The Dolgavan Expeditionary Force ( Dolgavanas ekspedīcijas spēki) has landed in Legionary Kundrati, to take part in liberating Kundrati from the current Legionary authoritarian regime. The news comes delayed, as we will not share where the DES is operating, however the Dolgavan Ministry of Defense announced what the DES has in terms of units. The force is led by veteran Dolgavan Commander and General Krišjāns Bušs. The force consists of the following:

1st Airborne Combat Group – “Desant Devils” 
6th Armoured Combat Group – “Hodari Devils” 
1st Mountain Combat Group – “Kalnietis North” 
2nd Mountain Combat Group – “Kalnietis South”
DES Expeditionary Combat Support Group  

We cannot share information further at this time, however the force is actively fighting alongside Hutorian units in the liberation of Kundrati. The Prime Minister spoke briefly about this deployment saying that

I have full confidence in the men and women of the Dolgavan Armed Forces to do their duty and to be courageous and to do their duty faithfully. The people of Dolgava stand beside you, and the people of the free world support you!

For Dolgava the quick deployment of troops is crucial in helping to turn the tide of battle in Kundrati. By standing against tyranny and for what is right, we will be on the good side of history, in defeating extremism and evil wherever it may reside.

The Reiksaima has passed an amendment to the Dolgavan Constitution establishing a second legislature. The legislature, which will be named the Saimavaldis which translates to Luthorian roughly as a “Governor of the Gathering", this assembly will be split into thirds, one third will be elected by Dolgavan citizens in elections. One third will be appointed by the monarch, in this case Queen Jaanika, and one third will be appointed by the Dolgavan Prime Minister. This way the assembly is balanced and provides another roadblock to one part of the Dolgavan Government having too much power.

This change is one of the largest changes in the Dolgavan government in centuries, and marks something the Social Democrats have been pushing for years at this point. The Dolgavan Prime Minister, proudly spoke after the passage of the amendment saying that

Dolgava has taken a bold step toward government accountability, and safeguarding democracy in Dolgava, while ensuring that no one figure in the Government is too powerful. We promised we would create a second chamber to foster government accountability and transparency. For too long the office of Prime Minister has had too much power in the Dolgavan Government, and my government and I have been working to hold the Prime Minister accountable, no matter who he or she may be.

The Conservatives voted against the second legislature citing that this was a clear power grab by the Social Democrats, saying that the Prime Minister having a third of the chamber nominated, would ensure that it would be in Social Democrat control for decades. However this has been addressed saying that she will nominate members based on the makeup of the Reiksaima, which would ensure that the chamber matches the public vote. The Queen has also said that she will nominate people based on their service to the country, as well as getting a "diverse" background of members from all parts of Dolgavan industry and society as a whole.

Polls show that most Dolgavans support this measure, with 67% of the population in polls supporting the creation of a second legislature, and polls show the confidence in the Krauze government has held strong throughout the war and these past few years. For them this is a promise kept, and a reminder that they are promoting democracy in government.

The Dolgavan Expeditionary Force has returned home, after a 4 month deployment to Kundrati, in which they supported Hutori's nothern push through the Legionary state. The soldiers returned to Hutori over a week ago, and now the returning soldiers have landed at Wolfgang Petermann Airforce Base in Hodari, where they reunited with their families. The meetings were emotional, with emotions running high for many, and joy and tears being ever present.

The DES was very effective, helping Hutorian armored units break through in the north of Kundrati. That push being the main reason the Legionary state collapsed. While fighting has broadly been reported as fierce throughout the country, this remains the same for Dolgava, as the casualty rate stands at 756 Dolgavans killed and many more injured. For the families of those who have lost their loved ones, the Dolgavan Government has promised they will be relief in the form of monetary support. The Dolgavan Prime Minister Bonaventūra Krauze has promised that the families of those who lost their lives "will not be forgotten", and that "Dolgava will do everything in our power to honor their legacy and support the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice".

The operation was a massive success, with many Dolgavans being honored with medals and the unit receiving a royal citation of valor. For Dolgavans the government has remained extremely popular, with Krauze and her party seen as successfully helping Hutori, Luthori, Kalistan and others in liberating Kundrati, and with the Dolgavan portion of the conflict being short, it has been seen as a success for the government.

For the soldiers and their families, they are just happy their loved ones are home. The wife of a young soldier, with tears in her eyes said what many others are feeling, she told reporters simply this, while embracing her husband "Thank God, I am just happy that my Trofims is home safe and sound".

The Dolgavan Prime Minister Bonaventūra Krauze visited Wolfgang Petermann Airforce Base, and the space center located there to give a special announcement. The announcement comes as several space startups have begun their own space programs in Dolgava as well in recent months, with 1 company applying for the permits needed to begin testing at Wolfgang Petermann Airforce Base.

In coordination with these attempts the Dolgavan Government has read the writing on the wall, and decided to activate the Dolgavan Space Agency, (Dolgavanas Kosmosa aģentūr) with a plan to gather companies that will work with Dolgava to push the boundaries of aerospace engineering. The DSA/DKA

KosmoDolgava is a brand new company that is gathering funding, and its CEO a man by the name of Roland Saar is already a head executive at two Dolgavan technology companies. This company looks to send cheap rockets to space, and attempt to create reusable rockets. They have received millions of DOLs in funding from Dolgavan businessmen and private funding has helped to boost interest in space travel.

Bonaventūra Krauze spoke today that the Dolgavan Government will do its part to restart Dolgava's space program, and reach for the stars. She stood in the Dolgavan space museum next to the first capsule that landed Dolgavans on Luna saying that

Dolgava has long valued innovation and scientific knowledge. We have achieved many great things, and we will do so again! This time with both public and private support, we will send more Dolgavans to the stars than ever before.

The DSA's main headquarters has been reactivated, after budget cuts years ago, and there is a flurry of hiring and coordination with companies and universities and the Dolgavan military as well. The Prime Minister said that they have received support from Kalistan and Hutori, in helping restart the Dolgavan space program, and support in both the public and private sector. Her Social Democrat majority will seemingly approve the necessary funding, and she has full cooperation from the military as well.

Further details will be ongoing, and this is a process that is expected to take many years, but if Dolgava can achieve even half of its stated goals, it could fundamentally change spaceflight across Terra, and help Dolgava become a world leader in rocket and missile development. For now we can expect testing to take place in both Dolgava and Kalistan, as Kalistan has offered their facilities, that are closer to the equator, and thus better for satellite launches.

For Dolgava this space revival may be its biggest space project ever, and has the backing of many groups and companies this time. If Dolgava is to push innovation further, the best time to start is now!

The Dolgavan Crown Prince Kazimierz by choice has officially joined Her Majesty's Navy as a Petty Officer. Kazimierz has graduated early from school, and will be finishing his higher education at the Dolgavan Naval Academy in Dolgavapils, the home of the Dolgavan fleet. The decision is a choice made by the Crown Prince as he wants to serve his country in uniform.

To protect the Crown Prince, the name of the vessel he will be serving on, or where he will be deployed will not be public knowledge, but it expected that he will be deployed overseas in the coming weeks or months. Kazimierz has sacrificed a potential career in professional ice hockey, as he received high grades for his play in college, and was offered contracts to play in minor league affiliates in Dolgava, however with him choosing national service, that will have to be cancelled.

The Royal Family issued a statement praising the decision made by Kazimierz, calling him "committed to Dolgava" and saying that he has a "sense of duty" and the "epitome of leadership". He will serve his country to the best of his ability, and there are many people close to the Royal Family that have said that he is "ready to lead and to serve".

In a shocking announcement, the Grandmaster of the Holy Order of Saint Parnum hte Thunderer, has announced that the ancient order has been "activated" following their claim that Dolgava is falling away from Hosian doctrine, and falling for what they called "worldism", or the belief in the worldly things, instead of Hosianism.

The Order of Saint Parnum the Thunderer was founded in 2825 and participated in the Dolgavan Crusade in 3423-3440, crushing Luthorian privateers and Pontesi pirates, before conquering the pagan lands inside of Dolgava, and helping establish a unified Dolgava. Their mission as both a religious organization has not changed, with them maintaining influence in Dolgava for thousands of years, however in times of crisis, they have reactivated the military order of Saint Parnum the Thunderer, when Dolgava is ever threatened. The exact whereabouts of the group in the year 3452 are unknown, but a large portion of the order stayed in Dolgava, building a castle and continuing their work, even after the end of the Augustinian Empire and the end of the crusades. This group has maintained a presence as a paramilitary organization which strives to maintain the Hosian faith inside of Dolgava, and defend Dolgava against any outside attacker or invader.

The current Supreme Master of the Order of Saint Parnum the Thunderer in Dolgava, Konstantīns Bīriņš made the announcement, calling for all members of the order, and anyone who is a protector of the faith to show, "good diligence and charity", and that "threats from within, are as dangerous as external threats".

The Augustinian Church of which the order follows, has had declining influence in Dolgava for many years, it is true that the Confessional Church of Dolgava is the largest Hosianism sect in the country, with the Royal Family long ago changing from Augustinians to Confessionals, however the Augustinians still are the second largest church in the country.

The bigger complaint from the order, is the growing straying away from Orthodox Hosian beliefs, with many forgetting tradition, falling away from the church, and many more factors. This along with the recent scare of criminal gangs, that attacked churches, something that has been a major concern for the church. The Grandmaster said that any more targeting of churches, will be met with the "full force of the Holy Order", which would certainly mean an armed confrontation.

The Holy Order has over 500 knights, and thousands of members and has seen a massive surge in growth over the past few years. Some progressive politicians have labeled this group as "terrorists", but they have devoted their existence for charity for many years, and this position remains unpopular, as the order is well liked across Dolgava. The order once again seemingly is trying to flex its influence over Dolgava once again, something many may support or detest.

The Dolgavan Government has proposed new sweeping legislation that will hold businesses accountable and increase transparency for consumers. These laws will help Dolgavan consumers to be better informed about prices and price margins. This law will help keep companies accountable for the products they sell, and increase transparency.

The new law requires all Dolgavan companies, or products sold in Dolgava, to include profit margins, along with the price, at both stores and online retailers. This law will ensure that all companies give accurate information to Dolgavan consumers, so they can better know what they are paying for, and they can make a better decision in terms of buying products. The Dolgavan Minister for Economics Kristiāna Bērziņa who made a short statement saying that

We believe in the simple concept of transparency for consumers. When people know how much money companies are making off of their products. For too long there have been anti-consumer practices. This government will forever support people instead of corporations. We want transparency for the Dolgavan people, it will help competition, and help the people.

Critics have claimed that these changes will impact businesses, however many pro-consumer groups, have praised the Social Democrat government citing how it will boost competition and capitalism, while keeping companies honest. The Social Democrats have long advocated for consumers, and this bill does just that.

Bonaventūra Krauze will be going back to 7 Pilsaime Straße as Prime Minister once again, with her party being overwhelmingly supported for a unprecedented 4th consecutive term. Krauze will form her fourth government, with her party gaining seats in the Reiksaima. Krauze was at a watch party in Aikums, where she appeared emotional, telling the crowd that

We were told our movement would fizzle out. We were told the Social Democrats could not properly run a government. However, friends we have the longest, and most stable government in Dolgava's modern history. Tonight, our mandate has expanded further, and we have seen gains across the country. Today, we are reminded, that the people support our policies, they support our efforts, and I am extremely honored and grateful to serve as your Prime Minister once again.

The election was another landslide. The results are as follows:

DPP: 26.4% - 50 seats
DKP:  6.4% - 12 seats
DSP: 67.2% - 127 seats
Others/Independents: 0.1% - 0 seats

The 5642 Election Results

Krauze was humble and the most emotional we have seen her after this victory, this makes sense because her party was on shaky ground in the polls, with some polls showing the DPP performing much better than they did in the actual result. Krauze has navigated Dolgava through the Kundrati War, as well as solidifying a second legislature, weakening the power of the executive, and instituting soft socialist policies.

The DPP also gained 5 seats, with Jaanus Jogi saying that the DPP is the "party of the future". Jogi has been rumored to retire from politics, and he has helped several rising stars in the DPP grow in national recognition. The future of the DPP could be very interesting, and a close watch for political watchers. For the Conservatives, tonight was a disaster. Their party remains rudderless and now leaderless, with their leader losing his seat in the Reiksaima. The once proud party has not recovered from Toivo Meri, and has been reduced to 6 seats. If they want to come back, they need to take action and right the ship, and do it quickly.

For the Social Democrats, and Dolgava, this will mark 5 more years of Social Democratic leadership. Krauze seemingly has no endpoint in sight of staying on as PM, and she will shepherd the country through the foreseeable future.

As the year ends, Queen Jaanika has now been on the Dolgavan throne for 20 years. This year has been a celebration for the Queen, as she has made several trips to Dolgava's allies in Hutori and Kalistan, Luthori and other countries. For Jaanika, she also celebrated on the anniversary of her coronation, which took place on March 3rd. There was a massive celebratory parade, and there was a bank Holiday for Dolgava, with all public offices closed, and festivities lasting throughout the day and night. Jaanika made a speech thanking Dolgavans for their support saying. An excerpt is as follows:

I thank you, one and all for supporting me, praying for me and praying for the well being of my family, and our nation. Together we have stood for liberty and we have stood firm against Fascism. Together we have been a light to the world, of freedom and opportunity. I have served in this roll for 20 years, and I will continue to serve the Dolgavan people into the future!

The Queen had high profile friends come to visit this year, with the Kalistani Empress, Mary I Ananto visiting Dolgava soon after her wedding. Her along with her new husband Martin Collins-Ananto spent time with Queen Jaanika in which they were given one of the most prestigious suites in the Grey Palace. Mary met with Jaanika, as well as the Dolgavan Crown Prince Kazimierz, who was on leave from the navy, and got to meet the Empress of Kalistan. The visit was well received by the Dolgavan royals, with Jaanika and Crown Prince Kazimierz becoming good friends with Empress Mary and Martin Collins-Ananto.

Jaanika has served for 20 years, and has served with dignity, grace and impartiality. The country celebrated Jaanika's 20 years, a remarkable reign, even if she will seemingly be Queen for a long time to come. May God Bless our Karaliene, and God Bless Dolgava!

The Dolgavanas Kosmosa Aģentūr (Dolgavan Space Agency) ran their first rocket test today and it ended in a explosion at launch. The rocket nearly instantly exploded on the launchpad, destroying the Number 1 launchpad at Wolfgang Petermann Airforce Base. The rocket was intended to do a short low orbit mission, to test the concept of the rocket, and to start progress toward reliable rocketry designs.

"The test worked as intended", said Veneranda Beļavske the scientist at the launch "Going to space takes a time, and you are not always successful. We will continue to test, and make a platform that can go to space, that is why we are here, and we won't stop!"

The launch site will need to be repaired and rebuilt, after the explosion which will take months, but rockets will be launched again, and the DSA will continue its work. For now there has been a setback, but the future is where the program is focused on!
