Welcome to Election Night, Hutori. I’m Vanessa Taylor, and you’re watching a political earthquake as it unfolds. I'm joined tonight by our chief political analyst Arthur Koresh and our chief pollster Jasmyn Ilari. We'll start with the basics. At dissolution, the Conservatives held a massive majority mandate, 188 seats total. The Opposition National Labour Party held 63, the Greens 43, the Liberals 39 and the Republicans held 7. Jasmyn how were the polls throughout the election?

Jasmyn Ilari:
Nothing that wasn't expected. Prime Minister Rosalyn Woodbury's Conservatives held steady in the extreme high thrities or early forties, at no point throughout the political campaign did another political party come within 15 point of catching the Conservatives. The opposition is so evenly divided it's not funny, all within the margin of error with one another. This is going to be critical due to the Senate elections which are based on vote share by province, not just running up the score or scoring a close race in your home riding. A party could potentially sweep a province on close races, and still be even in the Senate.

Arthur Koresh:
I have to say I was extremely impressed with the parties and their dual campaigning. You can tell that all five party are still trying to figure out the dynamics of running in each of Hutori's 343 ridings, while still focusing on each province to ensure they get their vote share up to make sure they get a slate of Senators. This will be an interesting dynamic for future elections and I can promise it won't be going away. This was everyone's test run of the new system, and we'll see how everyone had managed to adapt.

Vanessa Taylor:
Polls have officially closed on the Isle of Sutton and it's 16 seats in the House of Commons, and it's 12 seats in the Senate. At dissolution, the Greens held six seats, the Conservatives five, National Labour three and the Liberals two. Let's watch as the results have come in.

These are some interesting results straight from the get go. We knew that Jason LeClerc and the Greens have been trying to make the Island of Sutton theirs the way they dominate provinicially and it looks like it's finally making some headway. They've picked up two additional seats, one each from the Liberals and National Labour. That is some serious movement. They know have half the seats, and look at this, picked up half of the Senate seats available to. Arthur thoughts?

Arthur Koresh:
It’s a story of transformation, Vanessa. Ten years ago, the Greens were a niche curiosity on Sutton. Now, they are the party of record. Environmental policy, academic youth turnout, and a surging distrust in legacy parties — it’s all culminated tonight.

Jasmyn Ilari:
They targeted ridings like St. Mary’s University, East Norwalk, and Sutton West Shore, and crushed it. Voter mobilization on climate and coastal protection gave them wins over even strong incumbents who have held these seats over multiple cycles. In Sutton South Maritime, where the Liberals were hoping for a hold, a dramatic recount finish saw Green Party candidate Sara Bhalani squeak through by 217 votes, flipping a long-time Liberal bastion. One Green MP-elect, 29-year-old marine biologist Evan Sorenson, won with over 50% in Cape Highwinds on the western shore. That's not a fluke — that’s a mandate.

Vanessa:
The Republicans are continuing to be locked out, barely getting five percent of the vote province wide. Sutton has shut the door on them.

Arthur:
This is no longer a protest vote province. It’s Green territory now — and they’re growing roots.

Vanessa Taylor:
Now let’s move across the frigid straits to the battered, beautiful battleground that is Roccato. A province of contrast — steel towns, university enclaves, northern resource ridings. At dissolution, the Conservatives held fourteen seats, Labour eight, Greens six and the Liberals two.

Vanessa:
Some big headlines here. It looks like the Conservatives completely held the line, didn't lose a single seat, and they picked up the largest Senate caucus, grabbing five of the twelve seats up for grabs. The big headline here? Now-former Premier Evelyn Markham has successfully won her race for Roccato Straits.

Jasmyn Ilari:
She’s off to a good start. Roccato is her home province, she was probably hoping to grab at least one of the Conservatives seats and maybe one of the Liberal seats, but a pick up is a pick up, and offsets her loss on the Isle of Sutton. We also have confirmation that Rachel McKenna won her senate bid, so it's likely she'll be a key leader in the Senate caucus no matter what happens.

Arthur Koresh:
And Vanessa, don’t forget the Green miss in South Dalry Metro — they were 1.8% shy of flipping one of the National Labour seat. That might haunt them. Every vote mattered here. The Conservatives nearly lost Caldwell Plains, a rural stronghold, after a shocking insurgent Republican campaign split their vote. But a last-minute door-to-door blitz from local MLA Greg Mason likely saved them by just 800 votes.

Vanessa:
And how about the Liberals? Two seats. Barely. They’ve flatlined in Roccato. Jack Delamont couldn't bring any more fortunes to the Liberals here.

Arthur:
They’re holding on by fingernails. In Northern Port Devereaux, one of the industrial towns near Kincardine, it took a three-way split for the Liberals to survive. They’re a legacy brand without a pulse here.

Vanessa:
And let’s not even talk about the Republicans.

Jasmyn:
There’s nothing to talk about. Their last candidate in Roccato, a former staffer to Marie Kincaid, conceded halfway through the debate and endorsed the Conservative.

Vanessa:
Brutal. Before pivot to Kenai we'll take a quick glance at the current seat totals.

This is definitely an interesting result thus far. The Conservatives are where they were, the Greens are still holding second and are one up, and National Labour is where they started, with the Liberals down one. But the Senate results are far more interesting. Despite only electing 2 MPs in all of Roccato, you can see under the surface they still have wide support across the province as they hold 3 Senate seats, just as many MPs. This was the dynamic we were waiting for. Alright, let's go to Kenai.

Kenai… land of cold ambition, platinum blonde ski lodges, coastal tech corridors, and the fiercest political knife fights in the nation. At dissolution the Conservatives held an extremely clear majority, hold 39 of the seats in the province, National Labour anchored by thirteen, the Liberals had ten, the Greens six and four of the remaining Republicans were from here. The Liberals began a fairly recent surge here with both Liberal Leader Jack Delamont spending the majority of his time on the campaign trail, and former Prime Minister Kensington everywhere across the province, likely in an attempt to boost the vote share. Let's see how it all played out.

Let’s get it out of the way: Former Prime Minister Michael Kensington, after eight years in the wilderness, has pulled off a crushing Senate win in Kenai. He polled like a rock star and strutted into the Liberal victory party like the prom king no one likes but everyone still wants to be friends with.

Arthur Koresh:
He couldn’t take back the Liberal leadership—yet. But this was about dominance. His Senate win and a four-seat pickup for the Liberals in Kenai screams “don’t count me out.”

Jasmyn Ilari:
Vanessa, the Liberals didn’t just claw back relevance in Kenai—they made some breakthroughs some people wrote off. There was some real worry that Kenai was going to become a Conservative stronghold, the way Adelia is, and although the Conservatives still dominant throughout the province, it's no longer a sure thing. They lost four seats overall, all to the Liberals, in either St. Anslem or St. Adrian. The bleeding would be worse if it weren't for two Republicans biting the bullet and the Conservatives snatching up those seats.

Arthur Koresh:
Kenai River Bay West in St. Adrian saw the biggest upset as Liberal star Kiera Ames beat a two-term Conservative MP by 1,600 votes. Kensington reportedly called her personally before the final results even came in. Expect that ticket to get some play.

Vanessa:
I know that Evelyn Markham can't be happy. She lost another seat to the Greens, one of their final seats in rural Kenai, this one in Kenai Central Valley. This has got to sting. Markham is a great labour organizer, but this night is reinforcing consistently that Labour is quickly becoming an urban party.

Jasmyn Ilari:
I know I keep harping on this, but the Senate results, these continue to be fascinating. The Conservatives are still leading, they picked up five seats in the Senate, and despite the seat disparity in the House, the Liberals were right behind, grabbing four seats themselves. The last three were split between National Labour and the Green, who took two and one respectfully.

Arthur Koresh:
I take it no one is going to take about the elephant in the room; the Republicans for the third straight province couldn't qualify for a single seat in the Senate. They missed the threshold by half a percent. Combine that with the two losses in the House, unless the Republicans can turn this around they'll go from a Mini-Van Caucus to a Sedan Caucus.

Vanessa:
Before we go into the Adelian heartland, let's get an updated seat count.

Vanessa:
The results are more or less where we were four years ago. The Conservatives are net down one, National Labour is down net one. But the big story is is the Liberals seem to be gaining some steam, as are the Greens, and despite it only being two, the Republicans have lost half of their otherwise elected seats up to this point.

Arthur Koresh:
These Senate seats must be depressing for the Republicans. Kenai is one of their strongest provinces and still nothing. The Conservatives are proving their strength, leading in the Senate, and the Greens have the second largest Senate caucus thus far; despite being third in House seats, second in the Senate, likely what Jason LeClerc was counting on. The Liberals story is about what we expected, but those National Labour results are weak; they are still on course to form the Official Opposition in the House, but in the Senate, unless they find a raft of votes somewhere out there, you can tell they are going to be weak.

HBC CONTINUING LIVE COVERAGE - ELECTION 5642

Vanessa:
Alright folks welcome back. I'm Vanessa Taylor and we are continuing our coverage of Election night 5642. Let's turn to Adelia. Adelia is the true Conservative heartland and Hutori's most populous province. Of the one hundred fifteen seats total across the province, at dissolution, the Conservatives held seventy eight of them. National Labour was in second at seventeen, the Liberals held eleven, Greens seven and the Republicans three. Marie Kincaid spent all of her time in this province, hoping the conservative slant of Adelia would either secure her additional seats, or put something into the Senate. Let's see those results. 

 House Results – Adelia (116 seats):

• Conservatives – 82 (+3)
  
• Labour – 15 (–2)
  
• Liberals – 10 (–1)
  
• Greens – 7 (–)
  
• Republicans – 2 (–1)

Vanessa:
Let’s be clear; the entire race for Adelia was a fight for second. No one was expecting to catch the Conservatives here. Prime Minister Woodbury was easily re-elected in her riding of Acton Groomsbridge with 83% of the vote. 

Arthur:
And the numbers don’t lie. This was a message to the country. After a rough year, war and all, the people of Adelia still trust Woodbury’s Conservatives more than everyone else combined. There’s no splintering here, the Conservatives grabbed 52% of the total vote across the province. This wasn't even close.

Jasmyn:
Not to mention, they picked up three ridings in the foothills north of Glentingham that were supposed to be “in play.” Labour never showed up. Liberals ran ghost campaigns. The Republicans were supposed to be the opposition, and it looks like they just folded to the Conservative juggernaught.

Arthur:
One of those seats; MacCallum Valley East, a Green-Labour fight turned nasty in the final week over infrastructure approvals. Labour’s vote collapsed, Greens held—but the Tories walked right up the middle and won it by 700 votes. I can promise that the Conservatives are likely eccastic that not only did their monsterious majority in the province hold, but expanded on top of that, including taking half of the seats available in the Senate.

Vanessa:
With those 81 seats adding onto their total in the House and the six additional seats in the Senate, HBC is prepared to make the following projections:

PROJECTION: THE CONSERVATIVES WILL FORM A MAJORITY GOVERNMENT IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
PROJECTION: THE CONSERVATIVE WILL FORM THE LARGEST PARTY IN THE SENATE

Vanessa:
Prime Minister Rosalyn Woodbury is going to secure a historic third majority mandate. Whether it'll be smaller or bigger remains to be seen, but with HBC projecting at least forty seats in at least in both Lagard and Falristan the opposition parties can't catch.

The fight is now on for who will form the Official Opposition, and who will serve as the de-facto true opposition in the Senate. Before we go to the mountains of Lagard let's review the current total seat counts.

Jasmyn: Conservatives still in clear control, and the fight for Official Opposition still very much in the air in the House. National Labour holds a ten seat lead over their competitors, but Lagard and Falristan are two provinces where the Greens and Liberals respectfully were polling well. We'll see if that's enough to close the gap. The Conservatives also have a very clear edge in the Senate, though, with only twenty four Senate races left to call, I don't think they'll win seventeen of them, so the Senate will be an interesting spot to look to. The Opposition is extremely even in the Senate.

Vanessa: 
Thanks Jasmyn, alright folks let's go the mountains and see where else this election will take us.

Lagard is a truly fascinating province. Mountain locked on all sides, and probably the single strongest province for the Greens. Provinicially they've held the Premiers Office since the 5620s, through various coalition governments or supply and confidence agreements, but always the largest party. It's a different story at the federal level where, despite their strength, they have struggled to make real headway. At dissolution, the Conservatives held twenty five seats, the Greens eleven, National Labour seven and the Liberals two. But with the Senate now in play we can see if the Conservative power comes from simply voter effiiency or real long term strength in the province. Let's see the results.

Vanessa:
Okay, okay. You can say it—this was a Green flex. They picked up a pair of seats, both at the expense of the Conservatives. The Conservatives still hold the most seats, but the Greens actually made breakthroughs while National Labour and the Liberals kept what they held.

Arthur Koresh:
Let’s be clear: the Greens here and proved what we already knew; they are strong in the province. They picked up 5 of the seats in the Senate, that has got to feel good for Jason LeClerc, but also likely raises some eyebrows on how ruthlessly efficient the Conservative GOTV game is. This is where the Greens have proven they aren’t just a protest vote—they’re a governing party in waiting. Someday.

Jasmyn Ilari:
But the Tories didn’t roll over. They still hold 23 seats. This is not a green sweep. I think it goes to show the staying power of the Conservatives and Rosalyn Woodbury specifically, she had fairly deep ties to the province; she's an alumn of the University of Constantine, she's good friends with Princess Charlotte. As long as she's at the helm of the party, they can't be counted out. 

Arthur:
I've got to say that the Liberals and National Labour only held the line and only took three of the Senates available says they are stagnant here. Lagard might be safely moved into a Green camp from here on out.

Vanessa:
The polls are about to close in Falristan, Hutori's final province, but let's take a look at the current overall standings.

Arthur: 
Not major movement, but definitely movement here. Conservatives are actually up net one, despite taking some losses, due to further crippling the Republicans. National Labour is continuing to slide, though they do poll reasonably well in Falristan, and the Greens have traditionally struggled there, so I don't think they'll catch them. I know the Liberals are extremely anxious. I think Jack Delamont is counting on a big night in Falristan to reverse his fortunes and at least spring ahead of the Greens again. Whatever else happens they likely won't form the Official Opposition, but if the Liberals don't claw into the Conservatives seats here, we may be about to write his political eulogy.

Jasmyn: 
This is also the fifth straight province where the Republicans failed to make any breakthroughs into the Senate. Falristan is their last chance to have any form of breakthrough, anywhere in the country. If they fail to get to that theshold, they'll be the only party without both Official Party Status or any presence in the Senate.

Vanessa: 
Thanks you to. Alright let's take a peek at Falristan; Hutori's prarie province used to be one of the most reliable Liberal provinces in the nation, but since the rise of Rosalyn Woodbury it quickly became another redoubt for the Conservatives. At dissolution they dominated with twenty nine seats in the province. National Labour was in second with fifteen, the Liberals with eleven and the Greens with six. Let's see the results as they pour in.

House Results – Falristan (62 seats):

• Conservatives – 30 (+1)

Vanessa:
So here’s the scoop. Conservatives continue to dominate the flatlands and around Carter City. But those foothill ridings? Surprise flips to the Liberals. The Conservatives would actually be down if it weren't for three pick ups from Labour, in their few remaining rural bastions.

Arthur:
Still, it’s not enough to shift the balance. Labour hemorrhaged votes in rural ridings, and the Greens couldn’t punch through outside of Eskerwood Foothills, where they keep eking out wins by skin-of-their-teeth margins. They've got some influence still in the north around Corktown.. but that's it.

Jasmyn:
The big story here is the Republican collapse. They had three competitive ridings in 5638. They won zero this time. In Falristan? That’s death, and this was their last chance to get any wins on the board. That's the story for the Republicans.

One riding we observed was South Keswick Plains was a fight between a Kensington-backed Liberal rookie and a strong Labour candidate. The Liberal won with 23 votes. A full recount is expected, but it doesn’t matter. The symbolism is clear: Labour’s rural relevance is dying in real time and it's occured all over the country.

That’s the game, folks. Prime Minister Rosalyn Woodbury's Conservatives have gone onto their third majority mandate, and even stronger mandate then former Prime Minister Robert Calloway pulled off on his third mandate. National Labour under Evelyn Markham will remain as the principal Opposition in the House, though they are tied for third in the Senate. The Greens are continuing to make gains across the country, and it looks like the Liberal spiral we saw since Michael Kensington has begun to reverse itself, and the Republicans are on life support, we do not see a world where they will make a comeback.

Good evening, Hutori. I’m Vanessa Taylor, and this is a special HBC broadcast. After six days, a whirlwind of diplomacy, history, and quietly candid royal moments, the first major Luthorian Imperial visit to the Kingdom of Hutori in over a generation has come to a close.
His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Richard II, and Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Valeria, departed this morning from Hutorian Forces Base Bradley Jameson, concluding a monumental State Visit that’s already being described as a defining moment in modern Hutorian–Luthorian relations.


The royal couple was welcomed with full honours by His Majesty King Alexander III, Her Majesty Queen Madeline and Prime Minister Rosalyn Woodbury at Hutorian Forces Base Jameson where an honour guard of the Royal Guard were there to greet them followed by a ceremonial drive through the streets of Bekenial, with throngs of cheering citizens waving the flags of Hutori and Luthori side by side, including old forgotten Imperial Commonwealth flags not seen since the times of Empress Sarah IV.

At Newport Castle, the Luthori Monarch were hosted at a massive State Banquet. Dignitaries, diplomats, Viewtubers, activists, and royalty dined under crystal chandeliers. Both monarchs gave stirring speeches pledging renewed friendship.

On Day Two, Emperor Richard II made Hutorian history, becoming the first foreign sovereign and first foreign head of state to address the National Senate since the establishment of the Kingdom of Hutori in 5369.

Hutori was once a jewel in the Luthorian Crown—but more than that, it was always a nation of its own spirit. In the streets of Bekenial and the forests of Kenai, in the mountains of Lagard, the shores of Roccato and the prairies of Falristan, your people forged a society that demanded to be free—and did so with grace, resolve, and vision. Independence was not our rupture—it was our rebirth. It is a rare gift in history when two nations, once colonizer and colony, remain not adversaries but allies. Rarer still when the bloodlines of our Houses, Orange-Villayn-Armstead and Steuart-Carmichael, continue not only in name, but in affection, in letters, in weddings, in memory.

The world watched us during the Second Kundrati War. It was not ancient loyalty that brought our armies shoulder to shoulder—it was principle. It was belief. It was the quiet unspoken truth that, when tyrants rise and democracies stand alone, Luthori and Hutori will never look away.
In the waters of the Artanian Sea, in the fields of Lirnak, in the corridors of command, our banners flew together, and our sons and daughters bled together.
We proved once more that friendship between nations is not kept in treaties but in trenches.

On Day Three His and Her Imperial Majesties departed from Bekenial and flew to Falristan where the Emperor met behind closed doors with the Grand Council of the Mashacara peoples.

There, he listened as Maschcara Elders laid bare the pain of colonial dispossession, cultural destruction, and historical silencing.

In a raw public address afterward, the Emperor acknowledged“Luthori’s scars remain visible here. But I do not come to erase them. I come to share in the responsibility of healing them.”

The words spoken in private between the Emperor and the Chiefs of Falristan's Six Nations have not been made public but it is stated that Chief Alina Redleaf stated. "The Foreign Crown took the first steps on the path to reconciliation. The House of Steuart-Carmichael and the peoples of Hutori have already walked this path, let us see if the House of Orange-Villyan-Armstead and the peoples of Luthori have the same dedication."

On Day 4, the Emperor flew to St. Adrian, where he met with prominent members of the Kenais-Canrillaise community before delivering an address to the Legislative Assembly at Province House, escorted by the Premier of Kenai and the province's Lieutenant Governor, His Grace Samuel Carmichael, the Duke of New Sertei, who is serving as Regent of the province while Prince Michael, the Grand Duke of Kenai, childhood, where he delivered his remarks in both Luthorian and Canrillaise, earning significant praise for honoring Kenai's official multilingual policy. 

He spoke of inclusion, diversity in monarchy, and a future where “crowns listen more than they command.”

In a symbolic closing gesture, the Emperor met with Canrillaise cultural leaders and announced a joint cultural grant between Luthori and Kenai artists and designers.

The final full day of the Emperor's visit were private, with Emperor Richard II and King Alexander III had multiple joint private audiences. No official communiqués were released but multiple sources confirmed discussions included military alignment, intelligence cooperation, and economic partnerships.

Meanwhile, Empress Valeria and Queen Madeline met with multiple organisations for women, children, and marginalised communities, highlighting the work of the Steuart Foundation in aiding those communities, and allowing the Empress to join several organizations as a patron to give her full support to their work.

In one powerful moment, she was seen in tears hugging a young abuse survivor who told the Empress. “You’re the first person in power who made me feel seen.”

This morning, Emperor Richard and Empress Valeria departed Bekenial, again being escorted by an honour guard of the Royal Guard. As the aircraft lifted off, the sound of both nations’ anthems played together bringing an end to nearly full week state long visit.

The Leadership Race to replace Prime Minister Rosalyn Woodbury has Leader of the Conservative Party has concluded with Defence Minister Mark Dailey having come out on top of a competitive 6 candidate race. The six candidates were Dailey himself, Finance Minister Tasha Ulrich, Premier of Adelia Melissa Houston, Minister of Rural Economic Development Warren Douglas, Republican Leader Marie Kincaid and backbench Conservative MP Aaron Castillo of Kenai. 
The full Conservative leadership took a full year to finish, with the candidates signing up members across the country for the convention, held in Acton, Adelia. Tasha Ulrich and Premier Houston were both considered the frontrunners; with Ulrich being considered Rosalyn Woodbury's most loyal lieutenant and best seen as a continuation of her policies and Premier Melissa Houston having almost as high popularity as Prime Minister Woodbury in Adelia itself, which is both Hutori's most populous province and considered the most reliable conservative stronghold in the country. 
Defence Minister Dailey was considered a blackhorse candidate, with a path to victory if a narrow one. As it turns out his ground game, which was considered incredible, was able to overcome Ulrich and Houston's fundraising advantages. Dailey is considered a favorite of the populists and the defence hawks, having served as Rosalyn Woodbury's Defence Minister since she first came into office, and was the Defence Minister during the Second Kundrati War eight years ago. 
Following the first round of voting, Premier Houston held the lead with MP Castillo was eliminated. The second round of voting ended with Premier Houston still in the lead and elimiating Marie Kincaid as a candidate. The Kincaid camp ran a surprising strong campaign, and her populist streak lead both Warren Douglas and Mark Dailey receiving the lionshare of her delegates. At the end of the third round of voting, Defence Minister Dailey took a narrow lead over Premier Houston, and Warren Douglas was knocked off the list, with the majority of his delegates going to both Houston and Dailey, which allowed Dailey to keep his lead. The fourth round of voting led to the elimination of Finance Minister Ulrich with only Premier Houston and Defence Minister Dailey left standing. Despite a last minute push by Ulrich's delegates mostly endorsing Houston, Dailey was able to hold enough of his coalition together to narrowly win with the leadership 50.7% to 49.3%.
During his victory speech Dailey swore to be a unifying figure for the Conservatives moving forward, thanking Prime Minister Woodbury for her years of service to both Hutori and to the party.

Dailey is expected to be sworn in at Newport Castle in early May, the moment Prime Minister Woodbury resigns, following a few week transition period.
Prime Minister-designate Dailey is inheriting a powerful political machine, with a firm majority in the House of Commons, a plurality of the seats in the Senate, polls giving him a fifteen point lead over his closest competition and a deeply divided opposition.

Prime Minister Designate Mark Dailey has been sworn in by His Majesty King Alexander III at Newport Castle, along with the new Prime Minister's Cabinet.
Prime Minister Dailey unveiled a much more streamlined Cabinet then Rosalyn Woodbury's only appointing 18 people to the Cabinet, announcing this as both his Campaign Cabinet and his Government Cabinet; with the next federal election less then a year away it's likely this is the Cabinet that will be going into next year's election. The Cabinet was a blend between new blood and old guard Woodbury loyalists, which many analysts expected.

Unsurprising was the reappointment of Tasha Ulrich as Minister of Finance, and giving her the nod as Deputy Prime Minister moving forward, likely in a bid to reassure the Cabinet, and the greater Hutorian electorate that Dailey would not forget the Woodbury loyalists. Another of his leadership rivals, Aaron Castillo, was also appointed to Cabinet in Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs. Nominally the portfolio given to veteran Ministers who need to take the lead in interprovincial relations, some analysts expect that Castillo is being eased in, though some state this was a direct slap in the face to Premier Houston, putting a rookie in charge of the file that deals with relations with the Premiers like her. Dailey also appointed leadership rival Warren Douglas back to Cabinet, and promoted him to Minister of Foreign Affairs, a shock to many, though with Dailey's own preference for dealing with foreign policy himself, many expect this to both sideline Warren while still "rewarding" him, with many expecting Dailey to attempt to force the old warhorse to retire in the next cycle.

Prime Minister Dailey also took the time to elevate Senator Robert Calloway, the Leader of the Government in the Senate, to the position of a full Cabinet slot, giving the former Hutorian Prime Minister direct access to Cabinet and ensuring that the government's agenda is able to move smoothly through Parliament.

Axminister Ironworks Releases First Half Dozen Bekenial III classs Frigates to RHN & KRN

Defence Minister David Huxley was on hand at Axminister Ironworks with Kalistani Ambassador Joseph Alavrez for the formal launching of the first six Bekenial III class Frigates, a long joint shipbuilding operations between the Kingdom of Hutori and the Antanonese Empire. Axminister Ironworks handled the construction of the shell while both Hutorian and Kalistani engineers worked on the internals making it a true joint ship building exercise. Also hand was Vice Admiral Thomas Steuart-Carmichael, the Chief of Naval Operations of the Royal Hutorian Navy. The Vice Admiral is rumored to have specifically requested this detail as he was the commanding officer of Hutorian forces in Exercise Leviathan Tide that the Kalistani Regular Navy took part in, and served for a short time as the Naval Attache to the Empire before his service in the Second Kundrati War.
Admiral Steuart-Carmichael announced that the Bekenial III (the Empire's chosen name for them locally would be announced by Kaliburg seperately) would be jointly constructed throughout the entire life of the contract, with both one for Hutori and one for Kalistan always being constructed at the same time. While the size of the Kalistani order by KalMilInCo was never publicly stated, sources at the DND have stated the RHN will be replacing every single Bekenial and Bekenial II still in service with a Bekenial III under an limited contract. There are currently more then 40 Frigates, both Bekenial and Bekenial II, in service with the RHN, with this expecting to keep Axminister Ironworks engineers and dock hands employed for decades.
The Bekenial III itself is considered the most modern and lethal submarine in Terra. Designed from the keel up as the apex anti-submarine hunter and escort, the Bekenial III improves on everything that the Bekenial II already did well, and aids in additional Kalistani improvements to weapons and electronics, with further upgrades for Anti-Air interception and of course interoperability; one of the key strengths of the RHN is their ability to seamlessly blend together in flotillas, squadrons and fleets, and those same command systems are front in center in the Bekenial III making it so any ship can just as easily be commanded by a Hutorian Naval Officer as a Kalistani, Gadurian or even Lodamese officer. 

In Hutori the Bekenial III will be named after Hutorian cities, with each new ship replacing one of the old ones of the same name, with the first three off the line and now in service being the new HMHS Bekenial, Acton and Axminister. The Bekenial III is the second joint naval project between Kalistan and Hutori, with the Newport/Luxon class Cruiser still in operation by both navies today.

Evelyn Markham dumped by National Labour after falling to Fourth

National Labour Leader Evelyn Markham has been dumped by the Party following the collapse of the party in Parliament following last years election. Going into the election, National Labour was the Official Opposition, and fell below both the surging Greens and and resurgent Liberals. National Labour's apparent strategy during the election was relying on organized labour to deliver their members. Despite efforts by union leadership, the membership was seemingly unswayed and went Green en masse, with the moderate National Labour voters going to the Liberals for the most part. 

Markham alledgedly refused to believe the polls even during the leadup and on election day, with her focusing on communicating with the Unions directly, rather then with voters.

National Labour has elected Deputy Leader Liam Eddington as the new National Labour Leader. Eddington served as Markham's Deputy Leader and as interim Leader of the Official Opposition when Markham was not in Parliament. Eddington made a vow to get working class voters back to National Labour and prove they were the only real alternatives to the governing Conservatives.

Jack Delamont Replaced former by Kenai Premier Katelyn Ashcroft.

Despite improving the Liberals seats count in both the House and Senate, long time Liberal Leader Jack Delamont has resigned as Leader of the Liberals "in an effort to bring new blood into the party" according to a statement. The Liberal campaign had been plagued by alledged constant infighting between Delamont and former Liberal Leader, Prime Minister and current Senator Michael Kensington on strategy, with Kensington advocating for a broader approach in provinces to increase voter share rather then individual ridings, something analysts have cynically pointed out, would help elect more Liberal Senators rather then MPs. The infighting in the Liberal camp seeming benefitted the Greens more then anyone else.

The Liberals have elected Kenai Premier Katelyn Ashcroft as the new Liberal Leader. Premier Ashcroft stated she would remain as Premier of Kenai until the next election, but would step down prior to any election. Senator Michael Kensington attempted to run for Leader of the Party, but was beaten on the second ballot by Premier Ashcroft and former Mashacara Chief Eric Rivers, whom Ashcroft defeated on the final ballot.

In what many market analysts are calling a “watershed moment” in post-war economic diplomacy, three of Hutori’s largest and most influential corporations have formally launched a sweeping investment initiative in the Republic of Kundrati. The Carter Energy Group, Blackwell Technology, a subsidiary of Horizon Technology, and Gold Lion Capital, all pillars of Hutori’s economic engine and global presence — have officially broken ground on a series of multi-billion Lira investments aimed at supporting Kundrati’s rebuilding efforts while establishing strong commercial ties with a former wartime adversary.

The Mashacara-owned Carter Energy Group, Hutori’s most dominant corporate entity, is leading the charge. With an initial investment exceeding 40 billion Lira, Carter has signed agreements to establish joint ventures with Kundrati’s public and private utilities to modernize energy grids, expand clean energy projects, and improve regional access to stable power.
In a move praised by Kundrati’s economic ministry, Carter has voluntarily capped its market share to 20%, explicitly affirming it will not seek dominance, but partnership and has committed to hiring 90% Kundrati citizens and nationals for it's Kundrati based operations.  “We’re not here to extract. Blackwell Technology, a Luthorian-based subsidiary of Horizon Technology Corporation, will act as Horizon’s Artanian arm in this historic expansion. Their focus: distributing Horizon’s world-class consumer electronics and AI-enabled devices across Kundrati. Retail partnerships have already been signed with major Kundrati chains, and a new logistics hub is being constructed outside Jildrath. A major PR push is expected later this year, with Blackwell hoping to establish Kundrati-assembled Horizon devices in 5649. “This is more than just smartphones and tablets,” said Horizon CTO Danielle Ross. “It’s about transferring technical skills, building up a tech-literate workforce, and giving Kundrati youth access to the world.”

As one of the most powerful financial players in the northern hemisphere, Gold Lion Capital has finalized regulatory approval to open full-service branches and lending operations in Kundrati. Gold Lion will offer both corporate and consumer banking services, alongside a robust local investment office designed to fund regional infrastructure projects and small business growth. Per the agreement, 65% of all Gold Lion staff in Kundrati will be locally hired, and the firm has agreed to establish a public oversight advisory board that includes Kundrati civil society figures, and 30% of the bank's Kundrati based profits will remain in Kundrati in Kundrati financial institutions.
