The Nadiyan News Network, and more specifically its branch the World Of Entertainment, have announced their sponsorship and collaboration with the famous Nadiyan drag queen Crystal Glamour to help her produce the very first dragrace show in Terra.
Crystal Glamour made her starts in the notoriously socially liberal Free Democratic Republic of Brakav, she held drag shows at local bars in Zoetergraaf before quickly building a presence online and becoming an AIDS advocate alongside sharing the lives of LGBT folks in Nadiya that still face hardships even tho the confederal constitution enshrined their rights in the supreme law.
Nonetheless, Crystal has already announced that the first season of her dragrace will include 20 queens with a planned 5 seasons before she holds the first edition of All-Queens where the top 4 of the last 5 seasons will be selected to compete again and become the queen of drag.
Crystal Glamour's show aligns with the NNN's recent expansion into the world of entertainment and shows as the state-owned broadcaster has already announced their intention to sponsor and help create as much shows as possible to "encourage creative and artistic expression in the isles". The network released a roadmap of their upcoming shows which includes "Idiots on Terra", a comedic-documentary show that aims to vulgarize scientific and social topics, and "Artic Competition", a romance series about two hockey players notable one from Nadiya and the other from Hutori navigating their romantic life as they play in opposing teams for the championship.

The Terran Economic Forum, through its co-chair Alexandra Bacque, has announced that they will officially expand their membership registry following the successful holding of a preliminary conference in late May which showed the administration of the TEF and lack of preparedness for such an important event.
As such, the TEF's Council for the Future of Mankind doubled the budget allocated toward the filtering and handling of membership requests due to the organization being "overwhelmed" by the sheer number of applicants from across Terra.
"Even tho we are more than grateful to know that so many people want to join the Terran Economic Forum," they say, "the number of applicants has caused overcrowding in our membership department since both private and public entities try craming their way through the process which leads to backlogs happening and some requests not even being treated correctly."
Furthermore, the TEF overhauled its website alongside establishing two new councils namely the Council for Entrepreneurship and the Council for Economic Empowerment, with the latter being specifically meant for developing or underdeveloped countries that still struggle with handling their economies and the TEF aims to help those nations "successfully take advantage of their economic privileges".

Horror has struck the confederation as the case of the murder of Éabha Callaghan has been propelled to the Supreme Cooperative Court after the accused Penelope MacGiolla exhausted all of her appeals.
Penelope MacGiolla, a New Englian maid, is accused of murdering her colleague and fellow New Englia citizen Éabha Callaghan alongside the child she was supposed to care for when the couple that hired her were busy with work. Both Penelope and Éabha were part of an immigration workers program set up by the Nadiyan Commission for Refugees, Migrants & Asylum Seekers, with the New Englian government as a legal and safe way for their citizens to work and live in the Nadiyan Confederation without resorting to boat riding or plane stuffing to reach the shores of the Archipelago.
However, during their introduction of the case in front of the Supreme Justices of the Supreme Cooperative Court, the prosecutors of the Confederation requested the death sentence for Penelope MacGiolla and life without parole in the case of the first request being denied. Already, the decision has caused some public outcry as many still request for the SCC to abolish the death penalty nationwide instead of leaving it up to the republics.
Furthermore, the New Englian embassy is expected to release a statement soon regarding the unfolding of the case especially since one of their citizens is put on blast publicly with the prosecution seeking the death penalty and life in prison without parole. The trial is expected to put in jeopardy the Immigration system set with New Englia and even tarsnish the image of the nation as a whole.

As part of the Soviet Republic's commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second Trigunian War, the Lesnovian Socialist Soviet Republic recently unveiled a 100 meters statue in their capital Spask to commemorate the lives lost during the war.
Officially called the "Mother Nadiya Calls" statue, it stands on top of a hill overlooking the city of Spask. The statue itself took 3 years to be built while the museum complex and pantheon celebrating the leaders of the LSSR took 4 years, with the issue of water causing problems during the pour of the foundation that risked leading to sever civil engineering issues on the long run.
Nonetheless, Mother Nadiya Calls is directly pointed toward Rodashyam the old capital of the now disbanded Trigunian Tsardom while its gaze also looks over to Solmogrod, the political center of the doomsday cult of the Children of Yaoshi who had attacked the LSSR in coordination with the ATIP with the aim of crushing both Vrosnok and Lesnov before letting the children of Yaoshi run the Kirikan Island back to the stone age.
In addition to the statue, a mosaic illustrating the famous Battle for Spask in 5622 and the history of both Lesnov and Nadiya as the mural is also part of a pantheon where the remains of war heros and leaders of the Soviet Republic are set to be transported into after the end of technical tests with the brand-new metro station deserving the monument.

The Terran Economic Forum has officially welcomed its first Artanian and south Seleyan members through the adhesion of the Commonwealth that includes Luthori and Mordusia.
The two countries were granted membership during the Spring preliminary edition of the forum where Hexlon Imperial and Humperdinck Enterprises sent their own representatives to be guest speakers and participate in the "Mental Health and Its Role in the Betterment of Productivity" which was part of broader exam of the TEF's capabilities of hosting massive crowds since this year's preliminary edition counted 2000 attendees compared to the 1000 of last year.
Furthermore, Alexandra Bacque and Stefan Flack invited government officials from both Luthori and Mordusia to come be guest speakers when the preparations for the grand conference are done.
"The Commonwealth's adhesion of the Forum was a very delightful news indeed." Replies Alexandra when asked by a journalist, "Both Luthori and Mordusia represent great avenues for expertise and investments, their representatives were especially useful when local Nadiyan companies asked them about their strategies that led them to have such a successful business scheme." She adds, "Honestly, I can't wait to see what they have to offer next. The same thing applies to the other countries and companies wishing to join the TEF, it's really exciting."

In a recent show of their growing institutionalization, the Terran Economic Forum's board for Economic Harmony has announced that the organization will now allow for permanent delegations to be present after the correct protocols and security clearances are made.
Initially, the decision only included member states and barred observers or applicant entities from being allowed to have a permanent delegation present, but the policy was enlarged to both applicants and observers under the pretext of "deepening cooperation without using membership as a barrier for such endeavor."
Already, both the Nadiyan government and private corporations from the Nadiyan market have announced their intentions to deploy permanent delegations to the Terran Economic Forum following the successful adhesion of Nadiya to the organization after Luthori.
Furthermore, the Council for Prosperity has announced the adhesion of the Kingdom of Egelion and effectively the rest of the Kerisian Empire through the use of Egelian imperial corporations. Egelion's adhesion solidifies the position of the TEF as an international institution focused on cooperation and openness as reports of Kundrati, Bianjie, New Englia, and even Xsampa joining the fold through their private entities.

The "City of Arts" is about to be renamed again as a recent investigation launched by the Brakavan government found that the famous independentist poet Zoeter Rosenfeld had a history of sexual abuse and assault perpetrated against multiple women.
The proofs uncovered by the investigators led a massive uproar in Brakavan capital as many citizens, especially the youth, launched petitions to rename the city so "its legacy isn't soiled by a rapist". One of the petitions, created by the Brakavan Society of Arts, managed to gather the 1 million signatures requirements which quickly launched the issue to the Brakavan legislature for an emergency examination of the case.
The government quickly came up with a new name for the capital, that being Künstlerstadt meaning the "Artistic City". The propositions passed unanimously through the Brakavan parliament and the city council of Zoetergraaf with government workers already begining the process of tearing down the old government signs with the name of Zoeter still on them.
Furthermore, aligning with the renaming of Zoetergraaf. The Nadiyan Red Cross Society has announced the abandonment of the cross in favor of the a red square with a hallowed out center as the new symbol of the organization. The Society cited "the need for a clear separation between the church and the society" since the society was founded by nuns from the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya as a response for the Second Trigunian War.

Nadiyans headed to the polls today to elect a brand-new legislature and show if they were satisfied by the Yang Songhyon administration and the term of Edda Wahl as head of the Presidential Council, and to go the surprise of everyone both leaders came out stronger than before.
Concerning the presidential results, Edda Wahl managed to beat her opponents in the first round by securing 56% of the votes, a huge improvement from her 5695 results of 53% in the second round. The rise in votes and historic victory stems from her successful PR campaigns such as being a host in Crystal Glamour's Dragrace and being so active on social media that her accounts are the most followed on social media, coupled with her advocacy for gender equality and proposals within the council for societal reforms has garnered her enough supporters to easily secure a second term.
On the parliamentary side, Yang Songhyon saw his PCP-TAN coalition gain a historic trifecta with absolute stable majorities across all three chambers of parliament without having to negotiate with the FJIP for a confidence and supply agreement. Historically, parties and coalitions. The PCP and TAN's combined vote share amounted to more than 52% of the total votes, combined with their strategic voting strategies and rebranding when it comes to the judiciary, it allowed them to nearly wipe out the HMDP in both the Chamber of Nations and Chamber of Justices.
During his victory speech, Yang Songhyon said,
"The people of Nadiya have spoken, they want another 10 years of this government and they made that extremely clear by granting us a historic trifecta in parliament!" He exclaims, "Trust me, the Technocrats and the Pastels will make everything in their power to ensure that our promises are kept and that YOU will live a dignified and decent life equal and protected by the Gods."

The usually stable Nadiyan political arena has just witnessed the biggest seism in its history as the Technocratic Alliance for Nadiya and the Party for Peace and Prosperity aka Love have announced that they will be the new members of the Pastel Coalition for Progress.
Today, the leadership of the TAN, Love, and PCP held a conference today in Zarvospol where they announced,
"Following long and intense negotiations and talks between the PCP, TAN, and Love. We have decided that a formal adhesion of the parties into our alliance was the best outcome for all of us." Emanuil Gavrila Anastasianovich, current leader of the CPC. "Seeing the historic results of the last confederal elections, we realized that the Technocrats and the Lovers's ideas and plans for Nadiya allign closely with our own goals for the Confederation. So it was more than logical that the future of the Coalition has to include the TAN and Love."
The adhesion of TAN and Love grants the Pastels the first Cinqfecta in the history of Nadiya as now the alliance controls the NGA, CoN, CoJ, Chief Executive, and Presidential Council since Edda Wahl has already opened her sympathies for the PCP and the FJIP presidential councilors stating that they will support which ever side supports the indigenous people more openly.
Markets across the Confederation have already reacted positively to the news as the remaining doubts about Nadiya's supposed political instability were shattered and the institions of the Confederation showed once again their ability to ensure the never ending cycle of stability, continued governance, and effective leadership without it worrying the markets about any possible radical change in the central government's approach to both the economy and society.

Coinciding with the end of the administrative vacation period, the NGA has adopted the government's major reform package for the Confederation's taxes system and financial privacy laws.
The Financial Overhaul and Modernization Ordinance, or FOMO for short, was put forward by Commissioner Dryagina Angela by the Nadiyan Comission for Finances & Public Spending, as part of a list of a major reforms the newly expanded PCP government promised to deliver following the confederal elections of 5705.
In short, the new law lowers the confederal tax on benefits from 28% to 9,5% for companies realizing more than 2 billion rubles in benefits for Nadiyan companies while international companies see their tax fall from 35% to a minimum of 11% with the republics being allowed to also tax multinational corporations an additional 12 or 21%. On top of the newly introduced capital gains exemptions which effectively abolishes all taxes related to the selling or buying of actions and other private transactions unless their value surpasses a threshold of 800 million rubles.
For individuals, Nadiya has abandoned the proportional taxation in favor of a more progressive system which means that residents of Nadiya will have to pay a 11% confederal tax alongside the republican taxes imposed depending on the republic they live in and can results between 30% or 45% of their monthly income going straight toward financing the current welfare system and services provided by the Confederation and the republics.
Furthermore, indirect taxes have also seen their system reformed as the government lowered its VAT standard rates from 15% to 8,2% with daily consumption goods and housing seeing their own VAT go from 7% & 12% to a whopping 2,7% and 4% respectively. A 35% withholding tax is levied on dividends and Nadiyan bank interest. This tax is refundable for residents who correctly declare their assets has also been introduced by parliament to help elevate the financial burden put on citizens and residents of the country.
The FOMO has also updated the country's tax packages for wealthy foreigners by introducing the Lump-sum taxation in which wealthy foreigners not engaged in gainful employment in Nadiya can opt for taxation based on their expenditures rather than their actual income alongside a reduction of the wealth and inheritance tax that used to be 25% but has been reduced to 0,13% or 1% after the deduction of debts with republics being barred from surpassing the maximum value of 1%.
The FOMO effectively turns the Nadiyan Confederation into an international tax haven since the new laws permit for a lot of financial liberty compared to the old socialized economic model. The changes however are expected to be implemented in January 1st of 5708 aligning with the start of the 08 financial year after the planned adoption of a new budget in November of this year by the PCP government.
