Massive reforms to welfare announced as the government begins a mass literacy and anti poverty campaign, Child labour and the caste system strangled by Vikas: dragging the empire into the 57th century

Kamalata, Vascania. While the ministry of industry and economic development is busy implementing the mass industrialization projects launched by the government, the office of the prime minister announced that the ministry of health and family welfare will begin massively reforming the welfare system of the empire. The reforms will mainly focus on eliminating the bureaucracy and corruption plaguing the system alongside massive budget hikes to the ministry in order to help finance their efforts, the ministry also announced that they will cooperated with the Ministry of Education to begin a mass literacy campaign in urban and rural areas with the latter being especially affected and the main priority due to most adults being considered illiterate and still rely on signs and icons to help them function in their daily life. Furthermore, prime minister Vikas announced that child labour is now outlawed alongside the caste system as he declared, "Our mighty empire must develop and meet the societal standards of the 57th century wether we like it or not, this comes by banning child labour and begin dismantling the caste system that stratified our society by making entire sections of it being considered as pariahs. As such, I am happing to announce that the emperor has blessed our mission to destroy every factory, workshop, and institution that use children within their workforce alongside a full on crackdown on all and any measures that outcasts our citizens in their own glorious country ." In addition, Vikas held a press conference in which he outlined the government's plan to begin the construction of public housing and urbanization of rural villages to help break the seal around parts of the country and allow for greater cohesion and unity in society and economy.
