Blueprint of the new car factory in Skrubio

Words are obviously now being followed by deeds. The Commissariat for Economic Affairs has assured the newly founded automobile cooperative "MoNa" (Movanta Nacio) of financial support for the construction of a factory in the industrial area of Skrubio. The new company wants to concentrate primarily on the production of simple, functional vehicles for everyone. The models are also to be developed in such a way that maintenance work and repairs can be carried out by laypeople using the simplest possible means. Prototypes are already being manufactured in smaller plants, which until recently produced for military purposes. The plans for these vehicles are currently still under lock and key. The construction works are scheduled to be finished in around two years, leading to first vehicles becoming available not earlier than 5590. MoNa's design philosophy has been highly praised by economic experts. According to them car manufacturers from capitalist systems rely too much on unnecessarily complicated vehicles that can only be serviced by professional mechanics and only with licensed spare parts. As soon as the "MoNa" project is underway, Zardian citizens should be able to escape this profit-hungry, harassing business practice. However, MoNa's more consumer-friendly approach will likely result in financial losses that can only be compensated in the long term by further economic interventions of the state.

It is with great sadness that we receive the news of the passing of your family head. Even though his relationship with Zardugal was not an easy one, the Supreme Council wishes him, on behalf of the Zardic people, that he may rest in peace and that his loss may be mourned and dealt with undisturbed by his relatives and his compatriots.
As a sign of our goodwill, we would like to send a collection of artifacts that are of Jelbic origin but were recovered on Zardic soil. Together with an addition of Augustan archaeological finds excavated not far away, they are intended to be a gift that reflects not only the deep historical bond between our peoples but also the responsibility for the future of our nations.

Despite all efforts, imports remain unavoidable. In order to minimize vulnerabilities to disruption, numerous agreements have been concluded for the import of essential resources. The distribution of dependence is intended to avoid major failures in the future, such as those that occurred after the instability in Kundrati and the embargo by the Jelbic Empire.

Trade agreement with Kalopia
Kalopia will be another building block in Zardugal's supply of essential natural resources. In exchange for diamonds and silicon, both raw materials needed to build a Zardic technology industry for the civilian market, large quantities of bauxite will be delivered to Kalopia. Subsidies will be necessary to achieve the agreed export volumes, but these will be more than compensated for by the expected overall economic benefit from the goods obtained.

Special position of Xsampa
While Xsampa possesses significant silicon deposits it is still lacking infrastructure to extract the full amount necessary to cover the estimated demands based on plans made for a Zardic tech industry. However Director Surfungo already announced that Zardugal would be willing to invest in the expansion of Xsampa's mining industry by financially supporting existing and potential new cooperatives.

Uranium from Dundorf and Beluzia
After trade relations with Kundrati were terminated, Zardugal relied on uranium from Dundorf to operate its nuclear power plant. The influx of radioactive fuel is now also supplemented by imports from Beluzia. In the foreseeable future, however, it is planned to forego the construction of additional nuclear power plants in order to further increase generator capacity. Instead, renewable energies are seen as the key to energy independence and should be promoted accordingly.

The NESET as a "jack of all trades"
Friendly relations with the NESET have proven to be extremely beneficial for the Zardic economy, particularly when temporary supply bottlenecks occur. Very profitable trade deals have often been reached with relatively little time and a bit of commercial skill.

With her new position, the 30-year-old has reached the pinnacle of her career so far. In addition to Luthorian, she is also fluent in Egelian. She previously worked as a diplomatic translator for this language in the staff of the Foreign Commissariat. Even though she is probably not yet familiar with the customs of the Kalistani court, a look at her resume promises that Mielango is an extremely fast learner. After training as a translator for Luthorian and Egelian, she began studying political science in Fajroturo and received her doctorate in this subject at the age of just 25. In the context of the government crisis in Kundrati, there have only been sporadic contacts between Zardugal and Kalistan, but she has been an integral part of each of these discussions. It was therefore obvious who would be chosen as the first Zardic ambassador to the Ananontese Empire. After her appointment, Mielango announced that it was a great honor for her to be able to represent Zardugal to such an influential nation and to the Empress herself and that she was looking forward to taking up her office in Kaliburg soon.

The proposal adopted is a workers' song from the days of the United Workers' Front. It is intended to reflect the socialist and egalitarian character of the republic since the introduction of the new constitution. Only the first stanza will be sung at usual occasions.

At Xsampa's request, officials meticulously searched the military archives to uncover usable design plans. Although Zardic shipyards have produced numerous extremely effective aircraft carriers throughout history, this branch of shipbuilding had long since ceased to be promoted and all carriers owned by the ZDF were either sold or dismantled. This is no surprise, considering how expensive this type of ship is to build and especially to maintain. Nevertheless, it was now considered sensible to invest in the defense capabilities of the liberated proletariat by providing funds for the money-guzzling vessels. Representatives of the new Radjako class are to be used by both the Xsampan and Zardic military and will significantly improve the tactical operational capabilities of the Alliance's air force.
The additional consumption of radioactive material is, according to the Defense Commissariat, absolutely negligible. The consumption of a propulsion reactor is only a fraction of what is consumed in a nuclear power plant and would therefore not further increase Zardic dependence on uranium imports.

KIRLMEKO IN EFFECT, THOUSANDS OF VISITORS RUSH TO BORDER

While the necessary paperwork had been agreed on long ago, a temporary solution was still in place whereby crossing the border from Vanuku to Zardugal and vice versa was only possible with a visa. Now the time has come: the Kirlmeko Agreement guarantees all citizens of either nation freedom of movement in both. Thousands have made use of this new-found right. Whether for a short vacation or to see which supermarkets have the best deals, the barrier is open to everyone. Only occasional checks to detect any contraband that may be being carried mark a noticeable border.

It is a symbolic milestone in the policy of reconciliation between Vanuku and Zardugal. Thanks to the ambitious diplomatic work of both governments, it now seems almost unthinkable that only eleven years ago a war almost broke out between us and our neighbours.

After representatives of the Ahmadi Union reached out to us in order to assure Zardugal's support for their cause, we feel forced to comment on the situation although Zardugal is not directly involved and has no interest in actively getting involved in the matter. The following statement is the result of extensive debates in the entire plenary session of the Supreme Council.

As per a Supreme Council resolution this is a joint announcement of the Director, and the Commissariat of Foreign Affairs declaring that Zardugal will refrain from taking a position for any of the conflicting parties. Even though Kalopia's approach does not correspond to our idea of positive influence, we recognize the motives behind her actions as justified and proportionate.

However, the greatest possible protection of the civilian population must never be lost sight of. Accompanied by a proactive offer of aid from our own resources, we appeal to the government and military command of Kalopia to make their blockade permeable so that the supply of humanitarian goods to the population in Solentia can be ensured again.
