Phase 2 of the 3 sisters plan finally completed, the NACTC announces the launch of an investigation againt the NCTRAMW as the Nadiyan Supreme Court suspends Svitlana Danylivna: money straight into their pockets
Breaking news.
Zarvosopol, Kozaki. The news about the completion of the Artic Sister as part of phase 2 of the 3 sisters plan has came with both a sweet and sour taste for the incumbent administration as immediately after the new rail circuit was inaugurated the Nadiyan Anti Corruption and Transparency Commission announced in a statement that it will start an urgent investigation against the incumbent secretary for the Nadiyan Commission for Transportation, and Rail-Air-Maritime Ways due to the suspiciously long time it took to finish the artic sister when compared with it's much bigger plain sister who took less than 6 years to complete compared to the 10 years of phase 2. The NACC suspects that the deal made between local construction companies and the transport commission may have been fictional ones as witnesses reported completely empty work sites with Lesnov's Supreme Soviet even trying to seize back NEC-controlled lands due to a lack of activity on them but the NGA managed to successfully make Lesnov back away in exchange of an increased percentage in funds allocated to the republic. This chain of weird and suspicious events eventually led to the shit show unraveling today as the first users of the artic sister reported very rough train rides with them usually ending extremely late to their final destinations. Shortly after the official investigation was started, the Nadiyan Supreme Court, the joint supreme judicial authority between the member states of the NEC, held an emergency scession in which they then suspended the incumbent secretary general Svitlana Danylivna from her functions as she was found to be involved in the corruption scandal. Not only that but whistleblowers have also declared that she kept all of her dealings behind the back of the MUP and Servants member of her administration as she only made deals with members of the lovers party which meant that members of the NGA were also involved in the ordeal. After the revelations, the NGA voted to suspend the MPs involved in the scandal while the MUP and Servants announced the expulsion of the Lovers from the Pastel Coalition while the assembly prepares to censor the incumbent administration according the NEC founding charter and if no government is formed after the expulsion of the administration, a snap election will be called in order to determine a new leadership.

Breaking News: The NGA ousts the Danylivna administration from power, snap elections to be held in 3 months as government talks between the Pastels and SRs collapse: A bad day for the NEC
Zarvosopol, Kozaki. The NGA today met in a hurry as the official conclusions of the NACTC's investigation were finally published and released to the public, the proofs of both the Lovers and SG Danylivna involvement were now undeniable and as such, the assembly examined the MUP's censor mention against their own government and unsurprisingly the motion passed with an unanimous 3/4 majority with MPs of the Love party even breaking rank from their party's leadership to oust Svitlana Danylivna. After the ousting of the Danylivna administration, the Pastel Coalition then tried negotiating a deal with the SRs for them to form a government with them but the social revolutionaries refused instead opting to trigger snap elections. The NETFC then announced that new legislative elections will be held in at least 3 months to give parties enough time to prepare their candidates and put forward a nominee for the position of SG. Many within Nadiya already expect that the SRs and communists will dominate the upcoming NGA as polls already give them the big favorite for the SG position while the lovers are expected to lose more than 80% of their seats and become the 10th biggest party in the NGA just in front of the AWPN.

The Strawberry Alliance pulls secured historic results in the snap elections as the Pastels fall in the opposition, the Nova Beagukiyans enter government: a red Nadiya?
Breaking news. Zarvosopol, Kozaki. Today the citizens of the NEC headed for their first ever anticipated snap election following the censoring of the Danylivna administration and the collapse of government talks between the SRs and the remaining members of the Pastel coalition, the MUP and Servants. In what many described as a historic electoral season concluded with one of the NEC's most shocking electoral upsets and it was the fact that the Strawberry alliance composed of the Social Revolutionaries, the Communists, the Indegnous, and the Nova Beagukiyans managed to secure a safe strong majority of 500 seats which allows them to effectively control all of the NEC's commissions and the NGA's special parliamentary offices. Shortly after the landslide that were the results today, the 4 members of the coalition held a meeting in which they agreed to elect the current leader of the SRs Rostlyvan Dovhan the Secretary General of the NEC for the next 5 years and hopefully for the rest of the years left until Nadiyan unification is achieved. Furthermore the alliance ironed out a comprehensive agenda focused on expanding the social safety net and encourage the construction of at least 300 thousand housing units to handle the housing crisis hitting the NEC and its member republics. The markets on the other hand reacted negatively to the news since the strawberries plans would mean even more government presence in an already state capitalist market but only time will tell if their fears are just baseless ones.

Death of Matriarch Illivna, weeklong mourning period decreeted across the NEC as the Matriarchate's leaders convene for the election of a new Matriarch: a game of chess has began
Petrograd, Kozaki. It was a devastating days for the followers of the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya as today the instition announced the death of Matriarch Illivna in her sleep. Matriarcha Illivna also commonly known as Mama Illivna led the church ever since its foundation in the late 56th century when a group of nuns rebelled against the Rodashyam controlled Aurorian Church of Trigunia, the ideals of the church still the same the Aurorian one but with a radically different division between male and women as now instead of both genders being equal, now women dominate every important position of the church's clerical system with priests and monks reduced to only low levels titles while nuns took the reign of power in accordance with the Matriarchist wave that swept through the isles shortly after the ORD. With the death of Matriarch Illivna, the NEC announced an isles wide 1 week mourning period with all flags having to fly at half mat, the church on the other hand has started to prepare for the election of both a new Matriarch and a new supreme clerical council to lead the church in what many call a grand game of chess in an era where the isles fastest growing church will have to adapt to new realities and teachings.

Mother Katharina elected Matriarch of the MCN as the 5636 conclave concludes with the victory of the traditionalists, the head of the ACTN to meet with the new Matriarch: finally a meeting between the two clergies?
Zarvosopol, Kozaki. The members of the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya have finally concluded the 5636 conclave after months of them being locked up in Saint Larissa church in Zarvosopol. This was the first time that members of the church, or at least its leadership, got to hold a conclave because Matriarch Illivna led the church ever since its founding 45 years ago and she had herself appointed the members of the Supreme Clerical Council but as NEC religious transparency laws, the entire election process was reported live by journalists as what was supposedly a 48 hours event turned into months due to the church's factions actively campaigning for control over the SCC that would decide the new Matriarch. According to mother cardinals, the main of influence regarded the church's stance on male priesthood and their positions in the church's hierarchy, the reformist members led by Sister Svetlana argued that because of the institution's increasing influence on the isles through the number of it members increasing ever since its foundation with most of them joining the church after breaking away from the Augustan Church of Trigunia & Nadiya, meaning that if the trend continues more men will eventually seek to be even more involved with the church and hopefully become something more than just a simple priest or monk. The traditionalists, led by mother Petrova, on the other hand argued that the principles and guardrails set by matriarch Illivna must be respected and that they are inviolable as not to trigger yet another schism such as thr initial one that happened shortly after the church's foundation and divorce from the ACTN. Ultimately, the conclave saw the victory of the moderate traditionalists who with the help of the hardline traditionalists and independents managed to elect Matriarch Katharina as the new head of the MCN. Shortly after the election of Katharina as the new Matriarch, the head of the ACTN sent her his "warmest and most sincere congratulations" and invited her to meet in the city of Kaiserberg to discuss the future relations between the MCN and ACTN in the hopes of easing tensions between the two opposing clergies.
And here is the official portrait of the new Matriarch

NGA passes resolution aborting all reconstruction attempts of the Bashnya, SG Dovhan calls it a "necessary step" as he announces the NEC full support for Davostag and Luthori in the war: truly a social revolutionarist
Petrograd, Kozaki. Today the Nadiyan General Assembly passed and approved of the "Bashnya Reconsideraton Act" proposed by members of the All-Nadiyan Communist Unification Party that finally addressed the question of the Bashnya, this historic symbol of power in the former nation of Trigunia that held many royal families, presidencies, and councils, but it was nonetheless obliterated to pieces during offensive orchestrated against Rodashyam on the 17th of April 5565 during operation Fallen Tower that saw the joint ORD navy make it's way to Rodashyam and bomb relentlessly the Bashnya shortly followed by airstrikes from the Horde's airforce. After the annihilation of the Bashnya into ashes, the Tsardom then announced an indefinite ceasefire with the members of the NEC and the establishment of DMZs, this then officially ended the First Trigunian War and started the Trigunian Anarchy that will last 70 years until its end during the Second Trigunian War. Yet after of all that, the question of the Bashnya was left unanswered as some asked for it to be completely demolished and replaced with a symbol of Nadiyan unity or it should be rebuilt and turned into a museum of the atrocities that used to happen during the Trigunian era, however the issue was finally addressed today in a bill that permanently and official aborts all current or future attempts at the restoring the Bashnya instead it will be replaced by either a park or a monument commemorating the Nadiyan people just like how the Lady of Freedom in Zarvosopol represents the Kozaki people's resilience even under tyranny. The law passed with a 883/900 majority with the only party voting no being the Artists and Writers Pact for Nadiya that justified their opposition by citing the building's cultural and historic importance for the people of Rodashyam. SG Dovhan, the first male SG and first not tied to any form of deal with the Pastels, hailed the decision as a "necessary step toward the Unification the isles and reshaping of our future as a unified Nadiyan people", shortly after that he held a separate press conference in which he declared the NEC's full support for the war effort against the Kundrati Legion alongside decreeting an increase in oil and gas exports toward Davostag in a "very discounted and affordable price for the entire duration of the war and onward if Davostag needs it in a potential reconstruction effort"

N-Pop girlgroup ITS skyrockets in popularity as the NEC focuses on building soft power, countless music bands now sponsored by the NCCAM: selling them a dream?
Spask, Lesnov. Nobody in the Nadiyan cultural scene expected the recent drastic shift from the NEC as SG Dovhan has announced that the Nadiyan Commission for Culture, Arts, and Music will now fund all aspiring musical girl or boy bands with all previous requirements being dropped in favor of a more streamlined process that's done through the newly created digital platform for the Commission. The decision came after a girl group known as ITS composed mainly of girls of Nova Beagukiyan origin has broken through the musical scene in the isles by organizing a concert in the Polina Pavlina stadium that garnered more than 80 thousand fans and filled the stadium so much that some guests had to watch the concert through the Stadium's giant front screens due to overcrowding. The band used to be famous in Radin and more specifically its northern parts where most if not all of the Nova Beagukiyans reside yet their breakthrough came when a clip from their latest single became viral on Nadiyan social media and generated a viral dance trend across the isles. Sshortly after that, a company known as the Nadiyan International Corporation for the Distribution and Commercialization of Music and Films, or Nadtainement for short, made the girl group join their company through a contract that would, according to both the manager of the band and the regional director of the company for Radin, "make them the most famous girl band on the entire globe, even in Beaguk!". Seeing the whole trail of events happen before their very eyes, the Dovhan administration after being urged by the NGA to promote cultural liberalization more, has announced that the NCCAM will see its budget tripled and the NEC now focus on building for the organization and the idea of Nadiya a strong softpower through the use of music groups, cartoons, and something called "Manhua" a genre of comics invented by a writer in Rodashyam that is on a mobile scrollable format that is also called webtoon. However, with the isles deciding to put all hands on deck for the sake of a culturally famous and influential Nadiya, what will happen to the other sectors of the organization?

Meet "Nadiya-chan" the new mascot of the NEC to all major events and the new symbol of the isles quest for international relevance amidst a cultural and artistic renaissance: catering for foreigners now?
Zarvosopol, Kozaki. It seems that the SCCAM wasn't joking when they said the main focus for the NEC at the moment was building quickly and efficiently levels of soft power never seen in the history of the isles as today they unveiled the brand new mascot of the NEC named Nadiyan-chan an anime woman with white hair and red eyes while wearing the uniform of the SG and has the emblem of the NEC as a hairpin. Reactions concerning the reveal were mixed as some were confused by why the NEC made an anime woman their mascot but others welcomed the design as it would attract attention to the isles by humanizing the 5 republics into one human being, in addition the Commission announced that another design consisting of a big mama brown bear wearing a chic red dress and a pearl necklace will also be used to represent the isles. Ever since the SCCAM started all and any artistic or cultural project for the past 3 months, the isles have experienced a massive cultural boom with an artistic renaissance that consists in the rise of a new artstyke known Nationhumans and Furnations which consisting of turning the nations of Terra into human designs and anthropomorphic animal designs with Nadiyan-chan and Mama Nadiya being the most famous and principal muses for the movement. Furthermore, hundreds of animation and cartoon studios alongside musical bands have been founded in the last 3 months with all of them already preparing major projects and fighting for relevancy in the new and bustling Nadiyan cultural scene. Only time will tell us it the NEC gambit is fruitful or just another waste of billions to achieve an impossible dream.

SG Dovhan "A nation who calls themselves a hegemon was never one to begin with" as he denounced Kalistan's "egomaniac behavior" while suggesting the revival of the Kerisian Union: a dance of the chimera and lion?
Zarvosopol, Kozaki. Seeing the recent flare of tensions happening between Egelion and Kalistan, the NEC finds itself in the crossroad of it because it has official relations with both parties and hosted hosts an Egelion base on its shores while Kalistan's long standing ally in Keris, Dolgava a mere 300 kilometers from the nearest Nadiyan shore, still maintains a hostile behavior with the NEC and its republics ever since the collapse of the old Trigunian regime. Given the delicate situation, many looked up to secretary general Rostlyvan Dovhan for a path forward, and he didn't let his colleagues wait for too long because he recently held a press conference alongside secretary Larissa Novikova of the Nadiyan Commission for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Kerisian Harmony in which he firstly denounced Kalistan by describing its recent moves as "one of an egomaniacal empire hooked up on enough delirium even crack addicts would call shameless" and continued on by saying, "Any nation who calls itself a hegemon over an area or even Terra was never and will never be a hegemon no matter its government, continent, economy, and army as the saying goes 'you aren't a gentleman or a lady if you call yourself one. Personally, I think it's a shame Kalistan is insecure about its position in the Mad Dog ocean enough to lash out against a nation who didn't do anything other than speak up their mind." He then followed it shortly with, "As such, Nadiya and the NEC are ready to deepen its relations with its Kerisian neighbors, namely Egelion and New Endralon Kuzaki & Kizenia (NEK) who we consider as unavoidable parts of the continent. So in order to deepen such ties, I am ready to work with them on a revival of the long dead Kerisian Union, I know many will notice that this plan was first brought up by the Kerisian Unification Horde back during the warlord era but I think that they weren't wrong at all when they called for Kerisian unity. Finally, I would like to conclude this conference by outlining the NEC longstanding commitment to promoting Kerisian unity, of course both Egelion and NEK can always decline the offer but hopefully we will be able to move forward together."

NGA announces the official end of phase 2 of the Unification Protocol as NCPIUP judges the 5 republics "politically and economically symbiotic" while the NEC relaxes its immigration laws even more: a leap toward unity and prosperity
Petrograd, Kozaki. A historic decision was made in the NEC today as the Nadiyan General Assembly has finally called an end to the second phase of the Unification Protocol following a report from the Nadiyan Commission for the Proper Implementation of the Unification Protocol, or NCPIUP for short, as their independent and apolitical agents through their secretary have released a report that described the current political and economical interconnection between the republics as "symbiotic", this means that the level of political and economical as "symbiotic", this means that the 5 constituent republics of the NEC are so interlinked with each other that they act as a single body with political parties and entire regions acting as one through the use of the NEC's many unification mechanisms that encourage such behavior and even rewards it with grants and subsidies that help develop the local economies. Not only that, but the leaders of the republics themselves such as the recent decision of Radin and Kozaki to form 4 federal regions that would fall directly under the control of the NEC. So with all that combined, the NGA confirmed the end of the second phase and officially started the work for the third phase which means that a constitutional convention will be called a series of referendums will be held to determine the functions, administration, and judiciary of the future Nadiyan state alongside addressing the question of the NEC extremely lax immigration laws. Indeed, the NEC alongside Aldegar are the only nations that give a 365 days Visa free stays to nationals of all nations without exception as a way to encourage immigration, however the NEC still required that stays longer than 90 days require visas and that one person cannot exploit the 365 Visa free stay more than once a year meaning that all tourists wishing to visit the isles more than once a year require a tourist visa for their stay. But, the NGA has recently rolled back that requirement now allowing people to stay within the Nadiyan Free Zone with the chance of applying for a visa during their stay with the requirements for visas becoming even more lax which underlines the NEC focus on bringing more people in to help deal with their recovery from the past 80 years.
