Kundrati Crisis: Legionnaires attempt to infiltrate the Union with many failures as a team visits Luthori for aid

The Armed Forces of Kundrati spokesperson and former President Alan Bienenueva announced today that the Kundrati Legion's operation to infiltrate the Armed Forces and the Kundrati Union side resulted in many Legionaires' failures.

Spokesperson Bienenueva said that in the effort, around 75 people were arrested, and another 170 were sent for questioning as a result of this effort. The suspicion was that the Legionnaires planted these individuals to perform various attacks like terrorism of cities and sabotage of railways and roadways, among other multiple acts intended to sow fear in the Union and prevent our soldiers from acting further in the country.

Due to the state of martial law, 75 people will be tried at a military court, and the other 170 will be kept for an unlimited amount of time until their guilt or innocence can be determined. The head of the Armed Forces clarified that the saboteurs would be punished according to their actions and plans.

In other news, a Kundrati (Union) Foreign Office team went to Fort William for various secret negotiations that we can now share. These negotiations were over whether Luthorian Armed Forces units could participate in the conflict, the legal aspects of the act, and whether Kundrati could get loans and aid in equipment.

The talks come as rumors abound over whether Kalistani partisans may or may not remain, and there are growing fears that Kalistan will leave the conflict. While those rumors have been denounced as untrue so far, there is sadness due to the Kalistani partisans already bringing their much-loved culture across the Artanian Sea.

Kundrati Crisis: The Kundrati Foreign Legion is raised for foreign volunteers to sign up in

To encourage foreigners to volunteer on the side of the Kundrati Union, the President of Kundrati announced today that he will form the Foreign Legion of the Kundrati Armed Forces, which will cater exclusively to individuals of foreign citizenship or individuals with dual citizenship who may otherwise not be able to join the Kundrati Armed Forces on their own.

The terms of the Foreign Legion, in terms of individuals, are either a 24-month or 48-month service with combatant and non-combatant roles like providing medical assistance. They can also serve on behalf of an organization whose terms may be determined by its rules. All military groups who wish to sign up must remain for the remainder of the conflict or until their governments recall them.

The Foreign Legion will be used just like any regiment of the national army, though depending on some factors, it may be sent on specialized missions. The Foreign Legion will also be structured like any regular army group, with specialized regiments for military groups or nationalities.

The Foreign Legion will begin training immediately, and their first jobs will be performed in January 5587.

Kundrati Crisis: The Kundrati Legion launches chemical weapon attacks

The last time there was a civil war in Kundrati, there were no records of chemical weapons being used by either side. While there was a ton of psychological warfare and a ton of other various methods to cause problems against each side, it hadn't come to flagrantly violating international law.

Until this month.

This month was the start of the Winter Offensive, where Kundrati Legionnaires attacked in the general direction from most of their current positions. Most notably, attacks from Kasaema and positions in the north held by the KL have started with constant battles from both sides trying to stop each other from gaining an advantage. However, reports have come in that chemical weapons like mustard gas have been fired against the Armed Forces.

These chemical weapons have required quarantining measures and separate tents and measures to deal with the effects of chemical weapons exposure. Unfortunately, the Armed Forces confirmed that the KL attacked using chemical weapons in various surprise attacks that had resulted in many not donning their gas masks before the effects of chemical warfare affected them. So far, tens have died, and thousands have been exposed to the attack. The KIA count, as a result, has skyrocketed, and it is expected not to stop for another couple of months as it is suspected the Legion has made enough stockpiles to use the chemical weapons for a months-long campaign.

The Armed Forces have begun to take measures to stop the spread of chemical warfare exposure, including retreats wherever possible. As for the rest of the campaign, what will happen is yet to be seen.

Kundrati Crisis: "Winter Offensive" by the Kundrati Legion spectacularly fails after three months

And so it was thus.

The Kundrati Legion has attempted to push out of its territory over the last few months. From December 5586, it has tried to link up with its forces throughout the country to prevent the Union from linking up with its troops and causing its massive attack. Yet, during these attacks, the Legion made several blunders that damaged its resolve.

Earlier in the campaign, chemical weapons were used against the Union with various casualties. We can confirm now that around 700 troops have died as a result of the chemical warfare alongside another 3,700 troops who have had some injury or disease as a result of the chemical warfare attacks - though unusually, the chemical warfare has not had much of an impact on the battle itself.

Legion attacks were persistent: in January alone, there were 60 attempts by the Legionnaires throughout the country to expand their territory to link up with each other. Every single one of those attempts has failed, alongside the many attempts in December and in February. The Kundrati Air Force and the infantry units were especially busy during this time, with them downing many Legionaire Air Force units and causing massive amounts of casualties to the Legion. So far, at least 25,000 Legionnaires have either been killed or wounded, though we have yet to independently confirm how many of those were killed and how many were merely wounded.

Yet it is clear the Winter Offensive was a massive failure. The Union troops have not only managed to hold on, but they have also caused massive damage to Legionaire troops and put a halt to their momentum for now.

It remains to be seen where the civil war will go, though at least there will be some celebrations south of Kasaema.

As the war rages onward ever towards the final victory, great news emerges from our western front, as a massive offensive launched in conjunction nearly 100,000 men succeeded in a rapid blitz of the traitor army positions, capturing a vast swathe of territory and finally uniting the divided pockets of our forces in the locality. With the KPP rapidly in retreat from the region the banner of the legion flies gloriously over the land, bringing freedom and justice with it in its wake. Traitors dragged from their holes, hands dripping with innocent blood were spared no mercy by both our men and the civilians who suffered many atrocities for simply voting KL in the election.

New arms arrive from foreign powers as the increasing evidence of the KPP's treason becomes aware all over Terra, millions in finances and all sorts of weapons have arrived from every corner of the globe. Our eternal gratitude to our mysterious benefactors as they supply the army of freedom against a tyrannical army hell bent on savagery and deceit. Kundrati Crisis: Pilgon has been liberated, and the Battle of Leuansk slowly ramps up

Soldiers willing to talk to the Kasaema Guardian have said that Lirnak and the Jildrathi Mainland have been liberated from the Kundrati Legion after a month-long offensive, which has left only the city of Leuansk and the area around the capital Kasaema as lands in Pilgon occupied by the Legion. The battle was tough but over in less than a month. Today, the President of Kundrati announced that Jildrath was liberated and that Pilgon was about 85% so.

The offensive has resulted in around 36,000 casualties, both dead and wounded. Tens of thousands of troops on both sides fought very hard near Aethansk (the famed city of the first Kundrati Emergency, where the city was destroyed in a colossal battle), at the border with Peghonai, and the area near Leuansk. The battle was bloody, given the tenacity of the Union and Legion forces. The fight also resulted in soldiers from the Foreign Legion being used for the second time. They were sent for a possible offensive in Lirnak, which failed for the Union. The Foreign Legion will now be sent to attack, alongside the regular army, the city of Leuansk, which remains under Legionaire control.

The President of Kundrati, Tiberius Claudius Aroain, has said that while it is unfortunate that Lirnak was nearly lost, he was happy to note that offensives can be conducted in the north to ensure that the Legion can be cut off from any chance of taking any port and keeping the Legionnaires isolated for a last battle towards Lirnak. Until then, he noted, the fight will continue. The President also condemned a recent report that foreign guns were arriving at the doorstep of the Legion, stating that those supplies may cause fears that certain nations support fascism and Ordosocialism.

However, the focus remains now: conquer the North and surround Lirnak. Defensive positions are already being made in the recently acquired areas with the intent to surround Lirnak wherever possible. Where the war will go will remain in question.

Due to the ongoing internal rebellion, it is currently unsafe to allow regular travel through our exclusive economic zone, airspace and through our borders. Due to the seizure of the state of Lirnak, which borders neighboring Dundorf, by the Kundrati Legion-aligned forces we hereby order the following:

• All of our exclusive economic zones, borders in the sea, air and land, alongside all airspace throughout the Kundrati Union, shall close.
  
• Ships, aircraft, or persons that attempt to cross through the border or EEZ in any way must contact an authorized representative of the Interior Ministry for permission to do so, ro must present documents that can be verified that they have special permission to cross or enter through our territory. It is up to the Interior Ministry or the Office of the President of Kundrati whether these persons or cargo can stay and for how long they can do so.
  
• All ships, aircraft, or persons that attempt to cross through the border or EEZ in any way, without seeking permission in any way or providing documents that can be verified, or refuse to do so once prompted, will be liable to seizure or arrest. Soldiers and persons patrolling these areas who are unable to detain these individuals or cargo shall have permission to shoot to kill, or shoot to destroy, said persons or cargo.
  
• This order shall remain active for an indefinite period pending a notice by the Office of the President that revokes this order. Orders arising from the Kundrati Legion or their aligned government shall not be recognized.

Our Glorious comrade Sládek after a daring raid in his hidden prison cell in Extea was not only released by our brave special forces, but the profligate meeting of the KPP in the royal mansion once owned by the Kalistani dogs was eradicated in a miraculous plot by our commissariat. Agents of the legion infiltrated both armed forces and staff of the grandiose party, executing without mercy all the KPP heads responsible for the anarchy of the nation. Comrade Sládek spoke on national television announcing that we are now in complete control of the country, and without any obstacles remaining internally our glorious vision of a bright Kundrati future is at our fingertips! The rest of the KPP's loyalist armed forces laid down their arms and the nation has come completely under Legion supervision, with many receiving amnesty and rejoining the ranks, leaders of the rebellion have been sentenced to death, as of now 983 generals, officers, and mayors were executed by firing squad in the last weeks.

Members of Strike Team Puma are being each awarded the Order Of The Fatherland, our nations new highest award given to them by Supreme Leader Sládek himself personally during a ceremony in Kasaema, the same being given to those agents in operation Death Blow. Millions came out in the streets in support, as a massive military parade was hosted with 50,000 veterans of the Kundrati Crisis marching in unison for the fatherland. Gallows were erected near the goose stepping columns of Legionary Guard, the corpses of the old would be leader of the KPP Tiberius and many of his heads of staff were joined swinging from the ropes in godly judgement. Our cause is just, our goal is holy, our leader is infallible, with Sládek on our side nothing awaits but victory!
