PM lands in Eroncourt to discuss safe return of Hadayim's crew

Eroncourt, Lourenne - The heavy ordeal for the crew members of Hadayim's stranded oil tanker seems to be nearing its end, after Xsampan authorities successfully attempted several rescue operations. Although Vascanian authorities were quick at the scene with multiple choppers and patrol boats and while earlier reports indicated that the vessel was under a hostage situation by pirates, the situation seems resolved.

Investigators from YBI and members of the Yeudish intelligence community have generally refrained from commenting, however, high-ranking sources with the Ministry of Internal Affairs pointed to a rather chaotic situation that took place during the operations.

AllComm officials - the agency in charge of the Allink - have all declined to comment.

Young generation of officers to lead unprecedented multi-front invasion exercise as part of the MOD's all-inclusive policy

Haifbourg, Desert Bank - As part of the Khaganate's imperial-wide plans of increasing the readiness and tactical capability of land forces, as well as the Beiteynuese Defence Force's continuous integration processes with the Jelbic Empire, the Kohav worked together with the Octagon in Pontesi and military command in Vanuku and Barmenistan to coordinate a two-front invasion exercise; one in the west, one in the east.

As such, a fresh crop of young, Jelbic trained Beiteynuese officers and commanders will lead one defensive force in the West Bank south of Rishon Le Hofesh and one in the southeastern shores of Pontesi overlooking the Majatran Sea, combining tactical training for Pontesi's army in the process.

On both ends, mechanised divisions will utilise Merkava battle tanks and Soltam artillery weapons systems to defend.

On the "invading" ends, Wiel will be leading a joint trilateral expedition force comprised of army divisions from Vanuku, Barmenistan and Jelbe in a scenario which assumes that coastal defence from Pontesian and Beiteynuese navies has collapsed.

As part of the exercise assessment, military analysts from the Ministry of Defence in Yishelem are also hoping to ascertain enhanced ASBM-based defences for Pontesi's eastern shores; although early reports seem to already indicate vulnerabilities towards Kathuristan (Barmenistan).

Student march turns violent as civil unrest rises in Narik and Darnussian communities

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - For 13 consecutive days since the precarious developments in the Dual Republic last month, an ever increasing number of student and civil rights groups have taken to the streets marching and protesting against abuse of power and violation of democratic rights; holding signs and chanting rhymes that Theodora Lackmann - the new President of the Dual Republic - is a dictator.

One of these marches turned violent last night in downtown Himmelshtern when a local news affiliate reported that a Narik and Darnussian community was raided by the Beiteynuese Police; a raid that resulted in the arrest of several Clenonberg sympathisers and supporters, including individuals who seem to be affiliated with left-wing associations in the Yeudi Homeland, early reports indicate.

Several students have been arrested as a result of the turmoil. The Ministry of Education and Culture is reportedly looking to temporarily close campuses in Himmelshtern, Yishelem and the North Bank, citing concerns of escalation.

The Office of the Rosh HaMemshala declined to comment on what is "an unfolding situation".

Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and members of the Yeudish intelligence community have all confirmed that they were in contact with Dual Republican authorities since the aftermath of the incident, citing "no cause for concern".

Saham scrambles to contain spillover as Neset Index begins to feel ripple effects from Kalistani embargo

Archaic Museum of Yishelem submits formal request to authenticate Kundratijan Gem

Yishelem - The National Museum of Kundrati History's unveil of 1 of the 8 Gems in Kasaema by the notorious Hulanevek family earlier this month immediately triggered a formal request by the Archaic Museum of Yishelem. The announcement that 1 of the 8 Gems may in fact exist in Kundrati evidently came as a surprise to few, considering Gem Publishing had already claimed that Cunnington Marit of the Terran Remediation Agency had betrayed the Kadiyot House and given the gem to Hulavenek in 5263, just before he was framed for the murder of Baruch Lea Tzafrir.

The Kundratijan Gem is the latest of the 8 Gems to spring up in recent centuries, after thousands and thousands of years in obscurity. At the moment, the other 6 of the 8 Gems are present in Wiel (4) and Fort William (2), according to the Archaic Museum of Yishelem's research. According to the legend of the Ezrahim, the Benowitz House stole the Kundratijan Gem back in the 1200s as they fled from Beiteynu.

The Archaic Museum of Yishelem's request to send a mission in an attempt to authenticate the gem in Kundrati was unfortunately accompanied by a short press announcement by the Medinat Department expressing its "thoughtful curiosity" in response to a recent piece published by the Kasaema Guardian in regards to bilateral relations between Xsampa and Kundrati warming up.

How is Kundrati neutral when it supplies military equipment to one side?

Yet again, against the Yeudi People.

In fact, the timing of the unveil and the subsequent request was so unfortunate, considering that later in the same afternoon, Xsampa denounced the Jelbic Empire's naval operations in Southwest Vascania and issued a warning to Beiteynu.

Rumours flying in from the Ministry of Defence speak of an upcoming 1st Azhara to be issued to Xsampa.

BREAKING NEWS: Prime Minister Anna Kadiyot shot at Bei Elion International Airport

Yishelem - We have just received news that the Rosh HaMemshala and Royal Ramatkal was shot by an unknown assailant who broke through security at Bei Elion International Airport, while attempting to embark the Wings of Ishmael and depart to Jelbe as part of her world tour.

In the ensuing chaos, the PM was immediately rushed to the hospital. Both the airport and the area around the airport have been sealed off by local authorities and agents of the Yeudish Bureau of Investigations. All inbound flights will be rerouted to King Ishmael in Tel Bira.

The Office of the Prime Minister will be issuing a statement to confirm that the Prefect of the Jelbic Empire will be assuming the responsibilities of the position, in the interim. The fate of the PM remains unknown. We will keep you posted as the story unfolds.

Himmelshtern - The Ministry of Finance unveiled the new Hadrim Building in Himmelshtern last week, set to house Narik and Darnussian officials headed by the newly appointed Vice-Director of Majatran Affairs of the Dual Republic.

Meant to represent the crown jewel of what financial pundits refer to as the "Triple Republic" of Narikaton, Darnussia and Beiteynu, the Hadrim building will offer headquarters for Bannerhafen's affairs in Majatra, including but not limited to the continuously rising 3rd Point Federation, the Bannerpakt - which reacted with a slight uptick last week but remained hindered by the ongoing tensions between Pontesi and Istalia - and the Vamaj Network.

Narik and Darnussian communities which were enthralled in turmoil last year have steadily returned to normal since then; a number of elite entrepreneurs and investors from both sides of the pond have expressed immense satisfaction at the Beiteynuese Government's gesture of recognising the significant commercial and trade ties between the Yeudi People and the Narik and Darnussians.

Albeit the circumstances of the aftermath of the lost Hadayim oil tanker in Southwest Vascania being rather precarious, the Vamaj Network has taken the news of joint military patrols in the region by the United Kingdom of Lourenne and the Jelbic Empire in a positive manner.
