Kundrati and Istalia: strange bedfellows in the movie industry

Istalia and Kundrati have not had much in the way of joint industries. Long ago, they shared the defense market with Beiteynu when the trio was Beiteynu's only chums in international relations. However, recently, there has been talk about a joint movie company for Istalia and Kundrati.

In cooperation with TerraMedia from Istalia and Lirnak Investment Bank of Kundrati, Kadyn Film Company (KFC) was founded to provide expensive films for the mass market. Founded by a trio of Istalians, Innocenzo Barillaro, Pierluigi Gillotti, and Kundrati's Pindaro Inchaurreta, the trio founded KFC to provide Kundrati's media market with something long-lasting. Kundrati doesn't have many Indigenous film studios, mainly importing television and movie content, while Istalia was the lead market for producing films and TV.

KFC has already begun to build its first film studio in northeastern Kadyn, which is expected to be completed sometime in 5562. The studio is expected to have numerous sound stages, production areas, and various other facilities to allow the studio to make its own film and TV products. With the assistance of TerraMedia, KFC is expected to begin working on their first few films from 5562 onwards on their set, with advisors from Istalia providing the necessary experience and assistance to their Kundrati counterparts. Tomasadyn National will provide some funding alongside the Lirnak Investment Bank and Italian banks to allow the company to get through its first few years.

Another company has also been founded, this time for the television industry. Istalorati (a portmanteau of Istalia and Kundrati) was founded with Tomasadyn National and Lirnak Investment Bank money to provide television content to Artania in general. They're building their own space in Leuansk, Pilgon, and it is expected to have similar facilities as the KFC studio.

Istalorati will also have Istalian funding and assistance from Istalian television producers Mediagroup S.p.A. Said television producers are there to provide their own guidance and assistance to their Kundrati counterparts as they produce their first television programs. The goal is to start making general television programming by the year 5560. Mediagroup is also well regarded in the Istalian television history for various hit dramas and television shows. It is hoped that Istalorati will be able to provide Artanians with the best in homegrown television programming.

Kundrati Foreign Minister Jaizkibel Garaycochea to perform a round of state visits, comments on the ongoing geopolitical situation.

Kundrati Foreign Minister Jaizkibel Garaycochea has announced that he will send his team to various countries to expand Kundrati's trade opportunities.

Garaycochea intends to visit Hobrazia alongside President Andrelopa Arruzabarrena to hash out a trade deal. The two countries (Hobrazia and Kundrati) have not had many opportunities to trade with each other, and Foreign Minister Garaycochea intends to ensure that Kundrati can trade with more Artanian nations. As of now, Kundrati primarily trades with Luthori and Dundorf, given its long-standing ties with these countries. It is hoped that Kundrati can also establish a long-standing trade relationship with Hobrazia.

Garaycochea would also like to visit Tukarali and Likatonia on a "Seleyan tour" to promote Kundrati businesses and reestablish trading relationships with these countries. Likatonia and Tukarali have been allies long ago with Kundrati, to the point where defense ties were established (and are still there in Likatonia's case); however, the ongoing relationship is hoped to blossom further. Plans to visit Valruzia, on the other hand, have been canceled due to statements coming out from Valruzia that indicate hostility towards Kundrati's business over lies relating to Kundrati's relationship with Kalistan.

Garaycochea also wishes to visit Gaduridos to promote the new trade relationship regarding oil transportation, as Gaduridos is a major exporter of oil and natural gas. However, details have not been confirmed regarding this part of the "tour."

Finally, Garaycochea will travel to Lourenne at some point to attend the funeral of the late monarch of the country. He, the President, and various other Cabinet members are expected to remain in Lourenne for the mourning period and possibly to promote cross-country trade between the two states.

When pressed for comment regarding the situation with Dorvik and the rest of Artania, the foreign minister said:

While Narikaton/Darnussia and Kundrati have many differences, we both agree that Dorvik at this current moment is harming the current geopolitical situation in Artania. We do not take kindly to Dorvish leaders thinking their peers are lesser than them, as per their latest statement. We will do our part to stabilize Artania. Dorvik only has to try to do the same.

When a journalist mentioned how Kundrati was not mentioned in the Dorvish statement, he chuckled and responded, "I guess we're doing something right if we aren't being mentioned."

The foreign minister was also asked about the idea of a northern Seleyan confederation, to which he said:

We are not Seleyan and we will defer to our friends and allies regarding that matter.

President of Kundrati Christian Åkerlund Mnesilochus Santoro Kafuricus (CAMSK) appears at groundbreaking ceremony for a major business centre.

The President of Kundrati, Christian Åkerlund Mnesilochus Santoro Kafuricus (more known by his abbreviation CAMSK), has arrived in Keita, Jildrath Mainland, for a trip through the city.

The tour of the city began a few days ago with hopes that the city could be revitalized as a new international finance and business center. CAMSK visited the factories that spotted the exterior of Keita, meeting with workers and managers who told him about their outputs and the like. The local party leaders also advised him to encourage additional factory construction northwest of the city, which is expected to receive additional infrastructure expansion, including more railway connections and even a dedicated cargo airport.

In addition to visiting those areas, CAMSK visited the city's downtown and enjoyed a day looking at and even buying some luxury products that were being sold in the main department stores and the smaller outlets. He said that companies should continue to promote their products here as it encourages more competition and helps the economy. He also noted how some of the buildings were empty without clients and, in a statement, encouraged more entrepreneurs to enter the city and try their luck in Keita.

The last day of the tour was dedicated to a new major business center. Located in the southeast of the city, the new Keita International Business Centre (KIBC) is expected to contain 15 buildings. Nine of the buildings will be dedicated office space for international companies to expand into, two of these skyscrapers will become luxury hotels, and the rest will be dedicated apartments that are expected to be sold to businesspeople and the like.

CAMSK laid down the first block of the first building during a grand groundbreaking ceremony. Tomasadyn National is expected to set up its Artanian headquarters in the KIBC complex, while Etxean Bank and ArtSat will make the KIBC their full-time headquarters. The hope is that by 5600, the complex will be fully complete and open for business. As more money is poured into the Keita business and transportation sectors, the complex will also contain a dedicated bus terminal and at least two subway stations.

Kundrati's ArtSat announces they plan to expand to Xsampa and, in Seleya, states they will begin to "spam" space with satellites

Today, it was announced that ArtSat, the satellite Internet service offered by the same name company, would begin service 5565 in nations like Xsampa and Gaduridos.

ArtSat executives were spotted in Gaduridos and Xsampa talking with local officials and relevant officials in order to figure out a deal to expand ArtSat into these two nations. A deal was reportedly found as ArtSat announced these moves. In order to expand with the deal, ArtSat added that they will begin to use the Northern Cosmodrome, almost reaching 100 years of age, to work on expanding service to most of Terra. To get this done, they have begun to reach out to international rocket makers to figure out how many satellites can fit onto each rocket and how ArtSat can work with these suppliers. They are also working with the Kundrati government to figure out how to create rockets that can carry these satellites with the desire that, by 5575, they could "...spam the whole of space with our satellites!".

ArtSat is Kundrati's number one satellite Internet provider, and as satellite Internet is becoming popular in Kundrati, so are ArtSat's profits. With that comes the desire to expand to other nations. ArtSat mentioned that with this move to Gaduridos and Xsampa, they wished to expand into the market in Seleya and Dovani, respectively. They commented that satellite Internet could be used "...from the jungle to the forest and even in the farm and the city..." noting how anyone can set up a satellite dish and get high-speed satellite Internet after getting a subscription.

With this move, ArtSat also announced they will cut prices on their subscription. People who want to buy a satellite will now pay 400 Kuno as a one-time fee to set up the satellite dish that is sent to them. They will then pay 90 Kuno monthly to continue using the service for people who want their Internet in a fixed location. If they want their internet to be used away from their home (considered roaming), the price increases to 110 Kuno a month, though due to capacity, they will be prioritized less in terms of service speeds. Prices will be lower in Xsampa and Gaduridos.

Kundrati's ArtSat announces a further expansion to Mordusia and Zardugal

ArtSat officials were spotted in Zardugal and Mordusia months ago, meeting with officials from these countries to discuss expanding their satellite internet service to them. Expanding to Mordusia and Zardugal, in particular, will allow ArtSat to establish a further foothold in Seleya and Majatra.

It was announced today that ArtSat will begin offering their services to Mordusian and Zardugal customers in January 5567 after working with officials from these countries over regulations and how to work with customers. The same satellite internet available in Kundrati and Xsampa will be available at the same price as in Kundrati with the hopes that satellite service will continue to expand in Seleya, Artania, and Majatra with the CEO saying that as of today, ArtSat has 6 million customers throughout Kundrati and Xsampa with hopes that they could get to 15 million by 5575.

However, the capacity of ArtSat's satellite internet is small due to the small number of satellites already being used by ArtSat. As a result, internet speeds have slowed down a fair bit, according to consumers. However, the Kundrati government, on ArtSat's behalf, has allowed ArtSat to use Kundrati's access to existing consumer satellites under the government's control to expand capacity for the time being until ArtSat launches its satellites. ArtSat is also renting other satellites that provide internet to make up for the company's growth.

Work on ArtSat making its own satellites continues unabated, and it is hoped that the first satellites can launch in 5572.

Kunoilorg established as the state oil conglomerate of the Kundrati Union.

It has been announced today that the Kundrati portion of the KirKu oil company, alongside other oil companies that the Kundrati government owns, will be merged into the new state organization for oil called Kunoilorg.

Kunoilorg was founded in order to consolidate the nascent Kundrati oil industry. While Kundrati has no oil deposits inside her borders, the Union has taken a keen interest in exploiting or working with oil providers to exploit oil in various locations near Artania. This includes KirKu's usage of parts of the oil and natural gas outside of the Dorvish EEZ. Such usage has helped to build a small oil industry as oil moves through to Kundrati for processing. However, as Dorvik starts to rise in power again, there is a likelihood that Dorvik will attempt to stop these actions.

Thus, we head into the South Ocean and the Mad Dog Ocean. The Mad Dog Ocean, east of Kundrati, has Level I oil and natural gas deposits - not enough for complete reliance, but enough to exploit it to some degree. The South Ocean is considered Level II, meaning they have more oil and natural gas that nations can rely on to a more significant degree, but not to the extent that they can easily export it to multiple countries. Kundrati has easy access to both oceans. Thus, Kundrati could get the ball rolling on oil exploitation opportunities in these oceans.

That is what Kunoilorg is expected to do. Kunoilorg representatives said that they have already begun to work with international oil export and exploitation experts to figure out how to use these resources and move them to Kundrati for further export. Construction of processing facilities, additional storage, and more have also begun with the expectation that they will be finished by 5578 in total and 5572 in part. Kunoilorg, because of their work with international oil export experts, has also said that they expect to begin building their first oil platforms in the South Ocean and the Mad Dog Ocean by 5570. They wish to start offering oil and natural gas energy services by 5572. The remaining oil will be sold to the international market through the Vamaj or put into a strategic reserve.

Kunoilorg begins operations in the Mad Dog Ocean earlier than expected.

In a statement to the media today, Kunoilorg announced that they would begin to open three oil platforms earlier than expected due to the sinking of an oil tanker in Vascania, which was under the protection and service of the Vamaj network. Pirates seized the tanker, and the oil was sacrificed. Such actions have risked major oil delivery disruptions in the area, which is vital for nations that rely on the Vascanian sector for international waters.

Thus, in that statement, Kunoilorg mentioned that while they are set on ensuring that the remaining oil platforms would be phased in by 5578 they would begin to amp up oil production to offset any oil disruption that comes as a result of the Vascanian sector of international waters becoming more dangerous to oil supply and demand. Kunoilorg mentioned that, as part of the Vamaj Network, they are also responsible for expanding oil production, as a supplier of oil and natural gas, when the Vamaj Network requires it. Kunoilorg has judged that the situation involves beginning operations in the Mad Dog Ocean.

The oil will be transported to Vamaj-affiliated ports and infrastructure in Kundrati and elsewhere for processing and other similar purposes. Service will begin immediately.

As Kundrati businesses expand into Pontesi, the Kundrati government takes notice of the Pontesi-Istalian Conflict

Kundrati companies have already begun to work with their Pontesian counterparts to expand into resource-rich Pontesi. This includes various mining companies with experience with uranium and mining-related companies starting to work with their counterparts. Pontesian company Clodius-Babayan, known for their products from phosphorus and sulfuric acids, have agreed to work with Kundrati companies to provide them with knowledge on working with phosphorus like fertilizer, steel frames and construction materials, and coal processing. Kundrati mining companies have also expressed interest in working with Pontesian counterparts on silicon and diamond processing, the former being vital for Kundrati's tech industry and the latter for Kundrati's luxury goods industry, which needs work.



Kundrati companies like ArtSat have also begun to work with navigation company Azkan Navitech on AI software through their latest subsidiary, ArtInt (Artanian Intelligence). ArtInt has only started this year, but they expect to work with AI to expand into Kundrati with AI software and hardware. With Azkan Navitech of Pontesi, they hope to harness ArtSat's burgeoning satellite network to expand navigation coverage to Kundrati and expand on navigation and AI coverage in Pontesi with the hopes that Kundrati can catch up on AI.



This is not to mention that Kundrati Defense Contractors and Kunoilorg have begun to seek interest in the Pontesian market. The former hopes to build defense production factories in Pontesi for the Beiteynuese and Jelbic markets and the latter wants to map out Pontesi to see if there is any untapped natural gas or oil in the area, alongside potential work on expanding Pontesi's oil and natural gas distribution infrastructure.



All of these trade potentials resulted from negotiations with Pontesi over trade rights and other issues. Pontesi representatives have been invited to Kasaema to discuss further trade.



However, with all those trade benefits being said, one big thing is hovering in the air: whether Kundrati will contribute to an embargo against Istalia. The Kundrati foreign office states in the following statement:



We are not interested at this time in contributing to a significant conflict in Majatra and strongly hope that both sides can come to an agreement. Kundrati is willing to work with both partners to resolve this conflict.

University of Kundrati, Kasaema engineers design potential Subway plan for Kaliburg, Kalistan

Engineers from the University of Kundrati in Kasaema came back from a fourteen-week trip to examine Kaliburg with colleagues from Kalistan, its soil, buildings, and the like to determine if the city, also known as the capital of Kalistan, should get a subway service for the local populace. The result was an overwhelming yes, and not only that, an ambitious plan to create one of the largest subway systems in Terra.

The designers, whose map you can view here, based their plans on a map of Kaliburg provided to them by colleagues from the local Kaliburg Polytechnic University. Using the map above and noting the soil history of the city and other factors, the engineers set to work and produced an extensive subway system for the city. This includes lines serving almost all of the city with underground portions in the city center and overground or uncovered portions in eastern Kaliburg, especially in Igloo and Lolla/Gollo. The five-line service connects Kaliburg Terminal to the Republican University Embassy Row and other essential areas of the capital.

The engineers also took into account the fact that the area is more prone to earthquakes. As a result, any subway tunnel would be reinforced with anti-earthquake measures, and any rolling stock would also have to be designed in a way that can either come to a complete stop in the event of an emergency or slowly make its way to the next stop before relieving itself of its passengers. The tunnels will also have ventilation features and numerous emergency exits in emergencies.

The engineers are expected to meet with local officials and the Kalistani government to work out the kinks of the potential system and determine whether portions of the plan need to be expanded. The engineers believe that, if approval is found immediately, the first few stations are expected to begin operating by 5580, with the entire set of lines to be completed by 5599 at the latest.
