CultPro reform for Utari Mosi - Replacing Ainu language?
#7
I think that this is looking pretty good so far; RP regarding this region has seen local Ahmadism being strong in Mina and the eastern parts of North Dovani whilst Hosianism has been an influence in central North Dovani and Ostland, so maybe Utaristan could have a similar Ahmadist/Hosian divide with elements of folk religion. Because Uzbeks and Uyghurs are both predominantly Islamic IRL, it could also make sense to have the nation simply be Ahmadist.

Saying that the Utari language has gone extinct may be a bit harsh given that internal PT RP has continuously portrayed Utari Mosir as a native Utari-speaking place. Whilst Ainu may have largely disappeared from today's IRL world, PT already suspends disbelief so it would not be necessary to completely kill it off just to fit with our real world.  I would suggest modifying the CP proposal to say that Utari is still alive, but that it is uncommon and rural. If you're really insistent on killing it off then hopefully it could at least be RP-ed in the span of several posts instead of abruptly going out like this.

I understand the retention of Hulstrians due to the colonial past. However, if you want the ethnic makeup to reflect something similar to Central Asia may I suggest the possible addition of some ethnicities based on other Turkic ethnicities like Kyrgyz or Qaraqalpaqlar peoples? I think it might help the nation stand out and maintain a unique sense of identity.
