Dorvik and Xsampa announce new medical partnership.
August, 5619
Dorvish Minister of Health and Social Services Dr. Celina Rosenhain announced a new series of medical partnerships with the Xsampan government, these partnerships both public and private, will be spearheaded by the Ministry of Health and Social Service's State Secretary for Health Affairs as well as the State Center for Health Education, an agency of the Ministry of Health and Social Services that focuses on research and development. While the Dorvish government has previously dispatched doctors and physicians to Xsampa to assist with the aftermath of the nuclear detonation by Beiteynu, the Dorvish announced the new partnership after talks with the Xsampan government for cooperation in the field of medicine. Ebner AG's subsidiaries, Ebner Health AG and Ebner HealthCare AG, will be signing onto the program as well. Ebner AG's health subsidiaries have been world-leading in their fields for centuries, including in the field of medical equipment where the Dorvish have remained pioneers in medical technologies largely thanks to the continued investment by the State Center for Health Education and Ebner AG's persistent and notable research into the medical technology field. The finer details of the program are to be worked out in the coming months but the experience for both Xsampan and Dorvish doctors and medical professionals to cooperate on an international level will be an opportunity for both nations' medical professionals to expand their knowledge.

BREAKING NEWS: Revitalized Social Democrats win majority, but coalition talks not clear.
October, 5620
Dorvish citizens went to the polls in October, 5620 and in the first election where the Social Democratic Party of Dorvik was permitted to run, largely due to its historical status, they secured the second most votes in the State Council with 194 seats (38.47%; 34,951,034 votes) behind the Hosian-Conservative Alliance which secured 198 seats (39.09%; 35,515,021 votes). State Chancellor Johan Wehausen's Dorvish Workers' Party lost its majority, slipping all the way down to 16 seats (3.24%; 2,941,089 votes) behind the Independents who won a total of 17 seats (3.27%; 2,972,614 votes). The upstart Social Nationalist Party, once the largest political organization in Dorvik, secured 80 seats (15.92%; 14,463,467) in the State Council. It is unlikely that the SDP will find itself able to generate a coalition over the next couple of weeks, in which the current State Chancellor will continue until a coalition is agreed upon. Rumors have been abound that the so-called "kingmakers" in this election are the Social Nationalist Party, lead by Joachim von Rohr-Mauss who has been seen meeting with SDP leader Magnus Tausche and HKA leader Kuno von Bahr. While an SDP-SNP coalition seems farfetched, its not entirely unbelievable. The SNP have been unusual coalition makers throughout their history and have aligned themselves with a variety of parties and organizations for what they call "...the greater good of Dorvik..." and with a Rohr-Mauss at the helm, nothing is off the table.
The revival of the Social Democratic Party has proved interesting in the scope of Dorvish politics. The party attracted a number of left-wing members, notably left-wing nationalist, and those center-left voters who felt left out during the Black Eagle Alliance. The SDP, notably when it competed on a regional level, were stalwart defenders of Dorvik and were often found within coalitions with center and right-wing groups. The fall of the Dorvish Workers Party, largely from failures in foreign policy, have left them floundering and questioning their future. The State Chancellor will have to pick up the pieces as he faces a leadership test, if he decides to continue in his current position. Coalition talks are believed to be on-going as the exit polls showed who the clear winners and losers would be, and are expected to continue for the next couple of weeks.

Dorvik announces new joint naval base in Scharhofen, Dolgava.
November, 5613
State Chancellor Magnus Tausche announced that the Dorvish Armed Forces would be opening a joint naval base with the Dolgavan Navy at Scharhofen, on the west coast of Dolgava as a means to facilitate training and security cooperation. The move comes as the two nations have grown closer together since a state visit in March, 5616 and have discussed increased security cooperation and training over the past several years. The opening of a naval base a Scharhofen, capable of supporting both naval vessels and aircraft, will be the first major Dorvish military installation abroad in several decades and will provide the Dorvish the opportunity to assist in security cooperation with both Dolgava and Egelion, with whom they have developed security cooperation with over the past several years. "We're excited about the prospect of working the Dolgavan Navy and Dolgavan Air Force in training and development of cooperation in security matters." said the Chief of the Supreme General Staff Generaloberst Rayk von Auspitz-Topol, who had recently taken over the post including the Minister of Defense and Inspector-General of the Armed Forces. The construction of the military port, which exists already, is expected to take a year to upgrade and the Dorvish Armed Forces will largely be footing the cost of the project as a whole. In accordance with an agreement with the Dolgavan government, approximately 50% of the contracting will be provided to Dolgavan corporations and companies and hiring mostly Dolgavan workers. "We're excited to work with our partners in Dolgava and we're eager to get to work training together. Security cooperation is paramount to the success of vital trade routes, defense of democracy and peace and stability in the world order." said State Chancellor Tausche on the announcement of the new naval base.

Dorvish Trade Commissioner visits Egelion and Dolgava.
June, 5621
Dorvish trade and Egelion government officials meet in Egelion.
Dorvish Trade Commissioner Evelyn Sauer announced today that she would be conducting a trade visit to Egelion, Dolgava and would be making a stop in Xsampa to oversee trade relations with the three nations. Sauer, appointed to her role in November, 5620 has spent her first few months in office reviewing a number of trade agreements and overseeing the transition to a new Dorvish Trade Commission, which has largely remained the same for approximately 30 years according to sources close to the Dorvish Trade Commission's Public Information Office.
The visit to Dolgava and Egelion will see Mrs. Sauer joined by Dorvish Trade Commissioner for Makon and Keris Frederico Strauss, a Egelionese-Dorvish citizen who has been instrumental in deepening ties between Egelion and Dorvik, including pushing the Dorvish government towards the cultural exchange between Egelion and Dorvik, will meet with Commissioner Sauer in Egelion and then will take a trip to Aikums, Dolgava to discuss deepening trade ties. Dorvish trade with Egelion has increased steadily since the meeting between Haldor and the new government in Egelion, a first for Dorvish-Egelionese relations. The Dorvish, in somewhat typical fashion, have worked to open branches of several Dorvish financial institutions such as Artanian Bank, the Dorvish Development Bank, the Majatran-Dorvish Bank and the State Commercial Bank. While the Dorvish have focused heavily on financial connections to Egelion, corporations such as Bredemegen Motor Works (Dundorfian: Bredemegenische Motoren Werke AG) have expanded their operations to the nation, BMW has opened a new production plant just outside the capital of Egelion where they will be producing vehicles. Voit-Wagenseil AG has likewise opened a new production plant in Egelion to facilitate the production of vehicles. The Dorvish will also seek to develop new trade ties for precision instruments, such as clocks, optics and other industrial precision equipment. The Dorvish steel industry is also eager to introduce itself further into the growing construction sector of Egelion, a nation that is rapidly expanding.
While Egelion-Dorvish trade has been a hot topic, the re-opening of markets in Dolgava and the resurgence of stability in Egelion has dealt the Dorvish a chance to secure trade ties with two nations on a continent that is nominally weak on trading. Following the three day trip to Egelion, Commissioner Sauer and Commissioner Strauss will make their way to Aikums to meet with the Dolgavan government to discuss facilitating trade. Those same corporations who have joined the Dorvish Trade Commissioners in Egelion will certainly want to redevelop and revise their strategy in Egelion, but another notable presence will be the agricultural equipment manufacturer Kaiserfeld Maschinenbau AG, founded in 1872 who will seek to capture the growing agricultural market that Dolgava has focused on. The Dorvish will look to Dolgava for increased agricultural imports, notably due to Dorvik's recent harsh winters. Similar to Egelion, the Dorvish financial sector will make a strong appearance in Dolgava, seeking to capitalize on a variety of banking opportunities, notably in the field of extending credit and mortgages. In both Egelion and Dolgava, the Dorvish "hard infrastructure" corporations, will continue to be present looking to construct railways, roadways, bridges, and a variety of infrastructure.

Tausche condemns extremism in Rutania, calls emergency meeting of OSCA.
February, 5624
State Chancellor Magnus Tausche condemned the recent rise of a radical regime in Rutania, citing further instability on the Artanian continent will cause issues for its nations. The State Chancellor called for an emergency meeting of the Organization for the Security and Co-Operation in Artania (OSCA), the fledgling organization which has brought together several prominent Artania nations to discuss the emerging crisis in Rutania. "The Kingdom will continue to monitor the situation in Rutania but uilately condemns any movement towards extremism, be it right-wing or left-wing." The State Chancellor summoned the Dorvish General-Plenipotentiary (Ambassador) to Rutania and summoned the Rutanian Ambassador to Dorvik to the State Chancellery to discuss the outbreak of obvious repression. The Dorvish Foreign Office also announced that they have accepted the invitation of the Egelionese government to the Conference of Altea to discuss a number of emerging global issues and crises.

Dorvish open new facilities for satellites and continue TPS program.
May, 5624
The new Center for Satellites and Space Navigation will be a major research and development component of satellite technology.
Dorvish Minister of Science and Technology Tristan Obst (SNP) announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and launch facility located in the mountains of Westmark. The Dorvish pioneered satellite navigation technology and are responsible for the widely utilized Terran Positioning System (TPS), it is utilized across the globe and has been in service for several millennium. The Dorvish have, for the past two decades, worked on a series of replacements for TPS-related satellites at great expense to the Dorvish taxpayer but the service provided is far too valuable to be halted. In recent decades there have been competition but none come close to the TPS and its overall success or longevity. The new facility, located in the mountains of Westmark will be focused on research, development and ultimately production of satellites destined to be a component of TPS. The facility, which will be overseen by the Dorvish Aerospace Service, the Dorvish Ministry of Science and Technology as well as the Westmark Provincial Ministry of Science and Technology will be the first of its kind within Dorvik. It will centralize a series of facilities located throughout Dorvik as well as bring together some of the worlds top engineers and researchers in the field. The facility will also be home to the new Center for Satellites and Space Navigation which will work to bring together the best and brightest in the field, open to all those who are interested in contributing to the continued success of the program.
The program, coined as "Celestial Navigation", will be completed in phases over the course of the next 5 to 7 years with launch facilities being given priority to replace aging launch facilities in Dorvan and in Greater Kordusia. The Center for Satellites and Space Navigation will break ground separately and is expected to be completed on a similar timeline as the launch facilities associated with "Celestial Navigation".

Dorvish Trade Commissioner leads Dorvish shipbuilders to Lodamun
August, 5624
The Dorvish Trade Commissioner Evelyn Sauer and the Dorvish Trade Commissioner for Seleya, Maximilian Rupp, arrived in Lodamun to discuss the recent news that the Harrington Company would be seeking to expand their commercial fleet with new ships. Dorvish trade officials were joined by Dorvish shipbuilders such as FärberKiesel AG, Dorvische Werft, and Lievlandseewerke to provide their offers to the Harrington Company. The Dorvish are well known shipbuilders throughout Terra and their cold climate has been favorable towards the production of vessels that have heartier qualities in the metal due to the reduction of expansion due to heat, and many Dorvish-build vessels are well known for their ability to survive in frigid conditions and are tested in the near-arctic conditions in the north of Greater Kordusia. The Dorvish shipbuilding industry, dotted along the Dorvish coasts, have utilized ice as a natural drydock at times but in recent years the focus has been developing indoor facilities to produce vessels. For instance FärberKiesel Maritime Systems AG, which produce civilian ships, constructed and 1.3b LOD facility in Schrudehofen, Greater Kordusia that permits both indoor and outdoor vessel construction.

Dorvish continue reconstruction and development in Likatonia.
May, 5625
Dorvish Peacekeepers assemble on the Likatonia-Lodamun border.
Dorvish officials have confirmed the continued deployment of the Panzer-Division Großdundorf as a peacekeeping force on the border of Likatonia-Lodamun. The deployment of the primary expeditionary unit of the Dorvish Armed Forces has existed for several years now and the rotation of units has been a chance for the Dorvish Armed Forces to keep their metaphorical "feet wet" when it comes to logistics and support. The Dorvish have always placed great emphasis on the support of their missions, even if it meant not being able to deploy large formations of troops such as other nations have done in the past. The Dorvish, at the request of the government of Lodamun, has deployed a significant number of peacekeepers underneath the Supreme General Staff with supporting elements from the Dorvish Navy and the Dorvish Air Force and the Dorvish Feldjager, the Dorvish military police who make up a significant deployment outside the Panzer-Division Großdundorf.
While the focus has been on keeping the peace, the Dorvish alongside their Egelion partners, have been selected to manage a $10b LOD fund for the reconstruction of civilian infrastructure within Likatonia. The Dorvish have begun a survey of the damaged areas and other areas associated with the fund to begin development. The Dorvish government have named Bruno Hössler, a Deputy Dorvish Trade Commissioner as their representative to the fund. While the Dorvish have maintained that they will provide 50% of the funding to Likatonian corporations and businesses, they have agreed to utilize the other 25% for neighboring Seleyan corporations and in the remaining 25% from Dorvish and other Dundorfian based corporations and businesses. The Dorvish Development Bank's branch in Seleya, known as the Dorvish-Seleyan Development Bank (DSDB) has agreed to provide an additional $500m in reconstruction loans to the Likatonian government while several major Dorvish corporations and businesses have signed on to provide assistance in the rebuilding efforts.

Child Benefit formalized, Dorvik ascends to CROWN.
September, 5627
Minister of Health and Social Services Dr. Anne-Marie Schleiermacher announced that the "Child Benefit" that has long been handled by provincial governments will be centralized underneath the Ministry of Health and Social Services. The State Council passed the legislation which will provide each family a set amount of Dorvish Dolgars a month per month until the child reaches maturity with certain exceptions. The initial benefit amount, aggregated from across Dorvik, will be D300 per month for one child, D500 per month for two children and D700 for three or more children. In addition the provinces can provide their own child benefit if they wish to do so, provinces such as Haldor or Vilnau provide additional benefits. The formalization of the national government in handing out the child benefit frees up provincial governments, some of which are not as financially flush as the others.
Dorvish Foreign Minister Fritz Curschmann confirmed that the Kingdom would be ascending to the new pro-monarchy organization, CROWN, or Coalition of Royal Organizations and Willing Nations (Dundorfian: Koalition der Königlichen Organisationen und Willigen Nationen). The organization faced scrutiny in the State Council's Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Foreign Affairs Commission due to the presence of what some deputies called "aggressive actors" within the organization but ultimately passed committee vote and was supported by the legislature as a whole for ascension to the organization as a whole. The Foreign Office confirmed that it would be naming Klemens von Bahr as the Permanent Representative to CROWN and would be dispatching a staff to assist him in Aikums, Dolgava, where the organization will be headquartered. The State Chancellor welcomed the news to the Dorvish press outside the State Chancellery and welcomed deeper cooperation with allies in Deltaria and Dolgava.
