In a press conference in the ancient canopy in Gemun Nature Park, five lawmakers on Wednesday declared the formation of the Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie (Ashita Renmei/明日聯盟 in Kunikata, Cimari-i Culgan/ᠴᡳᠮᠠᡵᡳ ᡳ ᠴᡠᠯᡤᠠᠨ in Bianjie), a new parliamentary group and electoral association that seeks to upend the rigid party politics of the Khanate for the first time in seven decades. The group comprises four recently elected independents and one high-profile defector: former Minister of Mining and Natural Resources Heshen Aisin Gioro, who was dramatically removed from his post after the 5713 election to cross the aisle.

The announcement signals a rare fracture in the governing red bloc and establishes a centrist "green-liberal" current heading into the 5718 general elections. "The politics of yesterday cannot solve the ecological deterioration and social crises of tomorrow," said Nara Muren, an environmentalist lawmaker and founding member of the Alliance. "We are offering a third way—one that respects the ecology of our Steppe and the liberty of our citizens."

The formation of the Alliance is the culmination of a political shift that began in early September. Aisin Gioro’s demotion from the SPP cabinet in 5713 was a significant blow to the growing environmentalist faction within the governing coalition, which was attributed to concerns among the SPP’s amplifying developmentalist wing about Aisin Gioro’s cautious approach in expanding commercial mining.

Though the government—comprising the SPP, the PCP, and Shindoto—retains a comfortable majority in the 229-seat Yuan, the loss of a senior minister to a fledgling independent bloc is a symbolic wound. Mr Heshen joins four independents who have won their seats in upsets since the 5713 election: Ms Muren, legal scholar Lin Zhiyuan, entrepreneur Gūwalgiya Eldembu, and former Gemun Deputy Mayor and university rector Zhang Yumei.

The 5713 election marked the first time in approximately 70 years that independents have been present in the legislative chamber. Their coalescence into a formal parliamentary group with the numbers to potentially act as a "kingmaker" or a significant spoiler in legislative debates has spooked concerns about the SPP's recent developmentalist approach in both economics and ecology.

The emergence of the Tomorrow Alliance adds a new layer of complexity to the opposition benches by carving out a centrist and moderate niche for urban progressives, disgruntled social democrats, alarmed conservatives, and especially environmentalists. Political analysts suggest that while the TAB is small, their "constituency-only" strategy could peel away votes from both the SPP’s technocratic wing and the DPP’s younger urban base. In the same press conference, the five members of the Cimari-i Culgan also presented their "contract to the people", promising a whole-of-society campaign that values "the spirit of the citizens over the mandate of their association” together with some non-governmental organisations.

Tripartite government retains its big majority, in spite of a new alliance entering Yuan
The governing coalition of the SPP, PCP and TPP under the leadership of Semken Tan remain in the office, while losing seats, as the new independents-led electoral alliance officially enters Yuan to become the new center

The ruling three-way coalition, comprising of the Socialist People's Party (SPP), the Progressive Communist Party (PCP) and the True Path Party (TPP) or the Shindoto, has officially secured yet another term in government, following the announcement of the final election results by the State Election Administration. The coalition maintained a comfortable majority in the nation's supreme legislature, the Khanate Yuan, despite notable losses at the constituency level. Now, the tripartite coalition will continue governing under premier Semken Tan (SPP), continuing the SPP domination of the domestic politics.

Despite results remaining mostly stable, with the coalition losing some amount of seats compared to the previous election, 8 to be exact, the most striking development of the 5718 electoral campaign has been the creation and, now official entry of a new independents-led electoral alliance in the Yuan. Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie (TAB), created by the independent MPs, as well the former dismissed Minister of Mining and Natural Resources, Heshen Aisin Gioro (then-SPP), in order to address the environmental issues in Bianjie and beyond, especially following the successful Bianjian bid for the Rossfadda oil rig in the Red Bass Ocean. Furthermore, the alliance of five independent MPs is formally not a party, but rather an electoral association, the first electorally successful one, entering the Yuan, as a part of the many new revisions included in the 5711 amended version of the Electoral Code. Positioning itself as a "true centre" as opposed to the Horizon and Shindoto, traditionally placed in the centre bloc, TAB has drawn support from the urban voters, the youth concerned with the environmental issues and disillusioned in the current two-party system citizens. TAB's entrance to the legislature marks the first non-traditional political formation managing to establish a proper presence in the nation's parliament in decades, with some pundits saying that if proven successful, this moment could very well become the beginning of the end of the current political system in Bianjie.

Meanwhile, as the threepartite coalition held onto power, the socialists, leading force in the government, have experienced the biggest share of losses in the election, managing to lose 7 seats, with one of them being TAB's Aisin Gioro. Similarly, the PCP have also lost 3 seats, while growing its vote share within the proportional representation. For many voters, according to the Institute of Sociology of the University of Gemun (ISUG) opinion poll, the fatigue of the left-wing coalition is slowly kicking in, despite the attempts of some parties to refresh its image nationally. Speaking before the voters and the press, the re-elected premier Semken Tan, acknowledged the electoral setback and growing disappointment in the socialist governments, while pointing out to the continuous economic growth as well as the Dovanian achievements. She pledged to "make sure the government is there for everyone, as well more reforms and responsiveness", as some sources indicate to potential tone shit, and possible coalition partners reshuffle in yet another move to appeal the centre.

On the other side of the aisle, the identity crisis looms even further above the leadership of both the Democratic People's Party (DPP), as well the leaders of both constituent parties of the New Right Alliance (NRA). While the right has made some gains, in the bigger scheme of things, it did change much, if anything, only grew further division within, with more younger and liberal members of the DPP demanding change from the party's president, Kun Zhang. While the older conservatives push to closer cooperation with the NRA, and wishing the keep the current path, without moving to the centre.

Ambagašan Buthasi become the new champions of Bianjie after a stunning comeback

Last year's runner-up team, the Ambagašan Buthasi has shocked the thousands of volleyball sport enthusiasts in Bianjie, after it won the nation's National Volleyball League (NVL) on Thursday night, performing a stunning comeback in one of the most dramatic finals in the competition's recent history.

Playing in front of 5,200 fans in Caiboo, the Fishermen came from behind to overcome the current Khan's Volleyball Cup (KVC) champions, Namušun Buka, or the Rams, in a 3-2 match (19-25, 22-25, 28-26, 25-22, 15-11), coming from behind in hard first two sets going to the southern coast opponents, achieving the historic victory in the league for the first time in 24 years.

The Fishermen, coming extremely close to the title in the last year's season, have overturned a difficult start this year after a series of disappointing defeats to the league's both higher and lower rank teams. However, as the season went by, Buthasi went from a series of losses to the series of undefeated victories, quickly climbing up top, trailing behind the Dorgi Gemun by 4 points, thus entering playoffs, where the Fishermen defeated the 7th and 3rd teams, Caiboo's Giants and Guihecen's KSJ, while the reigning champions, Dorgi Gemun, have lost to the Namušun Buka in a big upset during the semfinals.

The first two sets of the finals between Buthasi and Buka began with a momentum on the southerners' side, as the Rams kept aggressive and well-organised domination over their opponents, however, following two disappointing set losses, something has shifted, as the Fishermen 'locked in', and stopped doing mistakes or falling for traps set by the Buka. The reorganised Buthasi team fought their opponents into the tiebreak after winning the next two seats. And with the 15-11 score on the tiebreak, and the final whistle signalling the end of the hardfought game, Buthasi have been proclaimed the nation's champions for the first time in 24 years.

Green liberals on the rise, as the SPP faces disappointing results across the nation

GEMUN: The nationwide local elections held across the cities, counties and provinces of Bianjie are called "midterms" for a reason, as the government's five-year term is subjugated to a test right in the middle of the governance, and many governments have been a subject to the losses or gains, sweet or sour, shocking or expected. For many, local elections have became a platform to kickstart or softlauch their new political projects, candidacies and more. This local elections cycle continued that tradition, after serving as a test drive for the rising in popularity Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie, consisiting of the former members of both the pan-socialist and pan-democratic parties across the aisle.

Coming into this election, TAB was serious about winning in a number of urban places, especially focusing on the biggest of them all, the Gemun metropolitan area, including the Gemun proper. As the Tomorrow Alliance is not formally a political party, the bet was to join forces with the existing political parties, to run as a joint list. After days of informal behind-the-stage negotitations, leaders of the Horizon and Tomorrow Alliance have announced an electoral coalition that would be running in a bunch of places nationwide, including Gemun, with the founding member of TAB, and former Gemun deputy mayor, Yumei Zhang, being chosen to lead the list, and thus being the TAB-HOR candidate for mayor's office. "We need to turn the page, and lead a movement that will not be purple or blue, but will be colourless, because this is a city of everyone", said Zhang during the presentation of the list.

SPP, who is a comfortable position nationally, with their impressive majority in the Khanate Yuan, leading the third Tan government, was not so determined to succeed locally, as the party representatives in the administrative units are facing the growing opposition due to corruption charges, conflicts with the traditional allies on the left, and general fatigue from the purple domination of politics. TAB rising in the polling, stealing the youth and disappointed SPP voters, according to the ISUG polling, did not help either. Meiyun Lin, long-time ally of the premier Tan, and chief of staff of her office, has been the mastermind behind the campaigning, and for many observers, the outcome of the local elections would determine her future within Tan surroundings, as the head of the government would be looking for a scapegoat.

And so, the stage is set, and the central day of the local elections has passed, with polls closing, and first results released showing a disappointing finish for SPP nationwide. The ruling party would be keeping the majority of its representatives nationwide, but would be either losing, or coming close to lose many vital locations, including the one that socialists have been worrying the most about, Gemun. According to the preliminary results, SPP was on track to come second in the nation's capital city, while the joint Tomorrow Alliance and Horizon list was projected to become the largest party in Gemun's Metropolitan Assembly (GMA). After most ballots have been counted, the projection was confirmed, as TAB-HOR list came on top with 31% of the vote, while SPP trailed behind, with just 28%, compared to 42% just five years ago. Incumbent mayor, Alin Kongkeri (SPP) have conceeded, commenting on the disappointing loss: "We accept this result as a signal from the people, that we must change. And make this my promise, we will change."

Meanwhile, mayor-elect Zhang (TAB+HOR), celebrating the victory alongside the list's campaign chair, and de facto TAB leader, Heshen Aisin Gioro, Horizon leader, Kenje Migiya, and other members of the list, have thanked the voters for the trust in the "young and green" list. "Today, the real change begins, as we begin a new chapter in our city's history, and not choosing sides, but going forward", she said. According the Aisin Gioro, the list in the GMA "is open to cooperate with everyone".

Nationwide, members affiliated with TAB had a succesful night, as green liberals were elected across the nation, upsetting the members on both the right and the left, paving the way for the stronger 5723 campaign, with the new question rising, whether the TAB would finally transform into a proper party, or rather side with Horizon, and finally become an official political force, that is able to compete politically with both the SPP and DPP. Aisin Gioro have avoided the question, only saying that the group is "discussing its political future extensively".

Tan dismisses Kōtei's chief of staff and a close ally after the disappointing local election result

For more than a month now, the results of the midterm local elections have been stinging the ruling coalition and premier Semken Tan especially, as the 68-year-old head of the government has been looking towards the 5723 general election for yet another re-election and a historic fourth term in the office. But now that local elections have shown a disappointing result for the socialists, the future is not so certain anymore for Tan and the SPP. Expectedly, for Tan there was a need to put the blame on someone for this loss, and that someone became the premier's close ally and the chief of staff of the Premier's Office, or the Kōtei, Meiyun Lin.

According to the official statement released earlier today on the Premier's Office website, Lin was "relieved of her duties, effective immediately", bringing the abrupt end to her eleven-year tenure as the right-hand man of the premier. And while the statement publicly thanked Lin for her "dedicated service to the government and the nation", it's not a secret that the decision was a long time coming, with many within the ruling party pushing Tan to fire Lin, or possibly face an internal revolt over the upsetting results in the local elections this October, arguing that as the campaign chair, Lin was the main responsible for the loss, especially because of her strategy, that proved to be a failure.

For preimer Tan, this dismissal is a first step to refresh her surroundings for the second half of the 5718–23 parliamentary term, as the current head of the government is preparing to run for a de facto fourth term in the office, something that could be unprecedented for the modern political history of Bianjie, and for Tan, Lin became a burden in reaching that goal. According to the some officials with the access to the premier, Bianjie's head of the government has been trying to isolate Lin from the State Council affairs, as well ignoring her during meetings, which turned into a semi-public conflict between the two. And thus, anonymous interlocuters within the party say that Lin will not be stepping aside so easily, arguing that now-former head of the Premier's Office could very well be preparing a major revolt within the party, aimed at challenging Tan, and possibly even pushing for her resignation, with Lin or other allies of Lin. 

Meanwhile, no succesor has been named, however, it is widely expected to be a non-partisan technocrat with no political ambitions, but with close connections to more regional socialist structures, that can potentially stand in an open contention with Tan or any of her future handpicked successors. For premier and her closest circle, the new chief of staff will have over the comprehensive reorganisation of the office, as well as the review of the political strategy, and change of focus and messaging.

Tomorrow Alliance to formalise as a political party ahead of 5723 general election

Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie (TAB), an informal political alliance, that made history by entering the Khanate Yuan as a group of independents, has announced its intention to transition into an official political party. The move, aimed at formalising the "green-liberal" movement before the 5723 general election, seeks to challenge the long-standing dominance of the tripartite government through a model of radical internal democracy, according to the now-new party members and officials.

In what became a rare display of unified leadership, all five members of the TAB's parliamentary group appeared together on Tuesday at the press office of the Gemun Metropolitan University (GMU). The press conference, held a day ealier, served as a launchpad for a public membership drive that will culminate in a national founding congress scheduled for the October, later this year. Zhang Yumei, the TAB's parliamentary leader, told during the briefing that the transition was a response to a growing public appetite for a "third way" that moves beyond the rigid partisan divide. "Our success in the 5718 general and 5720 local election cycles have proved that voters are looking for politics which are rooted in communities rather than the partisan machines", he said. "By formalising our movement, we are not abandoning our independent spirit, but giving it a permanent home where every citizen can have a hand in the design".

This coalition of interests is what the alliance hopes to leverage into a national platform, says Heshen Aisin Gioro. Unlike the established parties, the new party will not have a pre-determined constitution or name. Instead, all current and future members accepted during the current application window will be invited to the October convention to debate and vote on the party's charter and branding. "We are inviting the public into the engine room of politics", said Gūwalgiya Eldembu, who has served as the TAB's economic co-coordinator. "The goal is to build a platform dictated by intensive internal democracy, one that can provide a credible alternative to the current administration's commitment to extractive growth". Aisin Gioro, whose move from the State Council to the independent benches remains a significant point of friction for the governing Socialist People's Party (SPP), emphasised that the new party would focus on systemic renewal. He noted that the alliance remains committed to progressive politics and a democratic reform of the nation's institutions, which the Alliance argues have become less responsive to the electorate over time.

While the tripartite coalition under the premier Semken Tan maintains a stable majority, the emergence of a formal party from the Tomorrow Alliance represents a new growing obstacle for the socialists for the 5723 cycle. By moving from a loose electoral association of independents to a disciplined, member-led organisation, the Alliance is betting that a "true centre" built on ecological and social-liberal principles can sustain the momentum of its 5718 debut, especially as a succesful result of the Alliance alongside Horizon, brings up new potential coalitions or electoral alliances of the expanded centrist bloc for the next general election, posing an even greater danger for both the left and the right, as the recent ISUG polling shows that a future TAB party would be receiving voters from both the SPP and the DPP, sitting in the 5th place, at around 6-7%, edging the New Right, while the alliance of TAB and Horizon could potentially even become the third force in Bianjie with 10-12%, which in the best case scenario for the coalition, may deprave the tripartite coalition of the majority, making the joint force a kingmaker in the post-election government formation.

Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie gains political ground as three more MPs defect from the major political parties
The Alliance, which has already reached nearly 20000 members, faces a stinging rebuke from the governing coalition as more Yuan members choose to join the group ahead of the October convention

The transition of the Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie (TAB) from a loose parliamentary group to a structured political party has received a significant boost yesterday after the three high-profile lawmakers have defected to the Alliance from across the aisle. The move, which sees MPs from both the liberal conservative Democratic People's Party (DPP) and the social liberal Horizons join the forming political force, represents a big shift of the Khanate Yuan's composition since the last general election.

In a carefully choreographed press conference on the steps of the Khanate Yuan building on Wednesday, the Alliance's five founding members welcomed the newcomers with bouquets of yellow, blue, and purple wildflowers, as a symbolic nod to the "yellow" Horizons, "purple" governing left-wing coalition, and the broader "blue" right-wing opposition bloc they intend to bridge. The event, held a day earlier, on 2 September, comes as internal records show the alliance’s membership has surged to 19,875 individuals ahead of its founding convention in a little more than a month, on 7 October.

The defectors include Taksi Niohuru, a legal professional representing a constituency in Gunali, and Mai Asahina, a former investment banker for a northern constituency in Niyalma, both of whom have left the teal-branded DPP. They are joined by Sora Irifune, a plumber-turned-teacher from Khani and the youngest member of the Yuan, who was previously elected on the Horizons party list. In a joint statement, the three MPs argue that the current binary system between the left-wing government and the traditional opposition has resulted in a "paralytic" state of polarisation. They cited a shared desire to help build a movement capable of harmonising regulations and decentralising power to bring the government closer to the people. A central pillar of their new platform is the "ecologisation" of Bianjie's social market economy, aimed at integrating sustainability targets directly into the nation's fiscal and trade frameworks.

At the same time, not everyone was happy about the announcement, as the move has also drawn a somewhat sharp response from the ruling tripartite coalition. Li Meifang, the current Minister of Culture, Tourism and Heritage and a deputy chairwoman of the buddhist Shindoto, also known as the True Path Party (TPP), has dismissed the defections as a "distraction from the work of stable governance". The opposition, especially DPP and Horizon, both of which have suffered from the defections, refused to comment on the move, with members inside of both parties blaming the leadership for not being able to prevent the defections, with democrats possibly preparing for a future revolt against the incumbent party president, while Horizon is softening before the idea of allying with future TAB party.

Nevertheless, the arrival of three new MPs brings the TAB's total representation in the 229-seat Khanate Yuan to eight members, further diversifying the group's ideological reach. And while this remains a small fraction of the total legislature, the symbolic weight of sitting MPs from the major parliamentary parties crossing the floor to join a non-traditional association is significant. Procedurally, the three new members will now be integrated into the Alliance's foundational planning committees. They will join the original five members and the registered supporters at the national party founding convention scheduled for October. The convention is expected to formalise the new party's name, ratify its first internal constitution, and establish the leadership hierarchy for the 5723 general election cycle.

Green Alliance of Bianjie sets sights on 'new social contract' following founding party congress

NUKTE: The Tomorrow Alliance for Bianjie (TAB) has formalised its transition into a permanent political force, rebranding as the Green Alliance of Bianjie (GAB) following a week-long convention that saw more than 12,000 members descend on the Nimanggi provincial capital. The congress, which concluded on 14 October, moved beyond the movement's origins as a loose parliamentary group to establish a complex, member-led hierarchy and a suite of radical policy mandates.

The new name, Green Alliance of Bianjie, was adopted with 67.51% of the membership vote, beating out several more radical or centrist alternatives, like Ecological Alternative or the New Alternative, as well as an option of keeping the current name, which received a support of the small groups of membership during the congess. Delegates also ratified a ten-point "Nukte Declaration" of principles with almost unanimous approval, tethering environmental survival to social equity and non-violent direct action.

However, the most significant strategic development came in the form of a General Alliance Resolution, shortened to GAR, calling for the Alliance to approach parties across the political spectrum. The goal, according to the authors of the resolution, is to form a "proper electoral pact towards a new social contract", a move designed to break the evergrowing polarisation between the governing "purple" socialists and the "cyan" democrats. "We are not here to be a perennial protest party", said Gūwalgiya Eldembu, the newly-elected male co-spokesperson and sitting MP, in an exclusive commentary for the Daily Express. "The 'ecologisation' of our economy requires a consensus that our current binary politics cannot produce. This pact is about finding a common denominator for systemic renewal, even with those we disagree with on other fronts."

The party's new collective leadership reflects its diverse base. Irifune Sora, a trans woman and the youngest member of the Khanate Yuan, who formerly defected from the Horizon to the Alliance, was elected as a female co-spokesperson of the new party. Speaking on the final session day, Irifune appeared visibly tired but resolute. "I spent most of my life trying to be invisible just to stay safe", she said, referencing her background as a plumber and vocational teacher. "Standing on that stage, seeing tens of thousands people who are simply tired of being ignored, it is overwhelming. But we have moved past the novelty of being independents. We are now an organisation that has to deliver on the basic promise of making life livable for ordinary people again." Under Irifune's influence, the party congress passed a resolution demanding that the government of premier Semken Tan increase support for the LGBTQ+ community. The resolution specifically targets higher rates of mental discomfort and suicide within the community through state-funded programs. "This is not an identity issue; it's a public health crisis that the current administration has treated as an afterthought", Irifune added.

The administrative weight of the party will be carried by Heshen Aisin Gioro, the former SPP minister who now will be serving as the Alliance's party secretary. Heshen's involvement remains a primary target for the government's "attack dogs," including Minister of Culture and Tourism Li Meifang (TPP). "The SPP will call us radicals, but we are the ones proposing an independent Commission of Ombudsmen to clean up their graft scandals", Heshen said. "We are demanding a moratorium on mining and a public inquiry into the hydropower projects in the Golminunla river basin, because the current industrial policy is a fire sale of our national heritage. If that makes us 'insurgents' in the eyes of the Tan government, then so be it."

The convention was characterised by internal debates between four ideological factions: the mori-no-kodō (Forest Beat) deep ecologist fundis, the komorebi-no-michi (Komorebi Way) realists, the soyokaze-no-uta (Breeze Song) market centrists, and the daichi-no-hibiki (Earth Echo) ecosocialists. Observers noted that while the realists secured many of their market-reform goals, the "fundi" wing successfully pushed through resolutions on non-violent direct action and transport reform, including a demand for free local bus travel for students and the elderly. "It is a bit of a circus, but a functional one so far", said Hiroshi Kaito, an observer from the University of Gemun who attended the congress. "You have people here who have never been in a political room before, sitting next to former ministers. The real test will be the GAExC (Executive Committee) elections and whether this 'sortition' lottery for leadership seats actually works or if it just creates a bottleneck."

Among the rank-and-file, the mood was more focused on immediate local concerns. "I came from the south because the bus fares in Khani are eating my wages", said Taliun, a delegate and factory worker. "I don't care about our relationship with the outside world as much as I care about the fact that this is the first party that seems to understand that my commute and the smog in my lungs are the same problem."

The Green Alliance now faces the logistical challenge of its first by-election in Weshihunduka, where the party's candidate Inoue-Zhang Hailanzhu is currently in the lead against the socialist Alin Moyolo, 47% to 41%, respectively. With another national convention set for January next year to finalise the party's other documents, the GAB has effectively declared the 5723 election cycle an open race. "We have the members, and we have the blueprint", said Gūwalgiya Eldembu. BNR express train crashes on a way to Dooran, killing three, injuring 64

An express train of the Bianjie National Railways (BNR) has collided with a truck driving across the railway track, in what became nation's first major incident like this in more than a decade, killing three people, and injuring additional 64. The crash derailed the train's front carriage and pinned the truck to a wall as it burst into flames, spewing black smoke into the air and its cargo of citrus fruit onto the tracks. The force of the impact shattered the train's front window and bent an overhead power line.

The fifty-six year old driver of the truck was believed to have been killed, alongside the two train passengers, who died due the the critical injuries from the incident, according to BHK, the nation's public broadcaster, which cited provincial first responders. Others injured had non-life-threatening injuries, BHK reported. Witnesses described an intense fire and panic among the 300 passengers on board as they sped through the crossing near Umputun station, located to the southeast of Dooran. "Emergency services have received 66 reports of passengers being injured, which we operatively dealt with, helping all victims of the incident. Of those sixty-four, five passangers had sustained serious injuries. And of those, who were severely injured, the city hospital has confirmed the death of two people, unfortunately, to which we express our deepest condolences", Dooran's fire emergency chief official said at the scene.

BNR later came out with a public statement, expressing condolences to those whose lives were lost due to the incident, and pledging support to the injured passengers, as well funding of the damaged properties across the crash scene. Company's spokesperson, Chuoqi Bayarki, stated that the national rail operator has been in touch with the affected passengers, offering free tickets to Dooran. "Our mission is to help our customers to get in their required places in time, even as incidents like these happen", Bayarki said. "On the other hand, the Bianjie National Railways taking responsibility for the accident, and will do everything possible, as well cooperate with the provincial and national authorities during the investigation, which we hope will be launched, as well our internal one, and find those responsible for this". Indeed, BNR has announced the beginning of the internal investigation, while the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Dorgon Dalok, has announced the formation of an independent commission, which will be investigating the issue. "There must be truth to this, and our society is ought to know it, however harsh or disappointing it might for anyone in the government", said Dalok.

According to the national investigative media, the national rail operator has been a part of the growing corruption scheming perpetuated by the officials within the State Counci, local governments and others people affiliated with the ruling Socialist People's Party (SPP). "BNR has been neglected by the MIT as well as the State Council in general, causing major issues in the quality of service, employement, and other thing vital to the stable operation of affairs of the Bianjie's railways", said the chief investigator of the Kakidaikyō online media, Yelu Muca.

Premier Tan resigns following the Umputun train crash investigation found major corruption within government

Pressure has been mounting on the Bianjie's chief of government for months after a train driving to Dooran has crashed into a truck in Umputun, killing three people, and injuring tens other passangers. For Tan, it could've yet been another bad event that the socialists' leader could've easily dismissed, if not for two investigation perpetuated by the indepedent commissions on request of both the nation's rail operator, the Bianjie National Railways (BNR) and the Tan-controlled Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), led, however, by a non-partisan minister, simply nominated by the SPP.

Both investigations have found that the natonal railway system, as well as its operator have long been used for major corruption schemes in the interest of government and ruling party officials, both locally and nationally. According to the investigation, Tan personally was not a part of the corruption, however, she had enough knowledge about the money laundering by her party colleagues, and yet did not prevent it from happening, simply closing eyes on this, even when brought up by the fellow party members. "The government of Bianjie have been a major reason of the railway system failing in quality, growing negligence, and as a result, incidents like this", concluded the investigation report of the MIT led by journalist Yelu Muca.

Following the release of the report, premier has dismissed the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Dorgon Dalok, the Secretary-General of the State Council, Jiahao Kang, as well as dismissing party officials, like the SPP deputy leader Tabai Sordo, and other provincial socialists, who have been a part of the schemes, according to the investigations. And yet, the pressure grew, as the opposition became more aggressive and active, pushing for the biggest resignation of them all, the resignation of premier herself. And if that was not enough for Tan to resign, her own allies became turning away, as both junior coalition partners, the Progressive Communist Party (PCP) and the True Path Party (TPP), have announced that they would leave the governing coalition if Tan will not resign, which would make Tan lose her majority in the Yuan. Moreover, even within the ruling party, a growing revolt, led by former closest ally, and former chief of staff of the Premier's Office, Meiyun Lin. Frustrated by the dismissal of Lin, and now the train crash, as well as the major corruption within the party, has pushed the group of eleven MPs to push for Tan's resignation from within, mounting even more pressure on the seventy-year-old premier's shoulders.

And so, on the morning of 19 June, the unexpected announcement has arrived, as the government chief convened a press conference, where she would announce her immediate resignation, earlier delivered to the Khan Nilhuma. "Responsibility is required, and I will take it personally, to not drag the hard-working civil servants, as well as my own party, into a horrible and disrespectful position", Tan said. "My mission as premier throughout those fourteen years has been making the government functioning, responsive to the people's needs, and most importantly, honest. And today, I am being honest, when I say that we have sadly failed. We failed to prevent our people from an incident like this, we failed to prevent corruption, we failed to prevent negligence. And the biggest responsibility lies in my hands, and I understand it, which is exactly why I am tendering my resignation today, and hope the people of this country will forgive this government for its failures and mistakes it made throughout my time in charge". Premier Tan has said that she will also be resigning from politics altogether, in hope that the people will not look back at her when it comes time for the new government, and assume its actions as a blank sheet, with the same concerning the party she led for the same fourteen years now.

With less than a year left to the new general election, ruling SPP party is expected to elect a new leader in the upcoming days who will serve as the party chief coming into the highly complicated election cycle for the socialists, as frustration is growing, with the new Green Alliance for Bianjie (GAB) rising to prominence on a wave of anti-socialist and anti-corruption sentiment across the country, and youth especially. Sources within the party indicate that the current finance minister Tabai Manišay will be unanimously elected as the leader, replacing Tan as premier, leading the SPP into the election. And despite the initial request of Tan resignation from the government, the junior coalition partner, the Progressive Communist Party (PCP) has announced it will not be a part of the new State Council, however, it will support the new premier; at the same time, Shindoto (TPP) will remain in the coalition.
