The members of the National Conservative Party would like to express their total disgust and sorrow due the murder of President Sarah Furhat of the Liberal Democratic Party. Today we will mourn the death of our dear comrade, but tomorrow we shall do everything possible to ensure that this can and will never happen again. We order the Conservative Army of Kalistan garrison of each district to fire ten rifle volleys from teams of ten men, the ten symbolizing President Furhat's ten years in office. We'll also be ordering the Minuteman Battalion in Kaliburg to guard government buildings and we'll offer all politicians across Kalistan squads from CAK's irregular forces.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruce Nicholson to Act as Interim President !

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruce Nicholson has been chosen as the Interim President of the Republic until the Elections in June. Meanwhile LDP headquarters have elected Jason Kenway to be chosen as the new Chairman of the Party although there has been no candidacy or declaration of a Congress as of yet. Jason Kenway has yet to comment however our sources confirm that he is gearing up for a potential Presidential Run and will accept the invitation of the LDP to take charge. He is expected to continue the Pro-Capitalist and Libertarian stance of the LDP however on top of that,his reported ideas on “Federalism” and “reducing Central control” may also effect and change LDP policy. Many suggest that his speech given a week after the death of her wife which read:”She was my soul-mate. My one true love,friend,partner in this world. She was the thing that kept me happy. And now although she is gone,her inspiration,motivation and hard-word still lives on,in each and everyone of us. We will all work as hard as possible to keep her legacy alive and do what she always did, Make Kalistan better and better.” was a clear sign that he was planning on taking the mantle and leading the Party and maybe Country. Meanwhile investigations are still going according to the executive order of Interim President Nicholson to find out if the Gunman acted alone or had any ties.

Kenway wins Presidency ! LDP continues Majority !

Jason Kenway which took the helm of Chairman of the LDP and was chosen the LDP Candidate for President of the Republic after Sarah Furhat’s assassination,ran an election campaign which he promised would “make his late wife proud” and Won a crushing victory against the NCP-UKWF-LRP endorsed Socialist Candidate Joseph Hill. On the other hand the LDP retained their comfortable lead in Parliament. Jason Kenway in his victory speech stated:”This is a massive victory against the enemies of Liberty and the LDP. They can shoot us all they want but Our ideas are and always will be bulletproof and the fight for Liberty will forever stand strong ! Long live Free and Capitalist Kalistan !”. It will be very interesting to see how the former Diplomat and Prime Minister will run the LDP and the Presidency and what kind of policy he will pursue however one thing is for certain,the people of Kalistan have put their trust on Kenway !

Third in a String of Terrorist Attacks Strikes the Home of Governor Grant Carver

The Still-Burning Ruins of Governor Grant Carver's Home After the Explosion of an Incendiary Bomb

Over the past few years, there has been a rising in acts of terrorism in Kalistan, starting with explosion of a car bomb outside of a CAK base in Kaliburg back in March 4544 and most recently with the assassination of President Sarah Furhat by a gun-toting psychopath last February. Kalistan was truck again by terrorists after the June elections when an incendiary bomb was detonated outside of the home of the newly elected Governor of Neveras, Grant Carver. Fortunately, the Carver family was out of the home at the time of the explosion and nobody was harmed, but the home and all of the Carver family possessions within burnt to a crisp during the fire following the explosion. The Maridon division Kalistan Fire Department were quick to react to the explosion, however couldn't make it to the house in time due to heavy traffic and the large distance between the station and the Governor's home.

Police expect this to be an act of terror after multiple witness reports of four shady people wearing Patriotic League campaign clothing loitering around the house who had hastily vacated the area minutes before the explosion. The Maridon and National Police departments are currently searching for people with the following descriptions:

• A tall tanned white man with with short brown hair.A pale white woman of average height with long brown hair.A tall muscular black man with a shaved head.A short portly pale white man with a blonde pony tail, a stubble neckbeard, and a goatee.

The police requests that citizens report any possible clues as to the identities or whereabouts of these suspects.

Governor Grant Carver gave the following statement to reporters:

It seems to me that Kalistan is under siege. Under siege by those who wish to use violence and harm others in order to reach their political goals. I don't know who it is who has decided to attack the NCP and LDP, though I do have my suspicions, but I do know one thing: They will fail. They will force the overwhelming force of all Kalistanis everywhere if they believe they intimidate us into submission. It will be the freedom fighters in the National Assembly, from the UKWF to the LDP, who ensure they never gain political power. It will be our brave police who hunt them down and the courts who ensure just punishment. It will be our mighty military and militias who will face them on the field of battle if it comes to that. It will be us liberty-loving who ensure these forces of evil and tyranny fail on all fronts, for that is our patriotic duty. Today we my be recovering, but tomorrow we will be on the offensive. The Kenway Program

The Kenway Program or the Federalisation Program is a chain of bills that have and will be introduced by the Liberal Democratic Party during this mandate. Named after President Jason Kenway which is the author and head of this program,the Kenway Program aims to reduce the bloated big-brother government by de-centralising authority. The programs first step has already passed parliament with a total of 166 Votes (LDP-NCP) and the second step has been proposed. Many laws which have been deemed “unfairly universal” and “out of kaliburg’s touch” by the President have now been left to the Local Government’s hands to decide,arguing that Local Governments now whats best for the local population instead of the İnsiders in Kaliburg,the LDP has fully embraced this new Federalist stand-point. The program has also been reported to include economic policy aswell in future bills,which will relax the strain in the Government’s budget and distribute authority to the Local Governments. “A Socialist district for Socialists and a Capitalist district for Capitalists” is the slogan that has been heard among the supporters of the Federalisation Process. President Kenway has been reported to be very satisfied with the progress and cooperation of the National Assembly so far.

NCP Centennial Anniversary
The National Conservative Party Celebrates 100 Years of Service

NCP Members and Voters Pile into the Kaliburg Convention Center to Await the Announcement of New Party Officials

On October 18th, the National Conservative Party celebrated the 100th anniversary of the party's second foundation in 4447. The main celebration took place in the Kaliburg Convention Center and was attended by thousands, though numerous smaller events were held nation wide.

The celebration in Kaliburg was a patchwork of various smaller events, including a free concert put on by many conservative artists, from Johnny Vrassa's rock 'n roll to Garry Heldman's country to a rap performance given by Ruble 2Chainz and Bigg Wallet. The NCP also announced that they'd be "reshuffling" the party's candidates and officials before the end of the year. The official list can be read below:

Also during the event, the Party Officials of the NCP announced as their final major action in power the creation of a committee to update the Manifesto of the National Conservative Party. The official deadline given to the committee is January 1st of 4550 and the updates will be announced at the annual NCP Convention of 4550.

Former President of the Republic and Last Socialist Head of State, Oleg Guttersnipe was seen out and about Kaliburg with Retro Futurist singer and Synthesizer player Joe Roman lately.  Guttersnipe and Roman have joined together to found the new Left Out Records to promote underground punk and RF bands in Kalistan.  We caught up with Guttersnipe, and interviewed him and Roman.

The Kenway Program passes Parliament !

After the re-election of Jason Kenway for his Second-Term,the LDP continued the program named after the President and proposed what was called the “Final Federalisation Program” to Parliament.Loud claps were heard in the National Assembly,as The Kenway Program which was a mass federalisation program headed by President Jason Kenway passed the National Assembly with 113 Yes votes (LDP) 103 No votes (UKWF-NCP) and 60 abstain votes (LRP). Jason Kenway was seen celebrating and getting congratulated by LDP Deputies,when asked to comment the President simply said:”This is a historic victory for liberty and self-government”. The Kenway Program’s final provisition saw Healthcare,Education and many other policies left to Local Governments decision. The Liberal Democratic Party has completely accepted and integrated Federalism into its Party Program. State institutions have already begun the reformation process to the new Federalist system. The LDP has called the program “a new era of prosperity and success as the Big-brother system has finally been ended”.

President Kenway announces reformation process of the LDP Militia

President Jason Kenway was seen visiting the LDP Militia’s in Kaliburg today,announcing a new reformation process of the LDP Paramilitaries which will continue for atleast 2 more years. The first step was a rebranding of the Militia which was announced today. Formerly known as the “Blue Berets”,the LDP militia will now be known as the  “Liberty Legions” and they have recieved new camouflage and a new set of guns which were contracted from Private military industries. According to President Kenway the Liberty Legions will reform the chain of command and wil recruit new personnel and the President aims to double the number of Soldiers by 4552. Training has been intensified aswell with military advisors.

Private Industries Grow; Poverty Falls
Seven Years After their Abrupt Privatization, the Military, Fuel, and Mineral Industries Begin to Stabilize

The unsure years of the devastating effects of the Colbertist Omnibus seem to soon be coming to a close, the military, fuel, and mineral industries that have been stabbed by hasty privatization are finally making a recovery and the effects on the working class also seem to be alleviated. These, of course, are due to the action of the government and individual parties who have come together to mend the wounds on the economy and the Kalistani people.

After the privatization of the Colbertist Omnibus in 4544, the industries of the last three public companies (KalMilInCo, KalNaPeCo, and KalNaFerCo) were left doomed and desolate, only inhabited by a few smaller companies that had absolutely no chance of filling their larger comrades' shoes in a fast enough time to save the nations from ruination. Their tides began turn a few years later when numerous wealthy Conservatives banded together to invest in a few promising startups in the suffering industries. To further boost up these important industries, the National Assembly passed a bill in 4547 which would allow the government to grant subsidies to companies in industries deemed imperative to the prosperity of Kalistan. Now, seven years after the Colbertist Omnibus, the military, fuel, and mineral industries look to be on the path to recovery, with gross output of these three industries increasing at about an average of an astronomical 1000% (Times ten). Multiple large companies have won success over their smaller counterparts, the most famous being the military weapons company KalTek which has become the KRF's and CAK's primary supplier of armaments and has begun weapons experimentation.

The effects on the Kalistani worker have also been relieved in recent years. Hundreds of thousands were left unemployed, broke, hungry, and even homeless when the KalMilInCo, KalNaPeCo, and KalNaFerCo abruptly closed and destroyed all of the jobs they had given. These burdens were again relieved by the government and the NCP with their National Relief Program and Conservative Public Relief Program. These two programs worked to create jobs, build new homes, and give food to the hungry among numerous other things. Now, with the boom in the military, fuel, and mineral industries, the jobs that were destroyed upon the closing of KalMilInCo, KalNaPeCo, and KalNaFerCo are predicted to be remade by the end of the decade.
