues, and defense institutions across the local, municipal, metropolitan, provincial, and nationwide levels for the purpose of easing logistics through a dedicated communication channel.
IN PHOTO: The T-SYNK Project cybernetic system explainer as published by the State Planning Ministry.
Using the country's legacy copper telephone lines, terminals provide aggregate data on resources, identifying bottlenecks and patterns to enhance data-driven and evidence-based approaches in creating the country's five-year plans.
Moreover, the T-SYNK cybernet also functions as a disaster risk reduction and crisis management system, as terminals operate in algedonic loops to notify higher-level authorities of unmanageable surplus or deficits in resources.
The National CEC expects the T-SYNK Project to "resolve the lingering issues exacerbating discrepancies in Tukarese central planning". Meanwhile, the National Democratic Front of Tukarali endorses the measure, asserting that "enhancing the computing power of the planned economy allows the socialist revolution to prosper".

Kill switch for coal: Tukarali preps for green grid
JULY 12, 5742–After a decades-long commitment to developing its renewable resources, the Ministry of Energy of the National Democratic Republic of Tukarali has announced that it will begin its formal stages of phasing out coal power as primary source of electrical power in the country.
This is believed to be the result of the continuous commitment of the country in maintaining its existing hydroelectric power plants and the construction of various high dams, micro, small, and medium-scale hydropower, and run-of-river hydroelectricity. The development of these diverse plants provides a stable source for the national grid and providing consistent rural electrification in remote areas of the country.
As energy audits, quality management, and systemic maintenance have confirmed, Tukarali’s hydropower capacity can safely provide around 90% of the country’s annual electricity demand. Thus, the Ministry of Energy is now preparing for the ‘kill switch’, pushing for the expansion of wind and solar energy to close the gap and redirect all coal reserves strictly for productive industrial use and never for electricity generation anymore.
Supporting the push are parallel efforts working in tandem to ensure a secure energy base for export-led expansion: installation of capacitors and high-end voltage lines for reduced waste and thermodynamic efficiency in residential commercial, and industrial sectors, comprehensive electrification to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, expanded investment on electrified public transportation, the drafting of an energy-for-resource exchange trade framework for neighboring Seleyan countries using possible energy surplus for economic growth and transnational diplomacy, and scientific research and development on effective and emissions-free utilization of coal and copper reserves of the country.
