3 new major banks emerge in Vascania amidst economic reforms, martial law lifted over Rapa Pile: time for some backdoor deals
Kamalata, Vascania. For the past 4 years, the Vascanian government has been focused on reforming the empire under the leadership of prime minister Vikas who has taken a personal approach to many issues. After launching a literacy campaign and a malaria vaccine program alongside the construction of at least 600k social housing units every year, the government now focuses on the economy and more specifically the banking sector which has seen a massive boom ever since Vikas took over the empire and cemented his control through a military coup that purged opposition forces from the political system alongside fiercely attacking and disarming all resistance groups which in turn strangled almost all disstabilizing factors within Vascania. As such, the government announced the start of an official partnership between the Ministry of Finance and the 3 major banks of Vascania, those being the being the Vascania Bank also known as the Imperial Bank of Vascania, the Ustal Kalam Nadu Bank and the North Vascania Bank, those three will specifically help install more confidence from foreign investors and help restore the empire's prestige economically. In addition, martial law has been officially lifted over the Rapa Pile archipelago as part of the economic reforms by aiming to revive the tourist industry in the islands after the last cells of Rapa Pilese resistance were crushed by the Vascanian Imperial Army and their leaders were even arrested and executed on charges of terrorism and treason for being allegedly funded by foreign forces. Overall the economic and social situation in Vascania is begining it improve at a satisfying pace, only time will tell if Vikas is successful in his gambit.
