Dorvish automakers see uptick in sales, both domestic and foreign.

Dorvish automakers, notably Bredemegen Motor Works (Dundorfian: Bredemegenische Motoren Werke AG), have noticed a recent boom in both domestic and international markets over the past several years. The boom, marking an upturn for the Dorvish automobile industry, has sought to capitalize on electric vehicles (EVs) in recent years and the recent trade deal with Lodamun has seen a massive boon for the environmental friendly cars. Bredemegen, Voit-Wagenseil AG and several others have competed heavily in the EV market and the competition have produced vehicles that are both inexpensive and capable of long-ranges without the need for recharge. In recent years, for those remaining skeptical of EVs, both Bredemegen and VW have brought hyrbid vehicles to the market, combining traditional gas powered engines with electronic capacity in some form. These vehicles have increased in popularity and have provided the Dorvish citizens with cheaper alternatives and fuel-cost savings per year. Chairman of the Management Board of Bredemegen, Joachim Breuer, noted that continental trade on Artania has been the largest increase in recent years, improving approximately 37% over the previous year. Breuer speculates that the increased economic prospects of the global economy, or at least competition and less dominance of some nations, be it real or perceived, has prompted some nations to begin turning their eyes elsewhere or at least internally looking to other nations to cultivate new trade with.

Dorvik condemns Beiteynu, orders assets into Migrant's Pass for monitoring.

Dorvish State Chancellor condemned the usage of nuclear weapons today by Beiteynu in Xsampa and declared unilaterally that they will be severing all diplomatic ties with Beiteynu and placing Beiteynu immediately on the Foreign Offices "Red List". "The act of barbarism in Xsampa is completely and equivalently shocking behavior for a state such as Beiteynu." The State Chancellor expanded immediately that he had ordered the Dorvish Armed Forces to be on added alert and confirmed that he had dispatched one of the High Seas Monitoring Squadrons, in additional to other "support assets" to Migrant's Pass in order to monitor for additional missile launches from Beiteynu. "The world cannot stand idly by where a rogue state such as Beiteynu now acts as if they can do as they please." The Dorvish Foreign Ministry has expelled all non-essential Beiteynu personnel from the country and noted that any Dorvish citizens in northern Majatra, notably in Beiteynu should vacate the country immediately and to contact their respective embassies.

State Chancellor forgives Xsampan debt, sends specialist for radiation.

State Chancellor Johan Wehausen confirmed that the Dorvish government would be forgiving any debts that Xsampa had with the nation and encouraged other nations to do the same. "While Xsampa and Dorvik do not have any particularly significant trade or financial ties, we do have some and we are forgiving any debts that Xsampa may have had with the Dorvish government and associated entities." In addition the State Chancellor confirmed that they had begun additional humanitarian aid shipments to Xsampa, including sending representatives who are specially trained to treat the effects of radiation and handling nuclear materials. Engineers and medical professionals from the Natural Resources Technical Management Corporation, who manage most of all Dorvish nuclear power plants, have dispatched teams of engineers in addition to the humanitarian aid to aid the Xsampan government in handling the fallout. "We continue to promote peaceful uses of nuclear power and we condemn any attempt to utilize nuclear power for mass destruction."

Dorvish Police conduct province-wide crackdown on stolen vehicles.

Dorvish Police in Greater Kordusia have announced that over the course of two weeks they have recovered approximately 27 stolen vehicles. The operation, carried out by the Greater Kordusia Provincial Police's Mobile Task Forces (Dundorfian: Mobiles Einsatzkommando; MEK), or specialized plain clothes formations that conduct specialized enforcement were joined by both the Greater Kordusia Provinicial Police's Traffic Police (Verkehrspolizei) and Highway Police (Autobahnpolizei) in conducting this operation. The vehicles, largely higher end models were stolen from across the globe and imported to Dorvik. Officials from the Greater Kordusia Provincial Criminal Police and the Greater Kordusia Provincial Criminal Office were involved in the operation and while the operation has just kicked off, a part of a nation-wide effort to crackdown on crime, they were incredibly positive about the results over the first two weeks. Provincial Police President, General (Police) Tobi Lorenz welcomed the start of operations, which he noted might be expanded nation-wide should this prove to be a success, and applauded the efforts of all involved. A number of the arrests also related to flight from the police, in which President Lorenz noted that there were no additional accidents or property damage in relation to pursuits. "I want none to make a mistake, we will not hesitate to chase these criminals. These vehicles are being utilized to commit greater crimes, including organized crime and some are related to prohibited groups and funding those prohibited groups." The Ministry of the Interior has deferred to the Greater Kordusia Provincial Ministry of the Interior for comments, stating that the operation was largely created and pushed by the Greater Kordusian government but they welcome any and all cooperation within the Dorvish Police.

State Chancellor announces new conference, aiming to bring Luthori and Dundorf to the table.

State Chancellor Johan Wehausen has invited the governments of Narikaton and Darnussia, Luthori and Dundorf to Haldor for the Conference for the Security and Co-Operation in Artania (CSCA). According to sources within the Foreign Office the conference is designed to bring together public and private stakeholders and representatives to have an "honest" conversation about regional issues that Narikaton and Darnussia, Dundorf, Dorvik and Luthori have largely pushed aside. The move comes as the situation in Artanian has turned bleak and economic woes within the Dorvish government have largely been focused on continental trade's downturn. The conference, set to be held in December, 5611 in the spa town of Bad Innsnau located on the southern portion of the Black Mountain Chain, will be a major event for continental cooperation, especially in the field of security issues. The State Chancellor was asked about the Artanian Union and its numerous off-springs, but the State Chancellor waved his hand. "At this moment, that ship has sailed and were looking for different avenues of cooperation. The World Congress has gone silent and as far as we're concerned, we're on our own. We can certainly have cooperation with other nations but Artanian's need to take a moment and start cooperating back at home before we really venture into any projects such as the Artanian Union." The State Chancellor, the Foreign Minister, the Defense Minister and the the Dorvish financial and trade apparatus will be attending the conference.

Conference ends in agreement for new Artanian cooperative; Dorvik and Luthori sign on.

The Conference for the Security and Co-Operation in Artania (CSCA) held in Ban Innsau kicked off with a number of keynote speakers from the governments of Dorvik, Narikaton and Darnussia, Luthori and Dundorf. The keynote speaker for the conference was Dorvish State Chancellor Johan Wehausen who announced the formation of the Organization for the Security and Co-Operation in Artania (OSCA), of which he will serve as the first Chairman and announced that it will rotate between the various heads of state/government for those that sign onto the organization. According to sources close to the Dorvish Foreign Office, the Luthorian government has already signaled their willingness to join the organization and begin new pan-Artanian relations. The State Chancellor, who expects the others at the first conference to sign on, has called the movement "...monumental..." for Artanian unity and cooperation. "We cannot forget the history of various Pan-Artanian movements and cooperative relations. Artania is the shinning beacon of hope for the globe and with the cooperation of the leading nations on Artania, we can continue that shinning beacon." The State Chancellor said in his speech, he laid out the vision for the OSCA as a cooperative group of Artanian nations working together, building economic and political cooperation in both the political and security sphere. The State Chancellor praised previous attempts at Artanian Union's and its various successors but noted that Artania was often too politically diverse for such an organization but hoped that in the future this organization could evolve to be a champion of pan-Artanian ideals and one that protects the sovereign rights of its members. The State Chancellor welcomed continued dialogue and cooperation and hopes to expand the organization to include all Artania.

Egelion and Dorvik agree to MBT deal; push for deeper security and defense cooperation.

Dorvish officials from the Foreign Defense Office announced the sale of an undisclosed number of Leopard 2A8 main battle tanks to the Egelion. The news comes after Minister of Defense and Chief of the Supreme General Staff Generaloberst (Landwehr) Hosian von Lyndow-Sennhein visited Egelion and met with his counter-parts in the Ministry of Defense. Egelion and Dorvik have grown closer since the state visit in November, 5603 where the two nations formalized ties between the two nations and ushered in a new era of bilateral cooperation. The arms deal marks a first in a resurgent Dorvish foreign policy that has struggled over the past several years but has recently come alive since the closing of the Conference for the Security and Co-Operation in Artania (CSCA) in late November, 5610. The conference, which formalized the foundation of the Organization for the Security and Co-operation in Artania (OSCA), was a major coup for Haldor in furthering relations with several Artanian nations, notably Luthori and Dundorf with whom they have shared often cordial but sometimes tense relations. The Foreign Defense Office, in conjunction with the Dorvish Defense Export, which manages all arms deals of Dorvik, announced that deliveries of the main battle tanks will begin within the coming months. The Leopard 2A8 is the next advancement in the Leopard 2 series of main battle tanks and will provide Egelion with a significant upgrade to their security and defense capabilities. In addition to the sale of the equipment, the Dorvish will provide training and maintenance contracts for the Egelion Armed Forces.

Generaloberst (Landwehr) Hosian von Lyndow-Sennhein also announced that the Dorvish and Egelionese governments had signed agreements on defense and security cooperation, the first agreement focusing on expanding cold-weather training and arctic-type exercises for the two nations. The agreement permits for armed forces from both nations to attend training and exercises in both nations focused on cold-weather and arctic-type exercises. "We're eager to train with our partners in Egelion, both in Dorvik and in Egelion. Once again the ability to learn and train with allies has brought up closer together as nations."

Dorvish Navy gets new AEWC and SIGINT; Fallschirmjäger headed to Dundorf.

A Dorvish Navy ADGDS C-295 AEWC takes off somewhere in Dorvik, recently assigned as II Gruppe.

Dorvish military officials from the Supreme General Staff in conjunction with the Dorvish Navy's Coastal Command Office announced the expansion of the Marine Reconnaissance Wing 1 (Dundorfian: Marine-Aufklärungsgeschwader 1) to include a new airborne early warning and control aircraft. The purchase order from the Dorvish Navy's General Navy Department includes the purchase of additional ADG Defense and Space C-295 AEW&C in addition to the ADG Defense and Space C-295 SIGINT which will provide enhanced coverage as well as additional maritime surveillance capabilities. The move comes after tensions in the Artanian Sea and the desire for the Dorvish to expand their native missions to provide the Kingdom with continent-wide coverage. "These moves will provide the Kingdom with the capabilities to cover the entire region and blanket the area with up-to-date weather and vessel tracking data as well as provide enhanced coverage for regional security." The Inspector of the Dorvish Navy, Generaladmiral Andre Kümmel told Defense Weekly. The news comes off the heels that the Dorvish Air Force, notably the Dorvish paratroopers, will be conducting a large-scale training exercise in southern Dundorf with the Dundorfian Air Force and their counter-parts in the Dundorfian paratrooper corps. "We look forward to working with our Dundorfian counter-parts in these training exercises, it's incredibly important and beneificial to work with our Volksdundorfian allies in the spirit of security cooperation."

Dorvish Minister of Education and Culture forms new scouting and hunting agency and announced new cooperation with Egelion

Dorvish Minister of Education and Culture Dr. Soren Hauck announced that several of the Dorvish scouting and hunting associations would be brought underneath the new Dorvish Hunting Society (Dundorfian: Dorvische Jagerschaft). The formation of a new, singular entity, is done at a time when Dorvish scouting and hunting, which are often closely linked, has been rocked by a lack of centralization and scandal. The largest Dorvish scouting and hunting association, the Layern Pfadfinder- und Jagdbund (Luthorian: Largonian Scouting and Hunting Association), has announced that it will be filing bankruptcy due to years of mismanagement and the theft of funds which resulted in the president of the association being arrested and imprisoned for 10 years for the theft and fraud. The new Staatsjagermeister, Till Reinmann, will be charged with overseeing the transition and acquisition of these various scouting and hunting associations that will be absorbed into the new agency.

The Minister also went on to direct the State Secretary for Culture, Annika Bitterlich, to cooperate with the Egelionese government in the announcement of a new cultural outreach program. “I have directed the State Secretary for Culture to immediately begin work with relevant authorities and offices to work with the Egelionese government in their new cultural academy program. The Dorvish government will reciprocate any agreements made through the Ministry of Education and Culture but also the Volksdundorfische Cultural Association, one of our primary components for cultural exchange and education.” The Dorvish government, eager for the program, noted that it will introduce new exchanges of ideas and skilled labor into each others nations.

Dorvish State Chancellor travels to Aikums for a state visit.

Dorvish and Dolgavan officials meet to discuss the future of bilateral ties.

State Chancellor Johan Wehausen has lead a delegation from the Kingdom of Dorvik to Aikums, Dolgava to discuss the future of Dorvish-Dolgavan relations. The State Chancellor will met with the new Dolgavan Prime Minister, Jaanus Jogi, from the Dolgavan Farmers Party. The two will meet to discuss deeper bilateral relations, notably focused on the development of refreshed economic ties. The Dorvish economy, which has expanded steadily over the past few years has been seeking new markets for export and import. The expansion of trade with nations such as Egelion, Kanjor, and Lodamun have afforded the Dorvish new, untapped markets compared to traditional Artanian markets and even the Majatran markets as a whole. Agriculture, which has dominated Dolgavan politics similar to that of Dorvish politics, is at the top of the list and the close ties that the two parties have to their agricultural base, will be important in the field of economics. The Dorvish financial industry is also seeking expansion, notably outside of Egelion and increasing their market share in Keris as a whole, a relatively new market for them as a whole. Representatives from the Natural Resources Technical Management Corporation, the NTVS, will also be present to discuss deepening ties related to the export of Dorvish oil and natural gas to the country. Another major deal for Dorvik, which has steadily increased its market share, could be another major coup for the Dorvish economy.

While economics and trade ties will be at the forefront, sources close to the Ministry of Defense have cited that part of the meeting was to discuss the opening of a joint naval base located in Scharhofen, a bastion of Hulstro-Dolgavan's in Dolgava. The source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, noted that the existing Dolgavan Navy port will be expanded and the Dorvish will provide the bulk of the construction money and a permanent rotation of Dorvish forces will be deployed there for training and cooperation purposes. If the deal goes through, it will mark the opening of the first foreign Dorvish base in several decades.
